Numbers 30
1 And Moses speaks to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, “This [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded:
௧மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவர்களை நோக்கி: “யெகோவா கட்டளையிடுவது என்னவென்றால்:
2 When a man vows a vow to YHWH, or has sworn an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he does not defile his word; he does according to all that is going out from his mouth.
௨“ஒருவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு எந்த ஒரு பொருத்தனை செய்தாலும், அல்லது எந்த ஒரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி ஆணையிட்டுத் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், அவன் சொல்தவறாமல் தன்னுடைய வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட வாக்கின்படியெல்லாம் செய்யவேண்டும்.
3 And when a woman vows a vow to YHWH, and has bound a bond in the house of her father in her youth,
௩தன்னுடைய தகப்பன் வீட்டிலிருக்கிற ஒரு பெண்பிள்ளை தன்னுடைய சிறுவயதிலே யெகோவாவுக்குப் பொருத்தனைச்செய்து எந்த ஒரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொண்டால்,
4 and her father has heard her vow and her bond which she has bound on her soul, and her father has kept silent to her, then all her vows have been established, and every bond which she has bound on her soul is established.
௪அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனையையும், அவள் செய்துகொண்ட நிபந்தனையையும் அவளுடைய தகப்பன் கேட்டும் அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமல் இருப்பானானால், அவள் செய்த எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளும் அவள் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும்.
5 And if her father has disallowed her in the day of his hearing, none of her vows and her bonds which she has bound on her soul are established, and YHWH is propitious to her, for her father has disallowed her.
௫அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளையும், அவள் செய்யும்படி தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையையும் அவளுடைய தகப்பன் கேட்கிற நாளில் அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தால், அது நிறைவேறவேண்டியதில்லை; அவளுடைய தகப்பன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தபடியால், யெகோவா அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.
6 And if she is having a husband, and her vows [are] on her, or a wrongful utterance [on] her lips which she has bound on her soul,
௬அவள் பொருத்தனை செய்யும்போதும், தன்னுடைய உதடுகளைத் திறந்து தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்போதும், அவளுக்கு கணவன் இருந்தால்,
7 and her husband has heard, and in the day of his hearing he has kept silent to her, then her vows have been established, and her bonds which she has bound on her soul are established.
௭அப்பொழுது அவளுடைய கணவன் அதைக் கேட்டிருந்தும், அதைக் கேள்விப்படுகிற நாளில் அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமல் இருந்தால், அவளுடைய பொருத்தனைகளும் அவள் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும்.
8 And if in the day of her husband’s hearing he disallows her, then he has broken her vow which [is] on her, and the wrongful utterance of her lips which she has bound on her soul, and YHWH is propitious to her.
௮அவளுடைய கணவன் அதைக் கேட்கிற நாளில் அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்து, அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனையும் அவள் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையும் செல்லாதபடி செய்தானென்றால், அப்பொழுது யெகோவா அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.
9 As for the vow of a widow or cast-out woman, all that she has bound on her soul is established on her.
௯ஒரு விதவையாவது, தள்ளப்பட்டுப்போன ஒரு பெண்ணாவது தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை எந்த நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறாளோ அந்த நிபந்தனை நிறைவேறவேண்டும்.
10 And if she has vowed [in] the house of her husband, or has bound a bond on her soul with an oath,
௧0அவள் தன்னுடைய கணவனுடைய வீட்டில் எந்த ஒரு பொருத்தனை செய்தாலும், அல்லது எந்த ஒரு காரியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி ஆணையிட்டுத் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும்,
11 and her husband has heard, and has kept silent to her—he has not disallowed her—then all her vows have been established, and every bond which she has bound on her soul is established.
௧௧அவளுடைய கணவன் அதைக் கேட்டும் அவளுக்கு அதை வேண்டாமென்று தடுக்காமல் மவுனமாக இருந்தால், அவள் செய்த எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளும், அவள் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்தின எல்லா நிபந்தனைகளும் நிறைவேறவேண்டும்.
12 And if her husband certainly breaks them in the day of his hearing, none of the outgoing of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, is established—her husband has broken them—and YHWH is propitious to her.
௧௨அவளுடைய கணவன் அவைகளைக்கேட்ட நாளில் அவைகளைச் செல்லாதபடி செய்தால், அப்பொழுது அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளும், அவள் தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்கு உட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையைக்குறித்து அவள் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டதொன்றும் நிறைவேறவேண்டியதில்லை; அவளுடைய கணவன் அவைகளைச் செல்லாதபடி செய்ததினாலே யெகோவா அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.
13 Every vow and every oath—a bond to humble a soul—her husband establishes it, or her husband breaks it;
௧௩எந்தப் பொருத்தனையையும், ஆத்துமாவைத் தாழ்மைப்படுத்தும்படி செய்யப்பட்ட எந்த ஆணையையும், அவளுடைய கணவன் உறுதிப்படுத்தவும் முடியும், செல்லாதபடி செய்யவும் முடியும்.
14 and if her husband certainly keeps silent to her from day to day, then he has established all her vows or all her bonds which [are] on her; he has established them, for he has kept silent to her in the day of his hearing;
௧௪அவளுடைய கணவன் ஒருநாளும் அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமல் இருந்தால், அவன் அவளுடைய எல்லாப் பொருத்தனைகளையும், அவள் பெயரிலிருக்கிற அவளுடைய எல்லா நிபந்தனைகளையும் உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறான்; அவன் அதைக் கேட்ட நாளிலே அவளுக்கு ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமல்போனதினால், அவைகளை உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறான்.
15 and if he indeed breaks them after his hearing, then he has borne her iniquity.”
௧௫அவன் அவைகளைக் கேட்டபின்பு செல்லாதபடி செய்தால், அவளுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவன் சுமப்பான் என்றார்.
16 These [are] the statutes which YHWH has commanded Moses between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth, [in] the house of her father.
௧௬கணவனையும், மனைவியையும், தகப்பனையும், தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டில் சிறு வயதில் இருக்கிற அவனுடைய மகளையும் குறித்து, யெகோவா மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே.
