Numbers 34

1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:

2 “Command the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you are coming into the land of Canaan—this [is] the land which falls to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders—

Bjud Israels barn och säg till dem: När I kommen till Kanaans land, då är detta det land som skall tillfalla eder såsom arvedel: Kanaans land, så långt dess gränser nå.

3 then the south quarter has been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, indeed, the south border has been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea eastward;

Edert land skall på södra sidan sträcka sig från öknen Sin utmed Edom; och eder södra gräns skall i öster begynna vid ändan av Salthavet.

4 and the border has turned around to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and has passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it has gone out at Hazar-Addar, and has passed on to Azmon;

Sedan skall eder gräns böja sig söder om Skorpionhöjden och gå fram till Sin och gå ut söder om Kades-Barnea. Och den skall gå vidare ut till Hasar-Addar och fram till Asmon.

5 and the border has turned around from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

Och från Asmon skall gränsen böja sig mot Egyptens bäck och gå ut vid havet.

6 As for the west border, even the Great Sea has been a border to you; this is the west border to you.

Och eder gräns i väster skall vara Stora havet; det skall utgöra gränsen. Detta skall vara eder gräns i väster.

7 And this is the north border to you: from the Great Sea you mark out for yourselves Mount Hor;

Och detta skall vara eder gräns i norr: Från Stora havet skolen I draga eder gränslinje fram vid berget Hor.

8 from Mount Hor you mark out to go to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;

Från berget Hor skolen I draga eder gränslinje dit där vägen går till Hamat, och gränsen skall gå ut vid Sedad.

9 and the border has gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is the north border to you.

Sedan skall gränsen gå till Sifron och därifrån ut vid Hasar-Enan. Detta skall vara eder gräns i norr.

10 And you have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;

och såsom eder gräns i öster skolen I draga upp en linje från Hasar-Enan fram till Sefam.

11 and the border has gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border has gone down, and has struck against the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward;

Och från Sefam skall gränsen gå ned till Haribla, öster om Ain, och gränsen skall gå vidare ned och intill bergsluttningen vid Kinneretsjön, österut.

12 and the border has gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is the land for you by its borders all around.”

Sedan skall gränsen gå ned till Jordan och ut vid Salthavet. Detta skall vara edert land, med dess gränser runt omkring.

13 And Moses commands the sons of Israel, saying, “This [is] the land which you inherit by lot, which YHWH has commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;

Och Mose bjöd Israels barn och sade: Detta är det land som I genom lottkastning skolen utskifta såsom arvedel åt eder, det land om vilket HERREN har bjudit att det skall givas åt de nio stammarna och den ena halva stammen.

14 for the tribe of the sons of Reuben, by the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers, have received [their inheritance]; and [those of] the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;

Ty rubeniternas barns stam, efter dess familjer, och gaditernas barns stam, efter dess familjer, och den andra hälften av Manasse stam, dessa hava redan fått sin arvedel.

15 the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, [near] Jericho, eastward, at the [sun]-rising.”

Dessa två stammar och denna halva stam hava fått sin arvedel på andra sidan Jordan mitt emot Jeriko, österut mot solens uppgång.

16 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:

17 “These [are] the names of the men who give the inheritance of the land to you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.

Dessa äro namnen på de män som skola åt eder utskifta landet i arvslotter: först och främst prästen Eleasar och Josua, Nuns son;

18 And one prince—you take one prince from a tribe to give the land by inheritance.

vidare skolen I taga en hövding ur var stam till att utskifta landet,

19 And these [are] the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

och dessa äro de männens namn: av Juda stam Kaleb, Jefunnes son;

20 and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;

av Simeons barns stam Samuel Ammihuds son;

21 of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

av Benjamins stam Elidad, Kislons son;

22 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki son of Jogli;

av Dans barns stam en hövding, Bucki, Joglis son;

23 of the sons of Joseph, a prince of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, Hanniel son of Ephod;

av Josefs barn: av Manasse barns stam en hövding, Hanniel, Efods son,

24 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, Kemuel son of Shiphtan;

och av Efraims barn stam en hövding, Kemuel, Siftans son;

25 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Elizaphan son of Parnach;

av Sebulons barns stam en hövding, Elisafan, Parnaks son;

26 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Paltiel son of Azzan;

av Isaskars barns stam en hövding, Paltiel, Assans son;

27 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Asher, Ahihud son of Shelomi;

av Asers barns stam en hövding, Ahihud, Selomis son;

28 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, Pedahel son of Ammihud.”

av Naftali barns stam en hövding, Pedael, Ammihuds son.

29 These [are] those whom YHWH has commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.

Dessa äro de som HERREN bjöd att utskifta arvslotterna åt Israels barn i Kanaans land.
