< Philemon 1 >
1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon our beloved and fellow-worker,
Yesusi Kirstossa gish qachettida tappe Phawulossapenne nu isha Xiintossape nu siqqo isha gididi nunara issife oothiza Pllimonas.
2 and Apphia the beloved, and Archippus our fellow-soldier, and the assembly in your house:
Ne keeththan shiiqqiza ammaniza asasinne nu michchiyo Ampibyas qassekka nunara issife Kirstossa wotadara gidida Arkiiphasses;
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Nu Aawa Xoossafe nu Goda YesusiKiristossape keeyatethinne sarotethi intes gido.
4 I give thanks to my God, always making mention of you in my prayers,
Ta ta wossan nena qopashe wuriso wode Xoossa galatayss.
5 hearing of your love and faith that you have to the Lord Jesus and toward all the holy ones,
Gaasoykka ne Xoossa asa siiqizaysanne Goda Yesusi Kiristossan ne ammanizaysa ta siyadis.
6 that the fellowship of your faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that [is] in you toward Christ Jesus;
Nuni Kiristossas gididaysanne nuus diza loo7o yoy wuri qonccen eretana mala nekka ne ammano hara asas bessana mala ta nees miina wossayss.
7 for we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the yearnings of the holy ones have been refreshed through you, brother.
Ta ishazo! ne hanon Xoossa asa wozinay ooraxxida gish ne siiqqoy ta wozina keehi miinisides.
8 For this reason, having in Christ much boldness to command you that which is fit—
Hessa gish ne oothanas besizayssa oothana mala nena azazanas taas Kirstosan xalateth deesikkoshin.
9 because of the love I rather plead, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;
Gido attin ta nena azazanape siiqora wossayss. Gaasoykka tani Yesusii Kiristosa gish qachistada qasho keeththan diza phawulosakko.
10 I beg you concerning my child—whom I begot in my bonds—Onesimus,
Ta nena wossizay ta qasho keeththan dashe Yesusi Kirstosan yeellida na Anasimossa gishaskko.
11 who once was to you unprofitable, and now is profitable to me and to you,
Anasmossay hayssafe kasse nena go7iibeyna shin ha7i gidiko nenakka tanakka go7izadekko.
12 whom I sent again to you—he who is my own heart,
Ta ha7i iza neekko zara yedadis. Ta neekko yedizay iza gidontta ta wozina neekko zara yediza mala qoodayss.
13 whom I intended to retain to myself, that in your behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,
Mishiracho qaala gaasotetha ta haan qachista dishin ne tana ootha maadana exxa izi tanara deyidakko tana ufaysses shin.
14 but apart from your mind I willed to do nothing, so that your good deed may not be as of necessity, but of willingness,
Gido attin ne loo7o oothoy ne dosanipe attin wolliqara gidonta mala gaada nena ooychonta aykokka oothana koyabeykke.
15 for perhaps because of this he departed for an hour, that you may have him continuously, (aiōnios )
Anasmosay hano gakanaas neppe gutha wode shaketikokka oone erizay hayssafe guye wuriso wode nenara daana dandda7ees. (aiōnios )
16 no longer as a servant, but above a servant—a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the LORD!
Hayssafe guye izi nenara daanay aylle mala gidontta ayllefe adhidi nees asho isha mala gidana. Izi taas dosetida ishakko. Gido attin izi nena oothi go7ana asi gidida gishinne izi nees Kirstossa baggara isha gidida gish nees keehi dosetidade gidana.
17 If, then, you have fellowship with me, receive him as me,
Nuus diza isipetetha gaason ne tana nees isha mala qoodiza giidikko tana ne mokka ekiiza mala izakka mokka ekka.
18 and if he did hurt to you, or owes anything, charge this to me;
Izi ne bolla gathida qohoy dikko woykko ne accoy iza bolla dikko iza accoza ta bolla tayba.
19 I, Paul, wrote with my hand, I will repay; besides, that I may not say that you also owe to me yourself.
Heko ta Pawulossay “Iza accoza ta nees qanxana” gaada ta kushera xafadis. Gidikokka ne Kiristossa ammaniday ta baggara gidida gish haray attoshin nekka taas qanxana accoy dizade gididayssa ta nena erissanas koshena.
20 Yes, brother, may I have profit of you in the LORD; refresh my yearnings in the LORD;
Hi7a ta ishazo heesa loo7o ootho ne taas oothana mala Goda sunthan Kirstossa gish gaada ne ta wozina shempisana mala nena wossayss.
21 I wrote to you having been confident in your obedience, having known that you will also do above what I may say;
Ta nees hayssa xahaaththaiday ne taas azazistanaysa ammanadako. Ta nena ooychidayssafe ne aatha oothonayssa ta erayss.
22 and at the same time also prepare for me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be granted to you.
Xoossi inte wossa siydi ta inteko yanadan oothana mala taas ufayssi diza gish ta baada intekon shempanaso taas hayana giigissa.
23 Epaphras greets you (my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus),

25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with your spirit! Amen.
Goda Yesusi Kistossa kiiyatethi intenara gido.
