< Numbers 30 >

1 And Moses speaks to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, “This [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded:

2 When a man vows a vow to YHWH, or has sworn an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he does not defile his word; he does according to all that is going out from his mouth.
Tongpa he BOEIPA taengah olcaenga caeng vaengah khaw, a hinglu dongah rhuikhihte khih ham olhloa toemngam vaengah khaw a olte poeih boel saeh. A ka lamloha thoeng bangla boeih saii saeh.
3 And when a woman vows a vow to YHWH, and has bound a bond in the house of her father in her youth,
Huta he BOEIPA taengah olcaenga caeng tih a camoe ah a napa im kah rhuikhihloh a khih mai ni.
4 and her father has heard her vow and her bond which she has bound on her soul, and her father has kept silent to her, then all her vows have been established, and every bond which she has bound on her soul is established.
A hinglu dongaha khih a olcaeng neh a rhuikhih te a napaloh a yaak dae a napa loh anih tea ngam tak. Te vaengah a olcaeng boeihte cak vetih a hinglu dongaha khih rhuikhih boeih te khaw cak ni.
5 And if her father has disallowed her in the day of his hearing, none of her vows and her bonds which she has bound on her soul are established, and YHWH is propitious to her, for her father has disallowed her.
A napa loh a yaak hnin ah anih te khaban koinih a olcaeng boeih neh a hinglu dongkaha khih a rhuikhih te cak mahpawh. Te vaeng daengah napa loh anih te a khaban dae BOEIPA loh anih te khodawk a ngai ni.
6 And if she is having a husband, and her vows [are] on her, or a wrongful utterance [on] her lips which she has bound on her soul,
A va taengah om khaw om mai tih amah sokah a olcaeng neh a hmuilai kah olhlo te a hinglu dongaha khih khaming.
7 and her husband has heard, and in the day of his hearing he has kept silent to her, then her vows have been established, and her bonds which she has bound on her soul are established.
Te vaengah a valoh a yaaktih a yaak hnin ah pataeng anih te hil a phah tak atah a olcaengte cak vetih a hinglu dongaha khih a rhuikhih te cak ni.
8 And if in the day of her husband’s hearing he disallows her, then he has broken her vow which [is] on her, and the wrongful utterance of her lips which she has bound on her soul, and YHWH is propitious to her.
Tedae a valoh a yaak hnin ah anih tea khaban khaming. Te vaengah amah sokah a olcaeng neh a hinglu dongaha khih a hmuilai kah olhlo khaw a phae coeng dongah BOEIPA loh anih te khodawk a ngai ni.
9 As for the vow of a widow or cast-out woman, all that she has bound on her soul is established on her.
Nuhmai olcaeng neh vama kah a hinglu dongaha khih boeih boeih tah amah soah pai ni.
10 And if she has vowed [in] the house of her husband, or has bound a bond on her soul with an oath,
A va im kah a caeng mai akhaw, olhlo lamloh a hinglu dongah rhuikhiha khih akhaw,
11 and her husband has heard, and has kept silent to her—he has not disallowed her—then all her vows have been established, and every bond which she has bound on her soul is established.
A valoh a yaak vaengah a taengah hil a phahtih anih khaban pawt daengah ni a olcaeng boeih cak vetih a hinglu dongaha khiha rhuikhih boeih khaw a cak eh.
12 And if her husband certainly breaks them in the day of his hearing, none of the outgoing of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, is established—her husband has broken them—and YHWH is propitious to her.
A va loh a yaak hnin ah te tea phae, a phaetih a hmuilai kah aka thoeng boeih, a olcaeng khaw, a hinglu dongkah rhuikhih khaw cak sak mai mahpawh. Te rhoek te a valoh a phae dongah BOEIPA loh huta te khodawk a ngai ni.
13 Every vow and every oath—a bond to humble a soul—her husband establishes it, or her husband breaks it;
Olcaeng cungkuem neh, hinglu aka phaep ham rhuikhih olhlo cungkuem he a valoh a cak sak mai tih a valoh a phae mai thai.
14 and if her husband certainly keeps silent to her from day to day, then he has established all her vows or all her bonds which [are] on her; he has established them, for he has kept silent to her in the day of his hearing;
Tedaea taengah a va te a hnin hnin ah a ngam la ngam khaming. A yaak hnin ah pataeng a taengaha ngam dongah huta kah olcaeng boeih te caktih a sokah a rhuikhih boeih cak.
15 and if he indeed breaks them after his hearing, then he has borne her iniquity.”
A yaak neh te tea phaelaa phae atah huta kah amah lothaesainah te phueih saeh.
16 These [are] the statutes which YHWH has commanded Moses between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth, [in] the house of her father.
He oltlueh he tongpa laklo neh a yuu taengkah ham, pa laklo a camoe kah a napa im ah aka om a canu ham BOEIPA loh Moses tea uen pah.
