Numbers 36
1 And the heads of the fathers of the families of the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, come near and speak before Moses and before the princes, heads of the fathers of the sons of Israel,

2 and say, “YHWH commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel, and my lord has been commanded by YHWH to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
Wɔkae se, “Awurade hyɛɛ wo se bɔ ntonto na gyina so kyekyɛ asase no ma Israelfo no. Awurade ɔhyɛɛ wo se fa yɛn nuabarima Selofehad agyapade ma ne mmabea.
3 Now [if] they have been [given] to one from the sons of the [other] tribes of the sons of Israel for wives, and their inheritance has been withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers, and has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and it is withdrawn from the lot of our inheritance,
Na sɛ ɛba sɛ wɔn mu bi kɔware wɔ abusua foforo mu a, ɔde asase a wɔde ama no no bɛkɔ aware. Sɛ ɛba saa a, yɛn abusua no asase a wɔde ama yɛn no so bɛtew.
4 and if it is the Jubilee of the sons of Israel, then their inheritance has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and their inheritance is withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”

5 And Moses commands the sons of Israel by the command of YHWH, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph is speaking correctly;

6 this [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those good in their eyes let them be for wives; only, let them be for wives to a family of the tribe of their fathers;
Nea Awurade rehyɛ ama Selofehad mmabea no ni: Wotumi ware ɔbarima biara a wɔpɛ a ofi wɔn agya abusuakuw mu.
7 and the inheritance of the sons of Israel does not turn around from tribe to tribe; for each of the sons of Israel cleaves to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
Ɛnsɛ sɛ Israel agyapade biara fi abusuakuw bi mu kɔ abusuakuw foforo nsam, efisɛ ɛsɛ sɛ Israel agyanom abusuakuw biara agyapade tena hɔ sɛnea ɛte no.
8 And every daughter possessing an inheritance from the tribes of the sons of Israel is for a wife to one from the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel each possess the inheritance of his fathers,
Ɛsɛ sɛ mmabea a wɔwɔ Israel mmusuakuw mu nyinaa a agyapade tumi kɔ wɔn nsam no wareware wɔ wɔn agyanom mmusuakuw mu na Israel abusuakuw biara agyanom agyapade amfi wɔn abusuakuw mu.
9 and the inheritance does not turn around from [one] tribe to another tribe; for each of the tribes of the sons of Israel cleaves to his inheritance.”

10 As YHWH has commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad have done,
Selofehad mmabea no yɛɛ sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no.
11 and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, daughters of Zelophehad, are for wives to the sons of their fathers’ brothers;
Mahla, Tirsa, Hogla, Milka ne Noa nyinaa wareware wɔn agyanom nuabarimanom mma.
12 they have been for wives [to men] from the families of the sons of Manasseh, son of Joseph, and their inheritance is with the tribe of the family of their father.
Wɔwarewaree wɔ Yosef babarima Manase mmusua mu enti wɔn agyapade no kaa wɔn abusuakuw no mu.
13 These [are] the commands and the judgments which YHWH has commanded by the hand of Moses concerning the sons of Israel, in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho.
