Philemon 1

1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon our beloved and fellow-worker,

൧ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനുവേണ്ടി തടവുകാരനായ പൗലൊസും, സഹോദരനായ തിമൊഥെയൊസും, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയനും കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനുമായ ഫിലേമോൻ എന്ന നിനക്കും

2 and Apphia the beloved, and Archippus our fellow-soldier, and the assembly in your house:

൨സഹോദരിയായ അപ്പിയയ്ക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹഭടനായ അർക്കിപ്പൊസിനും നിന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ സഭയ്ക്കും എഴുതുന്നത്:

3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

൩നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

4 I give thanks to my God, always making mention of you in my prayers,

5 hearing of your love and faith that you have to the Lord Jesus and toward all the holy ones,

൫ക്രിസ്തുയേശു നിമിത്തം നമ്മിലുള്ള എല്ലാ നന്മയുടെയും പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടായ്മ സഫലമാകേണ്ടതിന്,

6 that the fellowship of your faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that [is] in you toward Christ Jesus;

൬എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ നിന്നെ ഓർത്ത് എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

7 for we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the yearnings of the holy ones have been refreshed through you, brother.

൭സഹോദരാ, വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങൾക്ക് നീ ഉന്മേഷം പകർന്നതുകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് വളരെ സന്തോഷവും ആശ്വാസവും ഉണ്ടായി.

8 For this reason, having in Christ much boldness to command you that which is fit—

൮ആകയാൽ ഉചിതമായത് നിന്നോട് കല്പിക്കുവാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ എനിക്ക് വളരെ ധൈര്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും,

9 because of the love I rather plead, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;

൯പൗലൊസ് എന്ന വയസ്സനും ഇപ്പോൾ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനുവേണ്ടി തടവുകാരനുമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഞാൻ സ്നേഹം നിമിത്തം അപേക്ഷിക്കുകയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നത്.

10 I beg you concerning my child—whom I begot in my bonds—Onesimus,

11 who once was to you unprofitable, and now is profitable to me and to you,

൧൧അവൻ മുമ്പെ നിനക്ക് പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്തവൻ ആയിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കും എനിക്കും പ്രയോജനമുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.

12 whom I sent again to you—he who is my own heart,

൧൨എനിക്ക് പ്രാണപ്രിയനായ അവനെ ഞാൻ മടക്കി അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13 whom I intended to retain to myself, that in your behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,

൧൩സുവിശേഷം നിമിത്തമുള്ള തടവിൽ എന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അവനെ നിനക്ക് പകരം എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ തന്നെ നിർത്തിക്കൊൾവാൻ എനിക്ക് ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

14 but apart from your mind I willed to do nothing, so that your good deed may not be as of necessity, but of willingness,

15 for perhaps because of this he departed for an hour, that you may have him continuously, (aiōnios g166)

16 no longer as a servant, but above a servant—a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the LORD!

൧൬അവൻ ഇനി ദാസനല്ല, ദാസനേക്കാൾ ഉപരി പ്രിയ സഹോദരൻ തന്നെ; അവൻ വിശേഷാൽ എനിക്ക് പ്രിയൻ എങ്കിൽ നിനക്ക് ജഡപ്രകാരവും കർത്താവിലും എത്ര അധികം?

17 If, then, you have fellowship with me, receive him as me,

൧൭ആകയാൽ നീ എന്നെ കൂട്ടാളി എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവനെ എന്നെപ്പോലെ സ്വീകരിക്കുക.

18 and if he did hurt to you, or owes anything, charge this to me;

19 I, Paul, wrote with my hand, I will repay; besides, that I may not say that you also owe to me yourself.

20 Yes, brother, may I have profit of you in the LORD; refresh my yearnings in the LORD;

൨൦അതേ സഹോദരാ, നിന്നിൽനിന്ന് കർത്താവിൽ ഒരു ഉപകാരം എനിക്ക് ആവശ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന് ഉന്മേഷം പകരുക.

21 I wrote to you having been confident in your obedience, having known that you will also do above what I may say;

൨൧നിന്റെ അനുസരണത്തെപ്പറ്റി എനിക്ക് നിശ്ചയം ഉണ്ട്; ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതിലുമധികം നീ ചെയ്യും എന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു ഞാൻ എഴുതുന്നത്.

22 and at the same time also prepare for me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be granted to you.

23 Epaphras greets you (my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus),
