Numbers 1
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose in der Wüste Sinai im Versammlungszelt am ersten des zweiten Monats im zweiten Jahre nach ihrem Auszug aus Ägyptenland, und Er sprach:
2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names—every male by their counted heads;
Nehmet auf die Kopfzahl der ganzen Gemeinde der Söhne Israels nach ihren Familien, nach ihrer Väter Häusern nach der Zahl der Namen aller Männlichen nach ihren Köpfen,
3 from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host in Israel, you number them by their hosts, you and Aaron;
Vom Sohne von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, alle, die im Heer ausziehen in Israel. Mustert sie, du und Aharon, nach ihren Heeren.
4 and with you there is a man for a tribe, each is a head of the house of his fathers.
Und mit euch sei je ein Mann aus dem Stamme, der Mann, der das Haupt des Hauses seiner Väter ist.
5 And these [are] the names of the men who stand with you: for Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;
Und dies sind die Namen der Männer, die bei euch stehen sollen: Von Ruben Elizur, Schedeurs Sohn.
6 for Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;
Von Simeon: Schelumiel, der Sohn Zurischaddais;
7 for Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;
Von Judah: Nachschon, der Sohn Amminadabs;
8 for Issachar, Nathaneel son of Zuar;
Von Issaschar: Nathaneel, der Sohn Zuars;
9 for Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;
Von Sebulun: Eliab, Chelons Sohn;
10 for the sons of Joseph: for Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;
Von den Söhnen Josephs für Ephraim: Elischama, der Sohn Ammihuds; für Menascheh: Gamliel, der Sohn Pedahzurs;
11 for Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;
Von Benjamin: Abidan, Sohn Gideonis;
12 for Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;
Von Dan: Achieser, der Sohn Ammischaddais;
13 for Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;
Von Ascher: Pagiel, der Sohn Ochrans.
14 for Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;
Von Gad: Eljasaph, der Sohn Deguels.
15 for Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”

16 These [are] those called of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers; they [are] heads of the thousands of Israel.
Das sind die aus der Gemeinde Berufenen, die Fürsten der Stämme ihrer Väter, die Häupter der Tausende Israels sind sie.
17 And Moses takes—Aaron also—these men, who were defined by name,
Und Mose und Aharon nahmen diese Männer, die mit Namen benannt sind,
18 and they assembled all the congregation on the first of the second month, and they declare their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names from a son of twenty years and upward, by their counted heads,
Und versammelten am ersten des zweiten Monats die ganze Gemeinde, und sie ließen sich nach ihren Familien, nach den Häusern ihrer Väter, der Zahl der Namen und nach den Köpfen von dem zwanzigsten Jahr an und darüber in die Geburtslisten eintragen,
19 as YHWH has commanded Moses; and he numbers them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte; und er musterte sie in der Wüste Sinai.
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, by their counted heads, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Und es waren die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels, ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien den Häusern ihrer Väter, nach der Zahl ihrer Namen nach ihren Köpfen, alles Männliche von zwanzig Jahren und aufwärts, alle, die im Heer auszogen.
21 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Reuben, are forty-six thousand and five hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Ruben sechsundvierzigtausendfünfhundert.
22 Of the sons of Simeon—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, its numbered ones in the number of names, by their counted heads, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Simeons: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach den Häusern ihrer Väter, ihre Gemusterten nach der Zahl der Namen, nach ihren Köpfen, alle Männlichen von zwanzig Jahren und aufwärts, alle, die im Heer auszogen,
23 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Simeon, [are] fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Simeons neunundfünfzigtausenddreihundert.
24 Of the sons of Gad—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Gads: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl von Namen, vom zwanzigsten Jahre und aufwärts, alle, die im Heer auszogen,
25 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Gad, [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
Ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Gad fünfundvierzigtausendsechshundertfünfzig.
26 Of the sons of Judah—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Judahs: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl von Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und aufwärts, alle im Heere ausziehend,
27 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Judah, [are] seventy-four thousand and six hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten nach dem Stamm Judah vierundsiebzigtausendsechshundert.
28 Of the sons of Issachar—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Issaschars: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahre an und aufwärts, alle, die im Heere ausziehen,
29 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Issachar, [are] fifty-four thousand and four hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten nach dem Stamme Issaschar waren vierundfünfzigtausendvierhundert.
30 Of the sons of Zebulun—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Sebuluns: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und aufwärts, alle, die im Heer ausziehen,
31 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Zebulun, [are] fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten vom Stamme Sebulun waren siebenundfünfzigtausendvierhundert.
32 Of the sons of Joseph: of the sons of Ephraim—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Josephs, für die Söhne Ephraims: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und aufwärts, alle, die in dem Heer ausziehen,
33 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Ephraim, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten für den Stamm Ephraim vierzigtausendfünfhundert.
34 Of the sons of Manasseh—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Menaschehs: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und darüber, alle, die im Heer ausziehen,
35 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Manasseh, [are] thirty-two thousand and two hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten für den Stamm Menascheh zweiunddreißigtausendzweihundert.
36 Of the sons of Benjamin—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Benjamins: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und aufwärts, alle, die im Heer ausziehen,
37 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Benjamin, [are] thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

38 Of the sons of Dan—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Dans: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und darüber, alle, die im Heere ausziehen,
39 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Dan, [are] sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten für den Stamm Dan zweiundsechzigtausendsiebenhundert.
40 Of the sons of Asher—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Aschers: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und darüber, alle, die im Heer ausziehen,
41 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Asher, [are] forty-one thousand and five hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten für den Stamm Ascher einundvierzigtausendfünfhundert.
42 Of the sons of Naphtali—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—
Für die Söhne Naphthalis: ihre Geburten nach ihren Familien, nach dem Haus ihrer Väter, in der Zahl der Namen vom zwanzigsten Jahr und darüber, alle, die im Heer ausziehen,
43 their numbered ones, for the tribe of Naphtali, [are] fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
Ihre Gemusterten für den Stamm Naphthali dreiundfünfzigtausendvierhundert.
44 These [are] those numbered, whom Moses numbered—Aaron also—and the princes of Israel, twelve men, each one has been [the representative] for the house of his fathers.
Das sind die Gemusterten, die Mose und Aharon und die Fürsten Israels musterten, zwölf Männer, ein Mann für das Haus seiner Väter waren es.
45 And they are, all those numbered of the sons of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host in Israel,
Und es waren aller Gemusterten der Söhne Israels nach dem Haus ihrer Väter vom zwanzigsten Jahr und darüber, alle, die im Heer ausziehen in Israel,
46 indeed, all those numbered are six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
Und aller Gemusterten waren sechshunderttausend und dreitausendfünfhundert- fünfzig.
47 And the Levites, for the tribe of their fathers, have not numbered themselves in their midst,
Und die Leviten nach ihrer Väter Stamm wurden nicht in ihrer Mitte gemustert.
48 seeing YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
49 “Only the tribe of Levi you do not number, and you do not take up their census in the midst of the sons of Israel;
Nur den Stamm Levi sollst du nicht mustern und ihre Kopfzahl nicht aufnehmen inmitten der Söhne Israels;
50 and you, appoint the Levites over the Dwelling Place of the Testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all that it has; they carry the Dwelling Place, and all its vessels, and they serve it; and they encamp around the Dwelling Place.
Und du sollst die Leviten mustern über die Wohnung des Zeugnisses und über all deren Geräte und über alles, was zu ihr gehört. Sie sollen die Wohnung tragen und all ihre Geräte, und Dienst bei ihr tun, und rings um die Wohnung sich lagern.
51 And in the journeying of the Dwelling Place, the Levites take it down, and in the encamping of the Dwelling Place, the Levites raise it up; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.”
Und wenn die Wohnung aufbricht, sollen die Leviten sie abnehmen, und wenn die Wohnung sich lagert, sollen die Leviten sie aufrichten, und der Fremde, der nahet, soll sterben.
52 And the sons of Israel have encamped, each by his camp, and each by his standard, by their hosts;
Und die Söhne Israels sollen sich lagern, jeder Mann bei seinem Lager und jeder Mann bei seinem Banner nach ihren Heerscharen;
53 and the Levites encamp around the Dwelling Place of the Testimony; and there is no wrath on the congregation of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have kept the charge of the Dwelling Place of the Testimony.
Und die Leviten sollen rings um die Wohnung des Zeugnisses lagern, auf daß keine Entrüstung sei über die Gemeinde der Söhne Israels, und die Leviten sollen die Hut der Wohnung des Zeugnisses halten.
54 And the sons of Israel do according to all that YHWH has commanded Moses; so they have done.
Und die Söhne Israels taten nach allem, was Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte; also taten sie.
