Numbers 8
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 “Speak to Aaron, and you have said to him: In your causing the lights to go up, the seven lights give light toward the front of the face of the lampstand.”
Rede zu Aharon und sprich zu ihm: Wenn du die Lampen aufsteckst, an der Vorderseite des Leuchters sollen die sieben Lampen leuchten.
3 And Aaron does so; he has caused its lights to go up toward the front of the face of the lampstand, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Und Aharon tat also, und steckte seine Lampen auf die Vorderseite des Leuchters, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
4 And this [is] the work of the lampstand: beaten work of gold; from its thigh to its flower it [is] beaten work; as the appearance which YHWH showed Moses, so he has made the lampstand.
Und das Werk des Leuchters war dies: getriebenes Gold an seinem Schaft und an seinen Blumen getrieben; nach dem Gesicht, das Jehovah den Mose hatte sehen lassen, so machte er den Leuchter.
5 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
6 “Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and you have cleansed them.
Nimm die Leviten aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels und reinige sie.
7 And thus you do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle waters of atonement on them, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,
Und tue also mit ihnen, sie zu reinigen: Sprenge auf sie Wasser der Entsündigung; und sie sollen das Schermesser über ihr ganzes Fleisch gehen lassen, und ihre Kleider waschen, und sich reinigen;
8 and have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, and you take a second bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering;
Und sollen nehmen einen Farren, das Junge vom Rind, und sein Speiseopfer, Semmelmehl mit Öl vermischt, und einen zweiten jungen Farren vom Rind sollst du nehmen zum Sündopfer.
9 and you have brought the Levites near before the Tent of Meeting, and you have assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel,
Und lasse die Leviten vor das Versammlungszelt nahen, und versammle die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels.
10 and you have brought the Levites near before YHWH, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,
Und lasse die Leviten vor Jehovah nahen, und die Söhne Israels ihre Hände auf die Leviten legen.
11 and Aaron has waved the Levites [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, from the sons of Israel, and they have been [consecrated] for doing the service of YHWH.
Und Aharon webe die Leviten als Webe vor Jehovah von den Söhnen Israels, auf daß sie den Dienst Jehovahs dienen.
12 And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make one a sin-offering and one a burnt-offering to YHWH, to atone for the Levites.
Und die Leviten sollen ihre Hände auf den Kopf der Farren legen, und du sollst den einen als Sündopfer und den andern als Brandopfer machen, die Leviten zu sühnen.
13 And you have caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and have waved them [as] a wave-offering to YHWH;
Und laß die Leviten vor Aharon und vor seine Söhne stehen und sollst sie weben als Webe für Jehovah;
14 and you have separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;
Und sollst die Leviten aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels scheiden, auf daß die Leviten Mein seien.
15 and afterward the Levites come in to serve the Tent of Meeting, and you have cleansed them, and have waved them [as] a wave-offering.
Und danach sollen die Leviten eingehen, in dem Versammlungszelt zu dienen. Und du sollst sie reinigen und als Webe weben.
16 For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who opens any womb—the firstborn of all; I have taken them for Myself from the sons of Israel;
Denn gegeben, gegeben sind sie Mir aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels statt allem, was den Mutterschoß bricht, für alle Erstgeburt an den Söhnen Israels habe Ich sie Mir genommen.
17 for every firstborn among the sons of Israel [is] Mine, among man and among beast; in the day of My striking every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;
Denn Mein ist alle Erstgeburt unter den Söhnen Israels vom Menschen und vom Vieh. Am Tage, da Ich alle Erstgeburt im Lande Ägypten schlug, habe Ich sie Mir geheiligt;
18 and I take the Levites instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel.
Und habe die Leviten statt aller Erstgeburt unter den Söhnen Israels genommen;
19 And I give the Levites [as] gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel drawing near to the holy place.”
Und gegeben die Leviten Aharon und seinen Söhnen als Gegebene aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels, zu dienen den Dienst der Söhne Israels im Versammlungszelt und zu sühnen über die Söhne Israels, daß keine Plage sei über die Söhne Israels, wenn die Söhne Israels zu dem Heiligtum herzutreten.
20 And Moses does—Aaron also, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel—to the Levites according to all that YHWH has commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so the sons of Israel have done to them.
Und Mose und Aharon und die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels taten den Leviten nach allem, was Jehovah dem Mose über die Leviten geboten hatte, so taten ihnen die Söhne Israels.
21 And the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waves them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, and Aaron makes atonement for them to cleanse them,
Und die Leviten entsündigten sich, und wuschen ihre Kleider, und Aharon webte sie als Webe vor Jehovah, und Aharon sühnte sie, um sie zu reinigen.
22 and afterward the Levites have gone in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as YHWH has commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.
Und danach kamen die Leviten hinein, ihren Dienst zu dienen im Versammlungszelt vor Aharon und vor seinen Söhnen. Wie Jehovah Mose über die Leviten geboten hatte, also taten sie ihnen.
23 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
24 “This [is] who [is] for the Levites: from a son of twenty-five years and upward he goes in to serve the host in the service of the Tent of Meeting,
Dies ist für die Leviten: Von dem fünfundzwanzigsten Jahre und aufwärts rückte er aus in das Heer in den Dienst beim Versammlungszelt.
25 and from a son of fifty years he returns from the host of the service, and does not serve anymore,
Und von fünfzig Jahren an trete er aus dem Heere des Dienstes zurück und diene nicht mehr;
26 and he has ministered with his brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to keep the charge, and does not do service; thus you do to the Levites concerning their charge.”
Und er mag Dienst tun mit seinen Brüdern im Versammlungszelt, um der Hut zu warten. Keinen Dienst soll er aber dienen. Also sollst du den Leviten tun in ihrer Hut.
