Numbers 34
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
UThixo wathi kuMosi,
2 “Command the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you are coming into the land of Canaan—this [is] the land which falls to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders—

3 then the south quarter has been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, indeed, the south border has been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea eastward;

4 and the border has turned around to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and has passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it has gone out at Hazar-Addar, and has passed on to Azmon;
udabula eningizimu yoMkhandlu weNkume, kusiya ngaseZini njalo kuye eningizimu yeKhadeshi Bhaneya. Usuka lapho uzaqonda eHazari Adari njalo wedlulele e-Azimoni,
5 and the border has turned around from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.
lapho ozajika khona, kuhlangane lesiHotsha saseGibhithe njalo uyephelela oLwandle lwaseMedithereniyeni.
6 As for the west border, even the Great Sea has been a border to you; this is the west border to you.
Umngcele wenu wentshonalanga uzakuba ligumbi loLwandle oLukhulu. Lo uzakuba ngumngcele wenu entshonalanga.
7 And this is the north border to you: from the Great Sea you mark out for yourselves Mount Hor;
Okomngcele wenu wenyakatho, usekela uLwandle oLukhulu usiya eNtabeni yaseHori
8 from Mount Hor you mark out to go to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;

9 and the border has gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is the north border to you.
ubusuqhubeka usiya eZifironi uze uyekuma eHazari-Enani. Lo yiwo umngcele wenu enyakatho.
10 And you have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;
Okomngcele wenu wempumalanga, sukelani eHazari-Enani kusiya eShefamu.
11 and the border has gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border has gone down, and has struck against the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward;
Umngcele uzakwehla usuka eShefamu usiya eRibhila engempumalanga kwe-Ayini njalo uqhubeke ulandela umthezuko empumalanga koLwandle lwaseKhinerethi.
12 and the border has gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is the land for you by its borders all around.”
Kusuka lapho umngcele uzakwehla ulandela umfula uJodani uze uyecina oLwandle lweTswayi. Leli lizakuba yilizwe lenu, ngemingcele yalo inxa zonke.’”
13 And Moses commands the sons of Israel, saying, “This [is] the land which you inherit by lot, which YHWH has commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;

14 for the tribe of the sons of Reuben, by the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers, have received [their inheritance]; and [those of] the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;
ngenxa yokuthi abezimuli zesizwana sikaRubheni, abesizwana sikaGadi kanye lengxenye yesizwana sikaManase sebethole isabelo sabo.
15 the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, [near] Jericho, eastward, at the [sun]-rising.”
Izizwana lezi ezimbili kanye lalesi esiyingxenye sezithole isabelo sazo empumalanga komfula uJodani malungana leJerikho, ngokuya ngempumalanga.”
16 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
UThixo wathi kuMosi,
17 “These [are] the names of the men who give the inheritance of the land to you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
“La ngamabizo amadoda azalabela ilizwe njengelifa lenu: u-Eliyazari umphristi kanye loJoshuwa indodana kaNuni.
18 And one prince—you take one prince from a tribe to give the land by inheritance.
Beselikhetha umkhokheli oyedwa esizwaneni ngasinye ukuncedisa ukwaba ilizwe:
19 And these [are] the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
La yiwo amabizo abo: uKhalebi indodana kaJefune, owesizwana sakoJuda;
20 and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;
uShemuyeli indodana ka-Amihudi, owesizwana sakoSimiyoni;
21 of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
u-Elidadi indodana kaKhisiloni, owesizwana sakoBhenjamini;
22 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki son of Jogli;
uBhukhi indodana kaJogili, umkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sakoDani;
23 of the sons of Joseph, a prince of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, Hanniel son of Ephod;
uHaniyeli indodana ka-Efodi, ongumkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sikaManase indodana kaJosefa;
24 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, Kemuel son of Shiphtan;
uKhemuweli indodana kaShifuthani, engumkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sako-Efrayimi indodana kaJosefa;
25 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Elizaphan son of Parnach;
u-Elizafani indodana kaPhanaki, umkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sikaZebhuluni;
26 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Paltiel son of Azzan;
uPhalithiyeli indodana ka-Azani, umkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sika-Isakhari,
27 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Asher, Ahihud son of Shelomi;
u-Ahihudi indodana kaShelomi, umkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sika-Asheri;
28 and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, Pedahel son of Ammihud.”
uPhedaheli indodana ka-Amihudi, umkhokheli ovela esizwaneni sikaNafithali.”
29 These [are] those whom YHWH has commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.
La yiwo amadoda uThixo alaya ukuthi ahlukanisele abako-Israyeli isabelo sabo selizwe laseKhenani.
