< Philippians 4 >

1 So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and garland, so stand in the LORD, beloved.
So, my beloved and longed for brethren, my joy and my crown, stand fast in the Lord, beloved.
2 I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the LORD;
I exhort, Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same thing in the Lord.
3 and I also ask you, genuine yoke-fellow, be assisting those women who strove along with me in the good news, with Clement also, and the others, my fellow-workers, whose names [are] in [the] Scroll of Life.
Yea, I also entreat thee, noble yoke-fellow, assist those women, whosoever labored with me in the gospel, both along with Clement, and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always: I say to you again, Rejoice.
5 Let your reasonableness be known to all men; the LORD [is] near;
Let your clemency be made known to all men; the Lord is nigh.
6 be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Be solicitous about nothing; but in all prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God.
7 and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
And the peace of God, that passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 As to the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as [are] revered, as many as [are] righteous, as many as [are] pure, as many as [are] lovely, as many as [are] of good report, if any worthiness, and if any praise, think on these things;
Finally, brethren, so many things as are true, so many things as are noble, so many things as are righteous, so many things as are pure, so many things as are lovely, so many things as are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
9 the things that you also learned, and receive, and hear, and saw in me, do those, and the God of peace will be with you.
Whatsoever things you have indeed learned and received and heard and seen in me, do the same: and the God of peace will be with you.
10 And I rejoiced in the LORD greatly, that now at length you flourished again in caring for me, for which also you were caring, and lacked opportunity;
But I greatly rejoice in the Lord, because indeed you have at length revived to think about me; in whatsoever you indeed were thinking, nevertheless you lacked opportunity.
11 I do not say that in respect of want, for I learned in the things in which I am—to be content;
Not that I speak concerning deficiency: for I have learned to be content with those things amid which I am.
12 I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.
I indeed know how to be poor, and I know how to abound: in every thing and in all things I learned both to flourish and to be poor, both to abound and to be destitute.
13 I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;
I can do all things through him who fills me up with dynamite.
14 but you did well, having shared in my tribulation;
Moreover you did beautifully, communicating with my tribulation.
15 and you have known, even you Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news when I went forth from Macedonia, no assembly communicated with me in regard to giving and receiving except you only;
And you indeed know, O Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I came out from Macedonia, no church communicated with me in the word of giving and receiving, except you alone;
16 because in Thessalonica also, both once and again you sent to my need;
because also in Thessalonica both once and twice you sent to my need.
17 not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is overflowing to your account;
Not that I seek a gift; but I seek fruit abounding to your credit.
18 and I have all things, and abound; I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you—an odor of a refreshing fragrance—a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God:
But I have all things, and I abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus those things from you, an odor of a sweet savor, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
19 and my God will supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;
But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
20 and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
To God even our Father be the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Every holy one in Christ Jesus greets you; the brothers with me greet you;
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me salute you.
22 all the holy ones greet you, and especially those of Caesar’s house.
All the saints, and especially those from the house of Caesar, salute you.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
