< Proverbs 14 >
1 Every wise woman has built her house, And the foolish breaks it down with her hands.
Wise [women] of women she builds house her and a foolish woman with hands her she tears down it.
2 Whoever is walking in his uprightness is fearing YHWH, And the perverted is despising Him [in] his ways.
[one who] walks In uprightness his [is one] fearing Yahweh and [the] [one who] is crooked of ways his [is] despising him.
3 A rod of pride [is] in the mouth of a fool, And the lips of the wise preserve them.
[is] in [the] mouth of A fool a shoot of pride and [the] lips of wise [people] it preserves them.
4 Without oxen a stall [is] clean, And great [is] the increase by the power of the ox.
When there not [are] cattle [the] feeding trough [is] clean and abundance of produce [is] by [the] strength of an ox.
5 A faithful witness does not lie, And a false witness breathes out lies.
A witness of faithfulness not he tells lies and he may breathe out lies a witness of falsehood.
6 A scorner has sought wisdom, and it is not, And knowledge [is] easy to the intelligent.
He seeks a mocker wisdom and there [is] not and knowledge to a discerning [person] it is trifling.
7 Go from before a foolish man, Or you have not known the lips of knowledge.
Go from before to a person a fool and not you have known lips of knowledge.
8 The wisdom of the prudent [is] to understand his way, And the folly of fools [is] deceit.
[the] wisdom of A sensible [person] [is] to understand own way his and [the] foolishness of fools [is] deceit.
9 Fools mock at a guilt-offering, And among the upright—a pleasing thing.
Fools he mocks guilt and [is] between upright [people] favor.
10 The heart knows its own bitterness, And a stranger does not interfere with its joy.
A heart [is] knowing [the] bitterness of own self its and in joy its not he shares a stranger.
11 The house of the wicked is destroyed, And the tent of the upright flourishes.
[the] house of Wicked [people] it will be destroyed and [the] tent of upright [people] it will flourish.
12 There is a way—right before a man, And its latter end [are] ways of death.
There [is] a way right before a person and end its [is the] ways of death.
13 Even in laughter is the heart pained, And the latter end of joy [is] affliction.
Also in laughter it is in pain a heart and end its joy [may be] grief.
14 The backslider in heart is filled from his ways, And a good man—from his fruits.
From ways his he will be satisfied [one] backslidden of heart and from with himself a person good.
15 The simple gives credence to everything, And the prudent attends to his step.
A naive person he believes every thing and a sensible [person] he considers step his.
16 The wise is fearing and turning from evil, And a fool is transgressing and is confident.
A wise [person] [is] fearing and [is] turning aside from evil and a fool [is] arrogant and [is] confident.
17 Whoever is short of temper does folly, And a man of wicked schemes is hated.
[a person] short of Anger he does foolishness and a person of evil devices he is hated.
18 The simple have inherited folly, And the prudent are crowned [with] knowledge.
They inherit naive people foolishness and sensible [people] they surround knowledge.
19 The evil have bowed down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
They bow evil [people] before good [people] and wicked [people] at [the] gates of [the] righteous.
20 The poor is hated even of his neighbor, And those loving the rich [are] many.
Also by neighbor his he is hated a poor [person] and [those who] love [the] rich [are] many.
21 Whoever is despising his neighbor sins, Whoever is favoring the humble, O his blessedness.
[one who] despises Neighbor his [is] sinning and [one who] shows favor to (humble [people] *Q(K)*) how blessed [is] he.
22 Do they who are devising evil not err? And kindness and truth [are] to those devising good,
¿ Not do they go astray devisers of evil and loyalty and faithfulness devisers of good.
23 In all labor there is advantage, And a thing of the lips [is] only to want.
In all hard labor it is profit and word of lips only to poverty.
24 The crown of the wise is their wealth, The folly of fools [is] folly.
[is the] crown of Wise [people] wealth their [the] folly of fools [is] folly.
25 A true witness is delivering souls, And a deceitful one breathes out lies.
[is] delivering Lives a witness of reliability so he may breathe out lies deceit.
26 Strong confidence [is] in the fear of YHWH, And there is a refuge to His sons.
[is] in [the] fear of Yahweh confidence of strength and to children his it will belong a refuge.
27 The fear of YHWH [is] a fountain of life, To turn aside from snares of death.
[the] fear of Yahweh [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.
28 The honor of a king [is] in the multitude of a people, And the ruin of a prince in lack of people.
[is] in [the] multitude of A people [the] glory of a king and in not a people [the] ruin of a ruler.
29 Whoever is slow to anger [is] of great understanding, And whoever is short in temper is exalting folly.
A [person] long of anger great of understanding and [a person] short of spirit [is] exalting foolishness.
30 A healed heart [is] life to the flesh, And rottenness to the bones [is] envy.
[is] [the] life of Bodies a heart of healing and [is] rottenness of bones jealousy.
31 An oppressor of the poor reproaches his Maker, And whoever is honoring Him Is favoring the needy.
[one who] oppresses [the] poor He reproaches maker his and [is] honoring him [one who] shows favor to [the] needy.
32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness, And the righteous [is] trustful in his death.
By wickedness his he is pushed down a wicked [person] and [is] seeking refuge in death his a righteous [person].
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of the intelligent. And it is known in the midst of fools.
In [the] heart of a discerning [person] it rests wisdom and in [the] inward part[s] of fools it is made known.
34 Righteousness exalts a nation, And the righteousness of peoples [is] a sin-offering.
Righteousness it exalts a nation and [is] a shame to a people sin.
35 The favor of a king [is] to a wise servant, And one causing shame is an object of his wrath!
[the] favor of A king [belongs] to a servant [who] acts prudently and fury his it belongs [one who] acts shamefully.
