Proverbs 10
1 Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son causes a father to rejoice, And a foolish son [is] an affliction to his mother.
১চলোমনৰ নীতি বাক্য। জ্ঞানী পুত্ৰই পিতৃক আনন্দিত কৰে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী পুত্ৰই নিজৰ মাতৃৰ মনত দুখ দিয়ে।
2 Treasures of wickedness do not profit, And righteousness delivers from death.
২দুষ্টতাৰে অৰ্জন কৰা ধন-সম্পত্তিৰ কোনো মূল্য নাই; কিন্তু সত্যতাৰে কার্য কৰা জনক মৃত্যুৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ কৰে।
3 YHWH does not cause the soul of the righteous to hunger, And He thrusts away the desire of the wicked.
৩যিসকলে সত্যতাৰে কাৰ্য কৰে, যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক ভোকত থাকিব নিদিয়ে; কিন্তু তেওঁ দুষ্টবোৰৰ বাঞ্ছা পুৰ নকৰে।
4 Poor [is] he who is working [with] a slothful hand, And the hand of the diligent makes rich.
৪এলেহুৱা হাতেৰে কাম কৰা মানুহ দৰিদ্ৰ হয়, কিন্তু পৰিশ্ৰমীজনৰ হাতে তেওঁক ধনৱান কৰে।
5 Whoever is gathering in summer [is] a wise son, Whoever is sleeping in harvest [is] a son causing shame.
৫গ্রীষ্ম কালত বুদ্ধিমান পুত্ৰই শস্য চপায়; কিন্তু শস্য দোৱাৰ সময়ত টোপনিত থকা জন লজ্জাজনক পুত্ৰ।
6 Blessings [are] for the head of the righteous, And the mouth of the wicked covers violence.
৬সত্যতাৰে কাৰ্য কৰা জনৰ ওপৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ আহে; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ মুখ অত্যাচাৰেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ।
7 The remembrance of the righteous [is] for a blessing, And the name of the wicked rots.
৭সত্যতাৰ কার্য কৰা কোনো লোকৰ কথা ভাবিলে আমি আনন্দিত হওঁ; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ নাম লুপ্ত হ’ব।
8 The wise in heart accepts commands, And a talkative fool kicks.
৮যিসকল লোক সচেতন, তেওঁলোকে আজ্ঞা পালন কৰে; কিন্তু অধিক কথা কোৱা মূৰ্খলোক ধ্বংসৰ পথত যায়।
9 Whoever is walking in integrity walks confidently, And whoever is perverting his ways is known.
৯যি জনে সিদ্ধতাৰূপ পথত খোজ দিয়ে, তেওঁ সুৰক্ষিত হৈ চলে, কিন্তু যিজনে নিজৰ পথ কুটিলতাৰে পূৰ্ণ কৰে, তেওঁক বিচাৰি উলিওৱা হ’ব।
10 Whoever is winking the eye gives grief, And a talkative fool kicks.
১০চকুৰে ইঙ্গিত কৰা জনে দুখ দিয়ে; কিন্তু কথকি মুৰ্খলোক পতিত হয়।
11 A fountain of life [is] the mouth of the righteous, And the mouth of the wicked covers violence.
১১সত্যতাৰে চলা জনৰ মুখ জীৱনৰ ভুমুক স্বৰূপ; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ মুখে অত্যাচাৰ লুকুৱাই ৰাখে।
12 Hatred awakens contentions, And love covers over all transgressions.
১২ঘৃণাই বিবাদ জন্মায়; কিন্তু প্ৰেমে সকলো অপৰাধ ঢাকে।
13 Wisdom is found in the lips of the intelligent, And a rod [is] for the back of him who is lacking understanding.
১৩সুবিবেচক লোকৰ ওঁঠত প্ৰজ্ঞা পোৱা যায়; কিন্তু পিঠিত চেকনী জ্ঞানশূন্য লোকৰ বাবে হয়।
14 The wise lay up knowledge, and the mouth of a fool [is] near ruin.
১৪জ্ঞানীলোকে জ্ঞান সংৰক্ষিত কৰে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানৰ মুখে ধ্বংস আনে।
15 The wealth of the rich [is] his strong city, The ruin of the poor [is] their poverty.
১৫ধনী লোকৰ ধন সম্পত্তিয়েই তাৰ দৃঢ় নগৰ; কিন্তু দৰিদ্ৰলোকৰ দৰিদ্ৰতাই তেওঁলোকৰ বিনাশৰ কাৰণ।
16 The wage of the righteous [is] for life, The increase of the wicked for sin.
১৬সত্যতাৰে কাৰ্য কৰা লোকৰ পাৰিশ্ৰমিকে জীৱন দিয়ে; দুষ্ট লোকৰ উপাৰ্জনৰ লাভে পাপলৈ ঠেলি দিয়ে।
17 A traveler to life [is] he who is keeping instruction, And whoever is forsaking rebuke is erring.
১৭যিজনে নিয়মানুবৰ্তিতাত চলে, তেওঁ জীৱনৰ পথত চলে; কিন্তু যিজনে অনুযোগ অমান্য কৰে, তেওঁ বিপথে যায়।
18 Whoever is covering hatred with lying lips, And whoever is bringing out an evil report is a fool.
১৮যিজনে ঘৃণা গোপনে ৰাখে, তেওঁ মিছলীয়া ওঁঠৰ লোক, আৰু যিজনে অপবাদ বিস্তাৰ কৰে, তেওঁ মূৰ্খ হয়।
19 In the abundance of words transgression does not cease, And whoever is restraining his lips [is] wise.
১৯অধিক কথাত অপৰাধৰ অভাৱ নাই; কিন্তু যিজনে কথা কওঁতে সাৱধান হয়, তেওঁ জ্ঞানী।
20 The tongue of the righteous [is] chosen silver, The heart of the wicked—as a little thing.
২০যিজনে সত্যতাৰ কথা কয়, তেওঁৰ জিভা শুদ্ধ ৰূপৰ দৰে; দুষ্টৰ হৃদয়ত সামান্য মূল্য থাকে।
21 The lips of the righteous delight many, And fools die for lack of heart.
২১সত্যতাৰে কাৰ্য কৰা লোকৰ ওঁঠে অনেকক প্ৰতিপালন কৰে; কিন্তু জ্ঞানশূন্যতাৰ বাবে মূৰ্খলোকৰ মৃত্যু হয়।
22 The blessing of YHWH—it makes rich, And He adds no grief with it.
২২যিহোৱাৰ আশীৰ্ব্বাদে ধনৱান কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ তাৰ সৈতে কোনো দুখ যোগ নকৰে।
23 To execute inventions [is] as play to a fool, And wisdom to a man of understanding.
২৩দুষ্টতা মূৰ্খই খেলা খেল স্বৰূপ, কিন্তু প্রজ্ঞা সুবিবেচনা কৰা লোকৰ বাবে আনন্দদায়ক।
24 The feared thing of the wicked meets him, And the desire of the righteous is given.
২৪দুষ্ট লোকে যিহলৈ ভয় কৰে, সেয়ে তালৈ ঘটে; কিন্তু ধাৰ্মিকৰ বাঞ্ছা সিদ্ধ হয়।
25 As the passing by of a windstorm, So the wicked is not, And the righteous is a perpetual foundation.
২৫দুষ্ট লোক ধুমুহাৰ দৰে, সেয়ে অতিক্রম কৰি বিলুপ্ত হৈ যায়, কিন্তু যিসকলে সত্যতাৰ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোক চিৰস্থায়ী ভিত্তিমুলস্বৰূপ।
26 As vinegar to the teeth, And as smoke to the eyes, So [is] the slothful to those sending him.
২৬দাঁতৰ বাবে সিৰ্কা, আৰু চকুৰ বাবে ধোঁৱা যেনেকুৱা, পঠোৱা লোকসকলৰ বাবেও এলেহুৱা তেনেকুৱা।
27 The fear of YHWH adds days, And the years of the wicked are shortened.
২৭যিহোৱালৈ থকা ভয়ে আয়ুস বৃদ্ধি কৰে; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ বছৰবোৰ কমি যাব।
28 The hope of the righteous [is] joyful, And the expectation of the wicked perishes.
২৮সৎ কাৰ্য কৰা জনৰ আশা আনন্দ জনক; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ বছৰবোৰ কম হ’ব।
29 The way of YHWH [is] strength to the perfect, And ruin to workers of iniquity.
২৯যিসকল লোকে পথত চলে, তেওঁলোকক যিহোৱাই ৰক্ষা কৰে। কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ বাবে সেয়ে সৰ্ব্বনাশ স্বৰূপ।
30 The righteous is not moved for all time, And the wicked do not inhabit the earth.
৩০যিসকলে সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোক কেতিয়াও লৰচৰ নহব; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোক দেশত অৱশিষ্ট নাথাকিব।
31 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, And the tongue of contrariness is cut out.
৩১যিসকল লোকে সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ মুখৰ পৰা প্রজ্ঞা ওলায়; কিন্তু উচ্ছৃঙ্খল জিভা কাটি পেলোৱা হ’ব।
32 The lips of the righteous know a pleasing thing, And the mouth of the wicked perverseness!
৩২যিসকল লোক সকলৰ ওঁঠে সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ ওঁঠে গ্ৰহণীয় কি, সেই বিষয়ে জানে; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ মুখে উচ্ছৃঙ্খলতা কি সেই বিষয়ে জানে।
