Proverbs 19
1 Better [is] the poor walking in his integrity, Than the perverse [in] his lips—who [is] a fool.
১নিজৰ সিদ্ধতাত চলা দৰিদ্ৰ লোক, কোনো এজন কথাত বিপথগামী আৰু অজ্ঞানী লোকতকৈ ভাল।
2 Also, without knowledge the soul [is] not good, And the hasty in feet is sinning.
২জ্ঞানৰ অবিহনে অভিপ্রায় থকা ভাল নহয়; আৰু যি জনে বেগেৰে যায়, তেওঁ পথ হেৰুৱাই।
3 The folly of man perverts his way, And his heart is angry against YHWH.
৩মানুহৰ অজ্ঞানতাই তেওঁৰ জীৱন ধ্বংস কৰে; আৰু তেওঁৰ হৃদয় যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ক্রোধাম্বিত হয়।
4 Wealth adds many friends, And the poor is separated from his neighbor.
৪ধন-সম্পত্তিয়ে অনেক বন্ধু একত্রিত কৰে; কিন্তু দৰিদ্ৰ লোক নিজৰ বন্ধুসকলৰ পৰা বিছিন্ন হয়।
5 A false witness is not acquitted, Whoever breathes out lies is not delivered.
৫মিছা সাক্ষী দিয়া জনে দণ্ড নোপোৱাকৈ নাথাকিব; আৰু যি জনে মিছা কথা কয় তেৱোঁ অব্যাহতি নাপায়।
6 Many beg the face of the noble, And all have made friendship to a man of gifts.
৬অনেক লোকে অনুগ্ৰহ পাবলৈ দয়ালু লোকৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰে, আৰু যি জনে উপহাৰ দিয়ে, তেওঁৰ সকলো বন্ধু হয়।
7 All the brothers of the poor have hated him, Surely his friends have also been far from him, He is pursuing words—they are not!
৭যদি দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ ভায়েক সকলে তেওঁক ঘিণ কৰে; তেনেহলে তাতকৈ কিমান অধিক পৰিমাণে তেওঁৰ বন্ধুসকল তেওঁৰ পৰা আঁতৰি যাব! তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক আহ্বান কৰে, কিন্তু তেওঁলোক আতৰি যায়।
8 Whoever is getting heart is loving his soul, He is keeping understanding to find good.
৮যিজনে জ্ঞান লাভ কৰে, তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰাণক প্ৰেম কৰে, যিজনে বিবেচনা শক্তি ৰাখে, তেওঁ যি ভাল তাক বিচাৰি পায়।
9 A false witness is not acquitted, And whoever breathes out lies perishes.
৯মিছা সাক্ষী দিয়া জনে দণ্ড নোপোৱাকৈ নাথাকিব; কিন্তু মিছা কথা কোৱা জন বিনষ্ট হ’ব।
10 Luxury is not fitting for a fool, Much less for a servant to rule among princes.
১০অজ্ঞানী লোকে বিলাসীতা জীৱন যাপন কৰা অনুপযুক্ত; তেনেহলে ৰাজকুমাৰৰ ওপৰত দাসে শাসন কৰা তাতকৈ কিমান অধিক পৰিমাণে অনুপযুক্ত!
11 The wisdom of a man has deferred his anger, And his glory [is] to pass over transgression.
১১মানুহৰ বিবেচনাই তেওঁক ক্ৰোধত ধীৰ কৰে, আৰু অপৰাধ অৱমাননা কৰা তেওঁৰ গৌৰৱ।
12 The wrath of a king [is] a growl as of a young lion, And his goodwill as dew on the herb.
১২ৰজাৰ ক্ৰোধ ডেকা সিংহৰ গৰ্জ্জনৰ দৰে; কিন্তু তেওঁৰ অনুগ্ৰহ ঘাঁহৰ ওপৰত পৰা নিয়ৰৰ দৰে।
13 A foolish son [is] a calamity to his father, And the contentions of a wife [are] a continual dropping.
১৩মূৰ্খ পুত্ৰই পিতৃলৈ ধ্বংস আনে, আৰু কন্দল কৰা মহিলা টোপ-টোপকৈ পৰি থকা পানীৰ দৰে।
14 House and wealth [are] the inheritance of fathers, And an understanding wife [is] from YHWH.
১৪ঘৰ আৰু ধন-সম্পত্তি পিতৃসকলৰ পৰা পোৱা উত্তৰাধিকাৰ; কিন্তু জ্ঞানৱতী ভাৰ্যা যিহোৱাৰ পৰা পোৱা যায়।
15 Sloth causes deep sleep to fall, And an indolent soul hungers.
১৫এলাহে মানুহক দুৰ্ঘোৰ নিদ্রাত পেলায়, কিন্তু যিজনে কাম কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা নকৰে, তেওঁ ভোকত থাকিব।
16 Whoever is keeping the command is keeping his soul, Whoever is despising His ways dies.
১৬যি জনে আজ্ঞা পালন কৰে, তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰে; কিন্তু যি জনে নিজৰ পথৰ বিষয়ে চিন্তা নকৰে, তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব।
17 Whoever is lending [to] YHWH is favoring the poor, And He repays his deed to him.
১৭যি জনে দৰিদ্ৰক দয়া কৰে, তেওঁ যিহোৱাক ঋণ দিয়ে; আৰু তেওঁ কৰা কাৰ্যৰ বিনিময়, তেওঁ তেওঁক পৰিশোধ কৰিব।
18 Discipline your son, for there is hope, And do not lift up your soul to put him to death.
১৮আশা থাকোতে নিজৰ সন্তানক নিয়মানুবৰ্তিতা শিকোৱা; আৰু সন্তানক মাৰি পেলোৱাৰ কথা হৃদয়ত নাভাবিবা।
19 A man of great wrath is bearing punishment, For if you deliver, yet again you add.
১৯অতি ক্ৰোধী মানুহে দণ্ড পোৱা উচিত; যদি তুমি তেওঁক মুক্ত কৰা, তেনেহলে তুমি দ্বিতীয় বাৰৰ বাবেও কৰিব লাগিব।
20 Hear counsel and receive instruction, So that you are wise in your latter end.
২০তুমি জীৱনৰ শেষ বয়সত জ্ঞানী হ’বলৈ পৰামৰ্শ শুনা, আৰু নিৰ্দেশ গ্ৰহণ কৰা।
21 The purposes in a man’s heart [are] many, And the counsel of YHWH—it stands.
২১মানুহৰ হৃদয়ত বহুতো আঁচনি থাকে; কিন্তু যিহোৱাৰ অভিপ্রায় থিৰে থাকিব।
22 The desirableness of a man [is] his kindness, And the poor [is] better than a liar.
২২আনুগত্য মানুহৰ ইচ্ছাৰে হয়, আৰু মিছলীয়াতকৈ দৰিদ্ৰ লোক ভাল।
23 The fear of YHWH [is] to life, And he remains satisfied—he is not charged with evil.
২৩যিহোৱাক তেওঁৰ পাবলগীয়া সন্মান দিয়া, আৰু সেয়ে তোমাৰ জীৱনদায়ক হ’ব, আৰু যি জনৰ সেয়া আছে, তেওঁ তৃপ্ত হৈ থাকিব; আৰু তেওঁ অনিষ্টৰ দ্বাৰাই পীড়িত নহ’ব।
24 The slothful has hidden his hand in a dish, Even to his mouth he does not bring it back.
২৪এলেহুৱাই পাত্ৰৰ আহাৰত হাত সুমুৱাই, এনেকি পুনৰায় মুখলৈ ঘূৰাই নিব নোৱাৰিব।
25 Strike a scorner, and the simple acts prudently, And give reproof to the intelligent, He understands knowledge.
২৫নিন্দকক প্ৰহাৰ কৰা, তাতে অশিক্ষিত দূৰদর্শী হ’ব; আৰু সুবিবেচকক অনুযোগ কৰা, তাতে তেওঁ জ্ঞান লাভ কৰিব।
26 Whoever is spoiling a father causes a mother to flee, A son causing shame, and bringing confusion.
২৬যি পুত্ৰই পিতৃক লুট কৰে, আৰু মাতৃক খেদি দিয়ে, তেওঁ এনে পুত্র যি জনে লাজ আৰু অপমান আনে।
27 Cease, my son, to hear instruction—To err from sayings of knowledge.
২৭হে মোৰ পুত্র, যদি তুমি উপদেশ শুনিবলৈ এৰি দিয়া, তুমি জ্ঞানৰ বাক্যৰ পৰা ভ্রান্ত হবা।
28 A worthless witness scorns judgment, And the mouth of the wicked swallows iniquity.
২৮দুৰ্নীতিগ্রস্ত সাক্ষীয়ে ন্যায় বিচাৰৰ নিন্দা কৰে, আৰু দুষ্টসকলৰ মুখে অপৰাধ গ্ৰাস কৰে।
29 Judgments have been prepared for scorners, And stripes for the back of fools!
২৯নিন্দকসকলৰ বাবে দণ্ড যুগুত আছে, আৰু অজ্ঞানী সকলৰ পিঠিৰ বাবে সাঁচ বহা কোব যুগুত আছে।
