Numbers 26
1 And it comes to pass, after the plague, that YHWH speaks to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,
੧ਬਵਾ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, everyone going out to the host in Israel.”
੨ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰੋ, ਵੀਹ ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ।
3 And Moses speaks—Eleazar the priest also—with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,
੩ਤਦ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰਦਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਕੋਲ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲੇ,
4 “From a son of twenty years and upward,” as YHWH has commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.
੪ਵੀਹ ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
5 Reuben, firstborn of Israel—sons of Reuben: of Enoch [is] the family of the Enochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;
੫ਰਊਬੇਨ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਾ। ਰਊਬੇਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਹਨੋਕ ਤੋਂ ਹਨੋਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਪੱਲੂ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਲੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਹਸਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਸਰੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ,
6 of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.
੬ਕਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ
7 These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
੭ਇਹ ਰਊਬੇਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਉਹ ਤਿਰਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਨ।
8 And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;
੮ਅਤੇ ਪੱਲੂ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਆਬ ਸੀ।
9 and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the congregation, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the congregation of Korah, in their striving against YHWH,
੯ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਆਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਮੂਏਲ, ਦਾਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਰਾਮ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦਾਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਰਾਮ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੋਰਹ ਦੀ ਟੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਝਗੜਦੇ ਸਨ।
10 and the earth opens her mouth, and swallows them and Korah, in the death of the congregation, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;
੧੦ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਰਹ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਿਆ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਟੋਲੀ ਮਰ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਅੱਗ ਨੇ ਢਾਈ ਸੌ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਸਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
11 but the sons of Korah did not die.
੧੧ਪਰ ਕੋਰਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇ।
12 Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;
੧੨ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਨਮੂਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਨਮੂਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਯਾਮੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਯਮੀਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਯਾਕੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਯਾਕੀਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
13 of Zerah the family of the Zerahite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.
੧੩ਜ਼ਰਹ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਰਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
14 These [are] families of the Simeonite—twenty-two thousand and two hundred.
੧੪ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਾਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
15 Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;
੧੫ਗਾਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਫ਼ੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਫ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਹੱਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੱਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਸੂਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
16 of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:
੧੬ਆਜ਼ਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਏਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਏਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
17 of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.
੧੭ਅਰੋਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਰੋਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਅਰਏਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਰਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
18 These [are] families of the sons of Gad by their numbered ones—forty thousand and five hundred.
੧੮ਇਹ ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
19 Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dies—Onan also—in the land of Canaan.
੧੯ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਏਰ ਅਤੇ ਓਨਾਨ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਏਰ ਅਤੇ ਓਨਾਨ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰ ਗਏ।
20 And sons of Judah by their families are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Perez the family of the Perezite; of Zerah the family of the Zerahite;
੨੦ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ੇਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਲਾਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਪਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਜ਼ਰਹ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਰਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
21 and sons of Perez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.
੨੧ਪਰਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਹਸਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਸਰੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਹਾਮੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਹਮੂਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
22 These [are] families of Judah by their numbered ones—seventy-six thousand and five hundred.
੨੨ਇਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਛਿਹੱਤਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
23 Sons of Issachar by their families: of Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;
੨੩ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਤੋਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਤੋਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਪੁੱਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
24 of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.
੨੪ਯਾਸ਼ੂਬ ਤੋਂ ਯਾਸ਼ੂਬੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਸ਼ਿਮਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਰੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
25 These [are] families of Issachar by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and three hundred.
੨੫ਇਹ ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚੌਂਹਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
26 Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.
੨੬ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਰਦ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਏਲੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਏਲੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਯਹਲਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਯਹਲਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
27 These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones—sixty thousand and five hundred.
੨੭ਇਹ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
28 Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
੨੮ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ
29 Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir has begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.
੨੯ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮਾਕੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਕੀਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਅਤੇ ਮਾਕੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਜੰਮਿਆ, ਗਿਲਆਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
30 These [are] sons of Gilead: of Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;

31 and of Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and of Shechem the family of the Shechemite;
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਅਸਰੀਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਰੀਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
32 and of Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and of Hepher the family of the Hepherite.
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮੀਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਮੀਦਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਫ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਫ਼ਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
33 And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but [only] daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਫ਼ਹਾਦ ਹੇਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੋਲ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਫ਼ਹਾਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਮਹਲਾਹ, ਨੋਆਹ, ਹਾਗਲਾਹ, ਮਿਲਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਰਸਾਹ ਸਨ।
34 These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.
੩੪ਇਹ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਵੰਜਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
35 These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.
੩੫ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ੁਥਲਹ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਥਲਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਬੇਕੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਕੇਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਤਹਨ ਤੋਂ ਤਹਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
36 And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ੁਥਲਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ, ਏਰਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਏਰਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
37 These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim by their numbered ones—thirty-two thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.

38 Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;
੩੮ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਬਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਅਸ਼ਬੇਲ ਤੋਂ ਅਸ਼ਬੇਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਅਹੀਰਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਅਹੀਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ,
39 of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.
੩੯ਸ਼ਫ਼ੂਫ਼ਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਫੂਫ਼ਾਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਹੂਫ਼ਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੂਫ਼ਾਮੀਆਂ ਟੱਬਰ
40 And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite; of Naaman the family of the Naamite.
੪੦ਅਤੇ ਬਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਰਦ ਅਤੇ ਨਅਮਾਨ ਸਨ। ਅਰਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਰਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਨਆਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਆਮਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
41 These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred.
੪੧ਇਹ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
42 These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;
੪੨ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸ਼ੂਹਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੂਹਾਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਇਹ ਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ।
43 all the families of the Shuhamite by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
੪੩ਸ਼ੂਹਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੌਂਹਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
44 Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.
੪੪ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਯਿਮਨਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਯਿਮਨਾਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਯਿਸ਼ਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਯਿਸ਼ਵੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਬਰੀਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਰੀਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
45 Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.
੪੫ਬਰੀਆਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੋਂ, ਹੇਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਬਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਮਲਕੀਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਮਲਕੀਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
46 And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.
੪੬ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਰਹ ਸੀ।
47 These [are] families of the sons of Asher by their numbered ones—fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
੪੭ਇਹ ਆਸ਼ੇਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤਿਰਵੰਜਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
48 Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;
੪੮ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਯਹਸਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਯਹਸਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਗੂਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਗੂਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
49 of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.
੪੯ਯੇਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਯੇਸਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਸ਼ਿੱਲੇਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਿੱਲੇਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
50 These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and four hundred.
੫੦ਇਹ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੈਂਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਸਨ।
51 These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel—six hundred thousand and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
੫੧ਇਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਛੇ ਲੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਸਨ।
52 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
੫੨ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
53 “The land is apportioned to these by inheritance, by the number of names;
੫੩ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੰਡੀ ਜਾਵੇ
54 to the many you increase their inheritance, and to the few you diminish their inheritance; each is given his inheritance according to his numbered ones.
੫੪ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇਈਂ। ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਛੋਟੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇਈਂ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
55 Surely the land is apportioned by lot; they inherit by the names of the tribes of their fathers;
੫੫ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਚਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੰਡੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਲੈਣ।
56 their inheritance is apportioned according to the lot between many and few.”
੫੬ਚਿੱਠੀ ਪਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
57 And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.
੫੭ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਨ, ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਕਹਾਥ ਤੋਂ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਮਰਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ
58 These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath has begotten Amram,
੫੮ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਹਨ, ਲਿਬਨੀ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਹਬਰੋਨੀ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਮਹਲੀ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਮੂਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ, ਕਾਰਹੀ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਾਥ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਰਾਮ ਜੰਮਿਆਂ
59 and the name of Amram’s wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom has been born to Levi in Egypt; and she bears to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and their sister Miriam.
੫੯ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯੋਕਬਦ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲੇਵੀ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਮਰਾਮ ਲਈ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਮਿਰਯਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਣੀ।
60 And born to Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;
੬੦ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਲਈ ਨਾਦਾਬ, ਅਬੀਹੂ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ, ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਜੰਮੇ।
61 and Nadab dies—Abihu also—in their bringing strange fire near before YHWH.
੬੧ਅਤੇ ਨਾਦਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਹੂ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਓਪਰੀ ਅੱਗ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਲਿਆਏ।
62 And their numbered ones are twenty-three thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, because an inheritance has not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
੬੨ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੇ ਤੇਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
63 These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho;
੬੩ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਤੋਂ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰਦਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਣਿਆ।
64 and among these there has not been a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,
੬੪ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਿਣਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਸੀਨਈ ਦੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਸੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
65 for YHWH said of them, “They certainly die in the wilderness”; and there has not been left a man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
੬੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਸੋ ਨੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਫ਼ੁੰਨਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੀ ਬਚਿਆ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
