< Philippians 4 >

1 So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and garland, so stand in the LORD, beloved.
he madīyānandamukuṭasvarūpāḥ priyatamā abhīṣṭatamā bhrātaraḥ, he mama snehapātrāḥ, yūyam itthaṁ pabhau sthirāstiṣṭhata|
2 I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the LORD;
he ivadiye he suntukhi yuvāṁ prabhau ekabhāve bhavatam etad ahaṁ prārthaye|
3 and I also ask you, genuine yoke-fellow, be assisting those women who strove along with me in the good news, with Clement also, and the others, my fellow-workers, whose names [are] in [the] Scroll of Life.
he mama satya sahakārin tvāmapi vinīya vadāmi etayorupakārastvayā kriyatāṁ yataste klīminādibhiḥ sahakāribhiḥ sārddhaṁ susaṁvādapracāraṇāya mama sāhāyyārthaṁ pariśramam akurvvatāṁ teṣāṁ sarvveṣāṁ nāmāni ca jīvanapustake likhitāni vidyante|
4 Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, rejoice!
yūyaṁ prabhau sarvvadānandata| puna rvadāmi yūyam ānandata|
5 Let your reasonableness be known to all men; the LORD [is] near;
yuṣmākaṁ vinītatvaṁ sarvvamānavai rjñāyatāṁ, prabhuḥ sannidhau vidyate|
6 be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
yūyaṁ kimapi na cintayata kintu dhanyavādayuktābhyāṁ prārthanāyāñcābhyāṁ sarvvaviṣaye svaprārthanīyam īśvarāya nivedayata|
7 and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
tathā kṛta īśvarīyā yā śāntiḥ sarvvāṁ buddhim atiśete sā yuṣmākaṁ cittāni manāṁsi ca khrīṣṭe yīśau rakṣiṣyati|
8 As to the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as [are] revered, as many as [are] righteous, as many as [are] pure, as many as [are] lovely, as many as [are] of good report, if any worthiness, and if any praise, think on these things;
he bhrātaraḥ, śeṣe vadāmi yadyat satyam ādaraṇīyaṁ nyāyyaṁ sādhu priyaṁ sukhyātam anyeṇa yena kenacit prakāreṇa vā guṇayuktaṁ praśaṁsanīyaṁ vā bhavati tatraiva manāṁsi nidhadhvaṁ|
9 the things that you also learned, and receive, and hear, and saw in me, do those, and the God of peace will be with you.
yūyaṁ māṁ dṛṣṭvā śrutvā ca yadyat śikṣitavanto gṛhītavantaśca tadevācarata tasmāt śāntidāyaka īśvaro yuṣmābhiḥ sārddhaṁ sthāsyati|
10 And I rejoiced in the LORD greatly, that now at length you flourished again in caring for me, for which also you were caring, and lacked opportunity;
mamopakārāya yuṣmākaṁ yā cintā pūrvvam āsīt kintu karmmadvāraṁ na prāpnot idānīṁ sā punaraphalat ityasmin prabhau mama paramāhlādo'jāyata|
11 I do not say that in respect of want, for I learned in the things in which I am—to be content;
ahaṁ yad dainyakāraṇād idaṁ vadāmi tannahi yato mama yā kācid avasthā bhavet tasyāṁ santoṣṭum aśikṣayaṁ|
12 I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.
daridratāṁ bhoktuṁ śaknomi dhanāḍhyatām api bhoktuṁ śaknomi sarvvathā sarvvaviṣayeṣu vinīto'haṁ pracuratāṁ kṣudhāñca dhanaṁ dainyañcāvagato'smi|
13 I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;
mama śaktidāyakena khrīṣṭena sarvvameva mayā śakyaṁ bhavati|
14 but you did well, having shared in my tribulation;
kintu yuṣmābhi rdainyanivāraṇāya mām upakṛtya satkarmmākāri|
15 and you have known, even you Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news when I went forth from Macedonia, no assembly communicated with me in regard to giving and receiving except you only;
he philipīyalokāḥ, susaṁvādasyodayakāle yadāhaṁ mākidaniyādeśāt pratiṣṭhe tadā kevalān yuṣmān vināparayā kayāpi samityā saha dānādānayo rmama ko'pi sambandho nāsīd iti yūyamapi jānītha|
16 because in Thessalonica also, both once and again you sent to my need;
yato yuṣmābhi rmama prayojanāya thiṣalanīkīnagaramapi māṁ prati punaḥ punardānaṁ preṣitaṁ|
17 not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is overflowing to your account;
ahaṁ yad dānaṁ mṛgaye tannahi kintu yuṣmākaṁ lābhavarddhakaṁ phalaṁ mṛgaye|
18 and I have all things, and abound; I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you—an odor of a refreshing fragrance—a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God:
kintu mama kasyāpyabhāvo nāsti sarvvaṁ pracuram āste yata īśvarasya grāhyaṁ tuṣṭijanakaṁ sugandhinaivedyasvarūpaṁ yuṣmākaṁ dānaṁ ipāphraditād gṛhītvāhaṁ paritṛpto'smi|
19 and my God will supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;
mameśvaro'pi khrīṣṭena yīśunā svakīyavibhavanidhitaḥ prayojanīyaṁ sarvvaviṣayaṁ pūrṇarūpaṁ yuṣmabhyaṁ deyāt|
20 and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
asmākaṁ piturīśvarasya dhanyavādo'nantakālaṁ yāvad bhavatu| āmen| (aiōn g165)
21 Every holy one in Christ Jesus greets you; the brothers with me greet you;
yūyaṁ yīśukhrīṣṭasyaikaikaṁ pavitrajanaṁ namaskuruta| mama saṅgibhrātaro yūṣmān namaskurvvate|
22 all the holy ones greet you, and especially those of Caesar’s house.
sarvve pavitralokā viśeṣataḥ kaisarasya parijanā yuṣmān namaskurvvate|
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.
asmākaṁ prabho ryīśukhrīṣṭasya prasādaḥ sarvvān yuṣmān prati bhūyāt| āmen|
