Proverbs 21
1 The heart of a king [is] streams of waters in the hand of YHWH, He inclines it wherever He pleases.
১ৰজাৰ হৃদয় যিহোৱাৰ হাতৰ পৰা বৈ থকা পানীৰ দৰে; তেওঁ এই পানী যি দিশলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, সেই দিশলৈ বোৱায়।
2 Every way of a man [is] right in his own eyes, And YHWH is pondering hearts.
২সকলো মানুহৰ পথ তেওঁৰ নিজৰ দৃষ্টিত ন্যায়; কিন্তু যিহোৱাই হৃদয় জোখে।
3 To do righteousness and judgment, Is chosen of YHWH rather than sacrifice.
৩যি সত্য আৰু ন্যায়, এনে কাৰ্য কৰা; বলিদানতকৈ এই কার্য সমূহ যিহোৱাৰ গ্রহণীয়।
4 Loftiness of eyes, and breadth of heart, Tillage of the wicked [is] sin.
৪অহংকাৰী দৃষ্টি আৰু দাম্ভিক হৃদয়; দুষ্ট লোকৰ প্রদীপ পাপেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ।
5 The purposes of the diligent [are] only to advantage, And of every hasty one, only to want.
৫পৰিশ্ৰমী লোকৰ কল্পনাই কেৱল উন্নতিলৈ লৈ যায়; কিন্তু যি সকলে খৰকৈ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোকলৈ কেৱল দৰিদ্ৰতা আহে।
6 The making of treasures by a lying tongue, [Is] a vanity driven away of those seeking death.
৬মিছলীয়া জিভাৰ দ্বাৰাই অৰ্জন কৰা ধন-সম্পত্তি অস্থায়ী ভাপ, সেইবোৰ মৃত্যু বিচাৰে,
7 The spoil of the wicked catches them, Because they have refused to do judgment.
৭দুষ্ট লোকৰ অত্যাচাৰে তেওঁলোকক দূৰ কৰিব; কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে ন্যায় পথত চলিবলৈ অসন্মত হয়।
8 The way of a man who is vile [is] contrary, And the pure—his work [is] upright.
৮অপৰাধীৰ পথ কুটিল হয়, কিন্তু যি জন শুদ্ধ, তেওঁ সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে।
9 Better to sit on a corner of the roof, Than [with] a woman of contentions and a house of company.
৯দন্দুৰী স্বভাৱৰ ভাৰ্যাৰ সৈতে ঘৰত বাস কৰাতকৈ, ঘৰৰ চালৰ এচুকত বাস কৰাই ভাল।
10 The soul of the wicked has desired evil, his neighbor is not gracious in his eyes.
১০দুষ্ট লোকৰ আত্মাই পাপ আকাংক্ষা কৰে, আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ চুবুৰীয়া কৃপা দৃষ্টি নাপায়।
11 When the scorner is punished, the simple becomes wise, And in giving understanding to the wise He receives knowledge.
১১যেতিয়া নিন্দক লোকে দণ্ড পায়, তেতিয়া অশিক্ষিত লোক জ্ঞানী হয়, আৰু যেতিয়া জ্ঞানী লোকে নিৰ্দেশ পায়, তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ জ্ঞান বৃদ্ধি হয়।
12 The Righteous One is acting wisely Toward the house of the wicked, He is overthrowing the wicked for wickedness.
১২যি জনে সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁ দুষ্ট লোকৰ ঘৰ পৰ্যবেক্ষণ কৰে; তেওঁ দুষ্ট লোকলৈ সৰ্ব্বনাশ কঢ়িয়াই আনে।
13 Whoever is shutting his ear from the cry of the poor, He also cries, and is not answered.
১৩যি জনে দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ কাতৰোক্তি নুশুনে, সেই জন যেতিয়া কান্দিব, তেতিয়া কোনেও নুশুনিব।
14 A gift in secret pacifies anger, And a bribe in the bosom—strong fury.
১৪গুপ্ত উপহাৰ ক্রোধ শান্ত কৰে, আৰু গোপন উপহাৰে প্ৰচণ্ড ক্ৰোধৰ পৰা আঁতৰায় ৰাখে।
15 To do justice [is] joy to the righteous, But ruin to workers of iniquity.
১৫যেতিয়া ন্যায় বিচাৰ হয়, তেতিয়া ন্যায় কৰা জনে আনন্দ পায়; কিন্তু কুকৰ্ম কৰা জনলৈ সৰ্ব্বনাশ কঢ়িয়াই আনে।
16 A man who is wandering from the way of understanding, Rests in an assembly of Rephaim.
১৬যি জনে বিবেচনা শক্তিৰ পথৰ পৰা ভ্ৰমি ফুৰে, সেই জনে মৃত সকলৰ সমাজত জিৰণী ল’ব।
17 Whoever [is] loving mirth [is] a poor man, Whoever is loving wine and oil makes no wealth.
১৭যি মানুহে ৰং-ধেমালি কৰি ভাল পায়, তেওঁ দৰিদ্ৰ হ’ব; আৰু যি জনে দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস আৰু তেল ভাল পায় তেওঁ ধনৱান নহ’ব।
18 The wicked [is] an atonement for the righteous, And the treacherous dealer for the upright.
১৮সৎ কাৰ্য কৰা লোকৰ বাবে দুষ্টলোকে প্রায়শ্চিত পায়; আৰু ন্যায়পৰায়ণ লোকৰ বাবে বিশ্বাসঘাতকৰ প্রায়শ্চিত হয়।
19 Better to dwell in a wilderness land, Than [with] a woman of contentions and anger.
১৯দ্বন্দুৰী আৰু সকলো সময়তে অভিযোগ কৰি থকা মহিলাৰ সৈতে বাস কৰাতকৈ, মৰুভূমিত বাস কৰাই ভাল।
20 A treasure to be desired, and oil, [Is] in the habitation of the wise, And a foolish man swallows it up.
২০জ্ঞানী লোকৰ ঘৰত বহুমূল্য বস্তু আৰু তেল থাকে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী লোকে সেইবোৰ অপব্যৱহাৰ কৰে।
21 Whoever is pursuing righteousness and kindness, Finds life, righteousness, and honor.
২১যি জনে সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে আৰু দয়ালু হয়, তেওঁ জীৱন পায়, উচিত সিদ্ধান্ত লয়, আৰু সন্মান লাভ কৰে।
22 The wise has gone up a city of the mighty, And brings down the strength of its confidence.
২২জ্ঞানী লোকে বীৰসকলৰ নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠি যায়, আৰু সুৰক্ষা দিয়া দুৰ্গ তেওঁ ধ্বংস কৰে।
23 Whoever is keeping his mouth and his tongue, Is keeping his soul from adversities.
২৩যি জনে নিজৰ মুখ আৰু জিভা চম্ভালি ৰাখে, তেওঁ সঙ্কটৰ পৰা নিজকে ৰক্ষা কৰে।
24 Proud, haughty, scorner—his name, Who is working in the wrath of pride.
২৪গৰ্ব্বি আৰু অহংকাৰী লোকক “নিন্দক” বুলি কোৱা হয়; তেওঁ দাম্ভিকতাৰে কাৰ্য কৰে।
25 The desire of the slothful slays him, For his hands have refused to work.
২৫এলেহুৱা লোকৰ অভিলাষে তেওঁক বধ কৰে; কাৰণ তেওঁৰ হাতে কাম কৰিবলৈ অমান্তি হয়।
26 All the day desiring he has desired, And the righteous gives and does not withhold.
২৬ওৰে দিনটো তেওঁ অধিকতকৈ অধিক পাবলৈ আকাংক্ষা কৰে; কিন্তু সৎ কাৰ্য কৰা জনে দান দিয়ে, আৰু দান দিয়া বন্ধ নকৰে।
27 The sacrifice of the wicked [is] abomination, Much more when he brings it in wickedness.
২৭দুষ্ট লোকৰ বলিদান ঘৃণনীয়; তাতে বেয়া মনোভাবেৰে অনাৰ বাবে তাতকৈ কিমান বেছি ঘৃণনীয় হ’ব।
28 A false witness perishes, And an attentive man speaks forever.
২৮মিছা সাক্ষী দিয়া জন ধ্বংস হ’ব; কিন্তু কথা শুনা জনে, তেওঁ সকলো সময়ৰ বাবে কথা ক’ব।
29 A wicked man has hardened by his face, And the upright—he prepares his way.
২৯দুষ্ট লোকে নিজকে পৰাক্রমী দেখুৱাই; কিন্তু ন্যায়পৰায়ণ লোকে নিজৰ পথ বিবেচনা কৰে।
30 There is no wisdom, nor understanding, Nor counsel against YHWH.
৩০যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে প্রজ্ঞা, বিবেচনা, বা পৰামৰ্শ একোৱেই স্থিৰ হ’ব নোৱাৰে।
31 A horse is prepared for a day of battle, And the deliverance [is] of YHWH!
৩১যুদ্ধৰ দিনৰ বাবে ঘোঁৰাক সু-সজ্জিত কৰা হয়, কিন্তু জয় যিহোৱাৰ কাৰণেহে হয়।
