Numbers 8
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
I mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:
2 “Speak to Aaron, and you have said to him: In your causing the lights to go up, the seven lights give light toward the front of the face of the lampstand.”
Mluv k Aronovi a rci jemu: Když rozsvěcovati budeš lampy, ven z svícnu sedm lamp svítiti má.
3 And Aaron does so; he has caused its lights to go up toward the front of the face of the lampstand, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
I učinil Aron tak; ven z svícnu světlo od sebe dávající rozsvítil lampy jeho, jakož přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.
4 And this [is] the work of the lampstand: beaten work of gold; from its thigh to its flower it [is] beaten work; as the appearance which YHWH showed Moses, so he has made the lampstand.
Bylo pak dílo svícnu takové: Z taženého zlata byl všecken, až i sloupec jeho i květové jeho z taženého zlata byli; podlé podobenství toho, kteréž ukázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi, tak udělal svícen.
5 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Mluvil také Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:
6 “Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and you have cleansed them.
Vezmi Levíty z prostředku synů Izraelských, a očisť je.
7 And thus you do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle waters of atonement on them, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,
Tímto pak způsobem očišťovati je budeš: Pokropíš jich vodou očištění; oholí všecko tělo své, a zperou roucha svá, a očištěni budou.
8 and have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, and you take a second bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering;
Potom vezmou volka mladého a obět suchou z mouky bělné, olejem skropené; a druhého volka mladého vezmeš k oběti za hřích.
9 and you have brought the Levites near before the Tent of Meeting, and you have assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel,
Tedy přistoupiti rozkážeš Levítům před stánek úmluvy, a shromáždíš všecko množství synů Izraelských.
10 and you have brought the Levites near before YHWH, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,
Postavíš Levíty před Hospodinem, a vloží synové Izraelští ruce své na Levíty.
11 and Aaron has waved the Levites [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, from the sons of Israel, and they have been [consecrated] for doing the service of YHWH.
A obětovati bude Aron Levíty v obět před Hospodinem od synů Izraelských, aby vykonávali službu Hospodinu.
12 And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make one a sin-offering and one a burnt-offering to YHWH, to atone for the Levites.
Levítové pak vloží ruce své na hlavy těch volků; a obětovati budeš jednoho za hřích, a druhého v obět zápalnou Hospodinu k očištění Levítů.
13 And you have caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and have waved them [as] a wave-offering to YHWH;
A postavíš Levíty před Aronem a před syny jeho, a obětovati je budeš v obět Hospodinu.
14 and you have separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;
I oddělíš Levíty z prostředku synů Izraelských, aby moji byli Levítové.
15 and afterward the Levites come in to serve the Tent of Meeting, and you have cleansed them, and have waved them [as] a wave-offering.
Potom pak přijdou Levítové, aby přisluhovali při stánku úmluvy, když bys očistil je a obětoval v obět.
16 For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who opens any womb—the firstborn of all; I have taken them for Myself from the sons of Israel;
Nebo vlastně dáni jsou mi z prostředku synů Izraelských za všecky otvírající život, za prvorozené ze všech synů Izraelských vzal jsem je sobě.
17 for every firstborn among the sons of Israel [is] Mine, among man and among beast; in the day of My striking every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;
Nebo mé jest všecko prvorozené mezi syny Izraelskými, tak z lidí jako z hovad; od toho dne, jakž jsem pobil všecko prvorozené v zemi Egyptské, posvětil jsem jich sobě.
18 and I take the Levites instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel.
Vzal jsem pak Levíty za všecky prvorozené synů Izraelských.
19 And I give the Levites [as] gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel drawing near to the holy place.”
A dal jsem Levíty darem Aronovi i synům jeho z prostředku synů Izraelských, aby konali službu místo synů Izraelských při stánku úmluvy, a očišťovali od hříchů syny Izraelské; a tak nepřijde na syny Izraelské rána, kteráž by přišla, kdyby přistupovali synové Izraelští k svatyni.
20 And Moses does—Aaron also, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel—to the Levites according to all that YHWH has commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so the sons of Israel have done to them.
I učinili Mojžíš a Aron i všecko množství synů Izraelských při Levítích všecko to, což přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi o Levítích; tak s nimi učinili synové Izraelští.
21 And the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waves them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, and Aaron makes atonement for them to cleanse them,
A očistili se Levítové a zeprali roucha svá; a obětoval je Aron v obět před Hospodinem, a očistil je Aron, aby byli čisti.
22 and afterward the Levites have gone in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as YHWH has commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.
Potom teprv přistoupili Levítové k vykonávání služby své při stánku úmluvy, před Aronem i před syny jeho; jakž přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi o Levítích, tak s nimi učinili.
23 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
I mluvil opět Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:
24 “This [is] who [is] for the Levites: from a son of twenty-five years and upward he goes in to serve the host in the service of the Tent of Meeting,
I toto k Levítům přináleží: V pětmecítma letech zstáří a výše jeden každý z nich přistoupí, a postaví se k ochotnému práce konání v službě při stánku úmluvy.
25 and from a son of fifty years he returns from the host of the service, and does not serve anymore,
V padesáti pak letech přestane od práce služby té, a více přisluhovati nebude.
26 and he has ministered with his brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to keep the charge, and does not do service; thus you do to the Levites concerning their charge.”
Ale přisluhovati bude bratřím svým při stánku úmluvy stráž držícím, sám pak služeb konati nebude. Tak učiníš s Levíty při pracech jejich.
