Numbers 36

1 And the heads of the fathers of the families of the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, come near and speak before Moses and before the princes, heads of the fathers of the sons of Israel,

Und es nahten die Häupter der Väter der Familie der Söhne Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, des Sohnes Menaschehs, von den Familien der Söhne Josephs, und sie redeten vor Mose und vor den Fürsten, den Häuptern der Väter der Söhne Israels,

2 and say, “YHWH commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel, and my lord has been commanded by YHWH to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

Und sie sprachen: Meinem Herrn hat Jehovah geboten, das Land den Söhnen Israels durch das Los zum Erbe zu geben; und meinem Herrn ward geboten von Jehovah, das Erbe unseres Bruders Zelaphechad seinen Töchtern zu geben.

3 Now [if] they have been [given] to one from the sons of the [other] tribes of the sons of Israel for wives, and their inheritance has been withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers, and has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and it is withdrawn from the lot of our inheritance,

Werden sie nun einem von den Söhnen der Stämme der Söhne Israels zu Weibern, da wird ihr Erbe von dem Erbe unserer Väter weggenommen und dem Erbe des Stammes, in dem sie dann sind, hinzugetan, und von dem Los unseres Erbes weggenommen.

4 and if it is the Jubilee of the sons of Israel, then their inheritance has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and their inheritance is withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”

Und wenn nun das Jubeljahr der Söhne Israels ist, so wird ihr Erbe zum Erbe des Stammes, in dem sie sind, hinzugetan und vom Erbe des Stammes unserer Väter wird ihr Erbe weggenommen.

5 And Moses commands the sons of Israel by the command of YHWH, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph is speaking correctly;

Und Mose gebot den Söhnen Israels nach dem Munde Jehovahs und sprach: Der Stamm der Söhne Josephs hat recht geredet.

6 this [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those good in their eyes let them be for wives; only, let them be for wives to a family of the tribe of their fathers;

Das ist das Wort, das Jehovah den Töchtern Zelaphechads gebietet und spricht: Sie mögen denen, die in ihren Augen gut sind, zu Weibern werden; nur daß sie denen zu Weibern werden, die aus der Familie des Stammes ihres Vaters sind.

7 and the inheritance of the sons of Israel does not turn around from tribe to tribe; for each of the sons of Israel cleaves to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

Auf daß nicht ein Erbe der Söhne Israels von Stamm zu Stamm herumziehe, denn es soll jeder Mann der Söhne Israels dem Erbe vom Stamme seiner Väter anhangen.

8 And every daughter possessing an inheritance from the tribes of the sons of Israel is for a wife to one from the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel each possess the inheritance of his fathers,

Und jede Tochter, die ein Erbe von den Stämmen der Söhne Israels erblich besitzt, soll nur einem aus der Familie von ihres Vaters Stamm zum Weibe werden, auf daß jeder Mann von den Söhnen Israels das Erbe seiner Väter erblich besitze.

9 and the inheritance does not turn around from [one] tribe to another tribe; for each of the tribes of the sons of Israel cleaves to his inheritance.”

Und nicht ein Erbe von einem Stamm zu einem anderen Stamm umherziehe, sondern jeder Mann der Stämme der Söhne Israels seinem Erbe anhange.

10 As YHWH has commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad have done,

Wie Jehovah Mose geboten hatte, so taten die Töchter Zelaphechads;

11 and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, daughters of Zelophehad, are for wives to the sons of their fathers’ brothers;

Und Machlah, Thirzah und Choglah und Milkah und Noah, Zelaphechads Töchter, wurden den Söhnen ihrer Oheime zu Weibern.

12 they have been for wives [to men] from the families of the sons of Manasseh, son of Joseph, and their inheritance is with the tribe of the family of their father.

Aus den Familien der Söhne Menaschehs, des Sohnes Josephs, wurden sie zu Weibern genommen, und ihr Erbe wurde dem Stamme der Familie ihres Vaters.

13 These [are] the commands and the judgments which YHWH has commanded by the hand of Moses concerning the sons of Israel, in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho.

Das sind die Gebote und Rechte, die Jehovah im Flachland Moabs am Jordan bei Jericho den Söhnen Israels durch Moses Hand geboten hat.
