< Proverbs 13 >
1 A wise son—the instruction of a father, And a scorner—he has not heard rebuke.
Dana oghul atisining terbiyisige köngül qoyar; Mesxire qilghuchi tenbihke qulaq salmas.
2 A man eats good from the fruit of the mouth, And the soul of the treacherous—violence.
Adem durus éghizining méwisidin huzurlinar; Tuzkorlar zorawanliqqa hewes qilip zorawanliqqa uchrar.
3 Whoever is keeping his mouth, is keeping his soul, Whoever is opening wide his lips—ruin to him!
Sözde éhtiyatchan kishi jénini saqlap qalar; Aghzi ittik halaketke uchrar.
4 The soul of the slothful is desiring, and does not have. And the soul of the diligent is made fat.
Hurunning arzu-tiliki bar, lékin érishelmes; Lékin tirishchan etliner.
5 The righteous hates a false word, And the wicked causes abhorrence, and is confounded.
Heqqaniy adem yalghanchiliqtin yirginer; Qebih bolsa sésip, shermende bolar.
6 Righteousness keeps him who is perfect in the way, And wickedness overthrows a sin offering.
Yoli durusni heqqaniyet qoghdar; Lékin gunahkarni rezillik yiqitar.
7 There is [he] who is making himself rich, and has nothing, Who is making himself poor, and wealth [is] abundant.
Beziler özini bay körsetkini bilen emeliyette quruq sölettur; Beziler özini yoqsul körsetkini bilen zor bayliqliri bardur.
8 The ransom of a man’s life [are] his riches, And the poor has not heard rebuke.

9 The light of the righteous rejoices, And the lamp of the wicked is extinguished.
Heqqaniy ademning nuri shadlinip parlar; Biraq yaman ademning chirighi öchürüler.
10 A vain man causes debate through pride, And wisdom [is] with the counseled.
Kibirliktin peqet jédel-majirala chiqar; Danaliq bolsa nesihetni anglighanlar bilen billidur.
11 Wealth from vanity becomes little, And whoever is gathering by the hand becomes great.
Ishlimey tapqan haram bayliq beriketsizdur; Ter töküp halal tapqan gülliner.
12 Hope prolonged is making the heart sick, And a tree of life [is] the coming desire.
Telmürginige kütüp érishelmeslik köngülni sunuq qilar, Lékin teshnaliqta érishkini «hayatliq derixi»dur.
13 Whoever is despising the word is destroyed for it, And whoever is fearing the command is repaid.
[Xudaning] kalam-sözige pisent qilmighan adem gunahning tölimige qerzdar bolar; Lékin permanni qedirligen adem yaxshiliq körer.
14 The law of the wise [is] a fountain of life, To turn aside from snares of death.
Aqilanining telimi hayatliq bergüchi bulaqtur, U séni ölüm tuzaqliridin qutuldurar.
15 Good understanding gives grace, And the way of the treacherous [is] hard.
Aqilanilik ademni iltipatqa érishtürer; Biraq tuzkorlarning yoli egri-bügri, japaliq bolar.
16 Every prudent one deals with knowledge, And a fool spreads out folly.
Pem-parasetlik adem bilimi bilen ish körer; Hamaqet öz nadanliqini ashkarilar.
17 A wicked messenger falls into evil, And a faithful ambassador is healing.
Rezil alaqichi bala-qazagha uchrar; Sadiq elchi bolsa derdke dermandur.
18 Whoever is refusing instruction—poverty and shame, And whoever is observing reproof is honored.
Terbiyeni ret qilghan adem namratliship uyatqa qalar; Emma tenbihni qobul qilghan hörmetke érisher.
19 A desire accomplished is sweet to the soul, And an abomination to fools [Is] to turn from evil.
Emelge ashqan arzu kishige shérin tuyular; Lékin exmeqler yamanliqni tashlashni yaman körer.
20 Whoever is walking with wise men is wise, And a companion of fools suffers evil.
Aqilaniler bilen bille yürgen Dan. bolar; Biraq exmeqlerge hemrah bolghan nale-peryadta qalar.
21 Evil pursues sinners, And good repays the righteous.
Bala-qaza gunahkarlarning keynidin bésip mangar; Lékin heqqaniylar yaxshiliqning ejrini tapar.
22 A good man causes sons’ sons to inherit, And the sinner’s wealth [is] laid up for the righteous.
Yaxshi adem perzentlirining perzentlirige miras qaldurar; Gunahkarlarning yighqan mal-dunyaliri heqqaniylar üchün toplinar.
23 Abundance of food—the tillage of the poor, And substance is consumed without judgment.
Yoqsulning tashlanduq yéri mol hosul bérer, Lékin adaletsizliktin u weyran bolar.
24 Whoever is sparing his rod is hating his son, And whoever is loving him has hurried his discipline.
Tayaqni ayighan kishi oghlini yaxshi körmes; Balini söygen kishi uni estayidil terbiyilep jazalar.
25 The righteous is eating to the satiety of his soul, And the belly of the wicked lacks!
Heqqaniy adem köngli qanaet tapquche ozuq yer; Yamanning qorsiqi ach qalar.
