< Philemon 1 >

1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon our beloved and fellow-worker,
Paul, Khrista Jisua jâra mi intângpu le ei lâibungpa Timothy renga, Kin mal le kin sinthopu champui Philimon kôm,

3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Pathien ei Pa le Pumapa Jisua Khrista'n moroina le inngêina nangni pêk rese.
4 I give thanks to my God, always making mention of you in my prayers,
Lâibungpa Philimon, chubai ko tho racham ni riming dênin ka Pathien kôm râisânchong ki ril ngâi ani.
5 hearing of your love and faith that you have to the Lord Jesus and toward all the holy ones,
Pathien mingei murdi chunga lungkhamna le Pumapa Jisua han taksônna no dôn tit ke lei riet sikin.
6 that the fellowship of your faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that [is] in you toward Christ Jesus;
Ku chubaithona tak chu iempungei anghan nangma leh kin inlopkhômna chungroi hin Khrista leh inzoma ei ringnuna satvurna murdi ei dôn ngei hih rietheina inthûk uol amintung theina rangin ani.
7 for we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the yearnings of the holy ones have been refreshed through you, brother.
Lâibung moroitak, nu lungkhamna han râisânna lientak le mohôkna tamtak mi mintung pe ani! Pathien mingei mulungngei murdi ni mintâi ani.
8 For this reason, having in Christ much boldness to command you that which is fit—
Masika hin Khrista han na lâibungpa anghan imo ni sintho rang ruo chong nang pêk hih ngam bâk rang khom ni ronga.
9 because of the love I rather plead, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;
Aniatachu, manêkin nang ku lungkhamna sikin, keima Paul nikhom ronga, hima hih thôn Khrista Jisua palâi, male atûn hin khom ama jâra mi intângpu nikhom ronga ngêna ko dôn ani.
10 I beg you concerning my child—whom I begot in my bonds—Onesimus,
Intângna ina ko om sûngin Khrista taka han ka nâipasal lelê; rathatienga a pa ko hongni, masikin Onesimus ruthûlin no kôm ngêna ko dôn ani.
11 who once was to you unprofitable, and now is profitable to me and to you,
Ama hih moton han chu nangma rangin mangmunboi ania, aniatachu atûn hin chu aruonin nang rang le kei rangin mangmunomtak ani zoi.
12 whom I sent again to you—he who is my own heart,
Atûn hin no kôm ko hongtîr nôka ama lehin ku mulungrîl khom ahong sa ani.
13 whom I intended to retain to myself, that in your behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,
Masikin, ama hih nu ruthûla ni san theina rangin thurchisa jâra intângna ina ko om sûngin ko kôm hin la dar rang ku nuom ani.
14 but apart from your mind I willed to do nothing, so that your good deed may not be as of necessity, but of willingness,
Nikhomrese, mi san rangin nang dânderit nuom mu unga; manêkin, ma ha chu nu lungdo angin no tho rangin ku nuom ani. Masikin, no jôtna boiin ite tho noning.
15 for perhaps because of this he departed for an hour, that you may have him continuously, (aiōnios g166)
Masikin Onesimus'n nangma renga chomolte a rot hih zoratin no dôn nôk kelen theina rang sika khom ani thei. (aiōnios g166)
16 no longer as a servant, but above a servant—a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the LORD!
Atûn hin ama hih suok papai niloiin suok nêka sa uol ok: ama hih Khrista taka han lâibung moroitak ani zoi. Keima ta rangin khodôr tak mo ani rang ni zoi! Male nangma ta rang vângin chu ala ni uol rang, aruonin suok anghan le Pumapa han lâibung anghan ani rang ani zoi!
17 If, then, you have fellowship with me, receive him as me,
Masikin no lôm anghan mi ni mindonin chu, keima lamdon mi ni lei tho rang anghan ama hih lamdon lei tho nôk roh.
18 and if he did hurt to you, or owes anything, charge this to me;
Nu chunga a tho minchâina tete aoma, ân tângna tete aom lekhom keima ka lakâiin minsâp roh.
19 I, Paul, wrote with my hand, I will repay; besides, that I may not say that you also owe to me yourself.
Mahin, ku kut lelên hima hih ki miziek rang: Keima, Paul'n nang thuon nôk ki tih. (Ko kôma nên tâng khet ti nang ki min rietnôkna chu ni oul mak.)
20 Yes, brother, may I have profit of you in the LORD; refresh my yearnings in the LORD;
Masikin, ka lâibungpa, rangâihoitakin Pumapa jârin mahi ni tho pe inla; Khrista taka han lâibung anghan, mi mathâi roh!
21 I wrote to you having been confident in your obedience, having known that you will also do above what I may say;
Tak ko sônchêt, anghan nang ke ngên hih tho na ta, mapêna khom tho ni tih, tiin ki riet mindik sikin no kôm mahi ki miziek ani.
22 and at the same time also prepare for me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be granted to you.
Mapên han, ku tungna rang khâltan mi lei mintuo pe roh, Pathien'n nin renga nin chubaithonangei a khôka nin kôm mi hongtîr nôk atih, tiin ka sabei sikin.
23 Epaphras greets you (my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus),

25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit! Amen.
Ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista moroina hah nin renga nin kôm om rese.
