< Numbers 6 >

1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When a man or woman does extraordinarily by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to YHWH,
“Wuo kod jo-Israel kendo inyisgi kama: ‘Ka dichwo kata dhako dwaro chiwo singruok makende, ma en singruok makende ne Jehova Nyasaye kaka ja-Nazir,

5 All [the] days of the vow of his separation a razor does not pass over his head; he is holy until the fullness of the days [in] which he separates himself to YHWH; the upper part of the hair of his head has grown up.
“‘E thuoloni duto ma en e bwo singruok mar bedo tenge, wiye ok noliel gi wembe. Enorite maler ne Jehova Nyasaye nyaka ndalone mag kwongʼruok norum; kendo enopidh yie wiye maboyo.

“‘E thuoloni duto ma en e bwo singruok mar bedo tenge ne Jehova Nyasaye, ok onego osud machiegni gi ringre ngʼama otho.
7 for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister—he does not become unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God [is] on his head;

E kindeno duto ma okete tenge, en ngʼama owal ne Jehova Nyasaye.
9 And when the dead dies beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he has defiled the head of his separation, then he has shaved his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shaves it,
“‘Ka dipo ni ngʼato otho bute, mi yie wiye mosewal ogak, to nyaka oliel yie wiyeno chiengʼ mar abiriyo mipwodhee.
10 and on the eighth day he brings in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,

11 and the priest has prepared one for a sin-offering and one for a burnt-offering, and has made atonement for him because of that which he has sinned by the body, and he has hallowed his head on that day;

12 and he has separated to YHWH the days of his separation, and he has brought in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days are fallen, for his separation has been defiled.
E kindeno duto mokete tenge nyaka ochiwre ne Jehova Nyasaye kendo okel nyaim ma hike achiel kaka misango michiwo mar pwodhruok e ketho. To kinde mane osetieko kowale ok nokwan nikech yie wiye mane nyiso ni owaleno ne odoko mogak.
13 And this [is] the law of the Nazarite: in the day of the fullness of the days of his separation, he is brought to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
“‘Koro mano e chik momi ja-Nazir ka kinde mokete tenge orumo kendo nyaka kele e dhoranga Hemb Romo.
14 and he has brought his offering near to YHWH—one male lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one female lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings,
E dhorangach kanyo ema nyaka ochiwe misangone ne Jehova Nyasaye ma gin: nyaim ma hike achiel maonge songa kaka misango miwangʼo pep, sibini ma hike achiel maonge songa kaka misango migologo richo; im maonge songa kaka chiwo mar lalruok,

16 And the priest has brought [them] near before YHWH, and has made his sin-offering and his burnt-offering;
“‘Jadolo nochiwgi e nyim Jehova Nyasaye kaka misango mar pwodhruok e richo kod misango miwangʼo pep.
17 and he makes the ram [as] a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, besides the basket of unleavened things; and the priest has made its present and its drink-offering.
Bende nochiw okapu man-gi makati ma ok oketie thowi kod im kaka misango mar lalruok ne Jehova Nyasaye, kaachiel gi chiwo mar cham kod misango miolo piny.
18 And the Nazarite has shaved (at the opening of the Tent of Meeting) the head of his separation, and has taken the hair of the head of his separation, and has put [it] on the fire which [is] under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.
“‘Bangʼe e dhoranga Hemb Romo, ja-Nazirno nyaka liel yie wiye mane osewal tenge. Enokaw yie wiyeno mi olute e mach mantiere e bwo misango mar chiwo mar lalruok.
19 And the priest has taken the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and has put [them] on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving [the hair of] his separation;
“‘Bangʼ ka ja-Nazirno oselielo yie wiye mane osewal tenge, jadolo nomiye bad im mosechwaki, kod kek kod chapat mogoloe okapu, mago molos ma ok oketie thowi.
20 and the priest has waved them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH; it [is] holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the raised-offering; and afterward the Nazarite drinks wine.
Bangʼ mano jadolo noliergi e nyim Jehova Nyasaye kaka misango mifwayo; kaachiel gi agoko kod em mane olier nimar gin gik mopwodhi kendo gin mek jadolo. Bangʼ timo kamano, ja-Nazir koro nyalo mana madho divai.
21 This [is] the law of the Nazarite who vows his offering to YHWH for his separation, apart from that which his hand attains; according to his vow which he vows so he does by the law of his separation.”
“‘Mano e chik momako ja-Nazir mosekwongʼore kaluwore gi pwodhruok mare kendo mano e misango manyaka otimne Jehova Nyasaye kaachiel gi gimoro monyalo chiwo. Nyaka ochop singo mar kwongʼruok mane ochiwo, kaluwore gi chik mar ja-Nazir.’”
22 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
23 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus you bless the sons of Israel, saying to them:
“Nyis Harun kod yawuote ni, ‘Ma e kaka onego ugwedh jo-Israel. Wachnegi kama:

27 And they have put My Name on the sons of Israel, and I bless them.”
“Kamano e kaka ginihul nyinga kuom jo-Israel, kendo anagwedhgi.”
