Numbers 26

1 And it comes to pass, after the plague, that YHWH speaks to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,

Sima na etumbu wana, Yawe alobaki na Moyize mpe na Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari, mwana mobali ya Aron:

2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, everyone going out to the host in Israel.”

« Botanga motango ya bato ya lisanga mobimba ya Isalaele, bato nyonso oyo bazali na mibu tuku mibale mpe koleka, oyo bazali na makoki ya kosala mosala ya kisoda kati na Isalaele. »

3 And Moses speaks—Eleazar the priest also—with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,

Moyize elongo na Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari basololaki na bango na etando ya Moabi, na libongo ya Yordani, pene na Jeriko, mpe balobaki:

4 “From a son of twenty years and upward,” as YHWH has commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.

« Tokotanga motango ya bana mibali nyonso ya Isalaele oyo bazali na mibu tuku mibale mpe koleka, ndenge Yawe apesaki mitindo epai ya Moyize. » Tala bana ya Isalaele oyo babimaki na Ejipito:

5 Reuben, firstborn of Israel—sons of Reuben: of Enoch [is] the family of the Enochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;

Bakitani ya Ribeni, mwana mobali ya liboso ya Isalaele: na nzela ya Enoki, bakitani ya libota ya Enoki; na nzela ya Palu, bakitani ya libota ya Palu;

6 of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.

7 These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Ribeni mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku minei na misato na nkama sambo na tuku misato.

8 And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;

Eliabi azalaki mwana mobali ya Palu,

9 and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the congregation, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the congregation of Korah, in their striving against YHWH,

10 and the earth opens her mouth, and swallows them and Korah, in the death of the congregation, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;

Mabele efungolaki monoko na yango mpe emelaki bango elongo na Kore, oyo bato oyo bazalaki kolanda ye bakufaki tango moto ebomaki bato nkama mibale na mitano. Bakomaki lokola bandakisa.

11 but the sons of Korah did not die.

Kasi bakitani ya Kore bakufaki te.

12 Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;

Bakitani ya Simeoni, kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Nemueli, bakitani ya libota ya Nemueli; na nzela ya Yamini, bakitani ya libota ya Yamini; na nzela ya Yakini, bakitani ya libota ya Yakini;

13 of Zerah the family of the Zerahite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.

14 These [are] families of the Simeonite—twenty-two thousand and two hundred.

15 Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;

Bakitani ya Gadi kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Tsefoni, bakitani ya libota ya Tsefoni; na nzela ya Agi, bakitani ya libota ya Agi; na nzela ya Shuni, bakitani ya libota ya Shuni;

16 of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:

na nzela ya Ozini, bakitani ya libota ya Ozini; na nzela ya Eri, bakitani ya libota ya Eri;

17 of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.

18 These [are] families of the sons of Gad by their numbered ones—forty thousand and five hundred.

19 Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dies—Onan also—in the land of Canaan.

20 And sons of Judah by their families are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Perez the family of the Perezite; of Zerah the family of the Zerahite;

Bakitani mosusu ya Yuda, kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Shela, bakitani ya libota ya Shela; na nzela ya Peretsi, bakitani ya libota ya Peretsi; na nzela ya Zera, bakitani ya libota ya Zera.

21 and sons of Perez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.

Bakitani ya Peretsi kolanda mabota na bango bazalaki: na nzela ya Etsironi, bakitani ya libota ya Etsironi; na nzela ya Amuli, bakitani ya libota ya Amuli.

22 These [are] families of Judah by their numbered ones—seventy-six thousand and five hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Yuda; bazalaki bato nkoto tuku sambo na motoba na nkama mitano.

23 Sons of Issachar by their families: of Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;

Bakitani ya Isakari kolanda mabota na bango bazalaki: na nzela ya Tola, bakitani ya libota ya Tola; na nzela ya Puwa, bakitani ya libota ya Puwa;

24 of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.

na nzela ya Yashubi, bakitani ya libota ya Yashubi; na nzela ya Shimironi, bakitani ya libota ya Shimironi.

25 These [are] families of Issachar by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and three hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Isakari; bazalaki bato nkoto tuku motoba na minei na nkama misato.

26 Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.

Bakitani ya Zabuloni, kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Seredi, bakitani ya libota ya Seredi; na nzela ya Eloni, bakitani ya libota ya Eloni; na nzela ya Yaleyeli, bakitani ya libota ya Yaleyeli.

27 These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones—sixty thousand and five hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Zabuloni mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku motoba na nkama mitano.

28 Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.

Bakitani ya Jozefi kolanda mabota na bango na nzela ya Manase mpe Efrayimi bazalaki:

29 Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir has begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.

Bakitani ya Manase: na nzela ya Makiri, bakitani ya libota ya Makiri (Makiri azalaki tata na Galadi); na nzela ya Galadi, bakitani ya libota ya Galadi.

30 These [are] sons of Gilead: of Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;

Tala bakitani ya Galadi: na nzela ya Yezeri, bakitani ya libota ya Yezeri; na nzela ya Eleki, bakitani ya libota ya Eleki;

31 and of Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and of Shechem the family of the Shechemite;

na nzela ya Asirieli, bakitani ya libota ya Asirieli; na nzela ya Sishemi, bakitani ya libota ya Sishemi;

32 and of Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and of Hepher the family of the Hepherite.

33 And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but [only] daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Tselofikadi, mwana mobali ya Eferi, azalaki na bana mibali te, kasi azalaki kaka na bana basi; bongo, tala bakombo na bango: Mala, Noa, Ogila, Milika mpe Tiritsa.

34 These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Manase, mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku mitano na mibale na nkama sambo.

35 These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.

Bakitani ya Efrayimi kolanda mabota na bango bazalaki: na nzela ya Shutela, bakitani ya libota ya Shutela; na nzela ya Bekeri, bakitani ya libota ya Bekeri; na nzela ya Tayani, bakitani ya libota ya Tayani.

36 And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.

Tala bakitani ya Shutela: na nzela ya Erani, bakitani ya etuka ya Erani.

37 These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim by their numbered ones—thirty-two thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.

Yango ezalaki mabota ya Efrayimi mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku misato na mibale na nkama mitano. Bango nde bazalaki bakitani ya Jozefi kolanda bituka na bango.

38 Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;

Bakitani ya Benjame kolanda mabota na bango bazalaki: na nzela ya Bela, bakitani ya libota ya Bela; na nzela ya Ashibeli, bakitani ya libota ya Ashibeli; na nzela ya Ayirami, bakitani ya libota ya Ayirami;

39 of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.

na nzela ya Shufami, bakitani ya libota ya Shufami; na nzela ya Ufami, bakitani ya libota ya Ufami.

40 And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite; of Naaman the family of the Naamite.

Bakitani ya Bela na nzela ya Aridi mpe Namani bazalaki: na nzela ya Aridi, bakitani ya libota ya Aridi; na nzela ya Namani, bakitani ya libota ya Namani.

41 These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Benjame mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku minei na mitano na nkama mitano.

42 These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;

Bakitani ya Dani kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Shuami, bakitani ya libota ya Shuami. Bango nde bazalaki bakitani ya Dani:

43 all the families of the Shuhamite by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and four hundred.

bango nyonso bazalaki bakitani ya libota ya Shuami mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku motoba na minei na nkama minei.

44 Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.

Bakitani ya Aseri, kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Yimina, bakitani ya libota ya Yimina; na nzela ya Yishivi, bakitani ya libota ya Yishivi; na nzela ya Beria, bakitani ya libota ya Beria;

45 Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.

na nzela ya bakitani ya Beria: na nzela ya Eberi, bakitani ya libota ya Eberi; na nzela ya Malikieli, bakitani ya libota ya Malikieli.

46 And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.

Aseri azalaki mpe na mwana moko ya mwasi na kombo Sera.

47 These [are] families of the sons of Asher by their numbered ones—fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Aseri, mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku mitano na misato na nkama minei.

48 Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;

Bakitani ya Nefitali, kolanda mabota na bango, bazalaki: na nzela ya Yatseyeli, bakitani ya libota ya Yatseyeli; na nzela ya Guni, bakitani ya libota ya Guni;

49 of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.

na nzela ya Yetseri, bakitani ya libota ya Yetseri; na nzela ya Shilemi, bakitani ya libota ya Shilemi.

50 These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and four hundred.

Yango nde ezalaki mabota ya Nefitali, mpe bazalaki bato nkoto tuku minei na mitano na nkama minei.

51 These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel—six hundred thousand and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

Motango nyonso ya bana ya Isalaele oyo batangaki ezalaki bato nkoto nkama motoba na moko na nkama sambo na tuku misato.

52 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

Yawe alobaki na Moyize:

53 “The land is apportioned to these by inheritance, by the number of names;

« Esengeli kokabolela bango mokili lokola libula, kolanda motango ya bato wana.

54 to the many you increase their inheritance, and to the few you diminish their inheritance; each is given his inheritance according to his numbered ones.

Bokopesa eteni ya mabele ya monene epai ya libota oyo ezali mpe monene, eteni ya mabele ya moke epai ya libota oyo ezali mpe moke. Libota moko na moko ekozwa libula na yango, kolanda motango ya bato oyo batangaki.

55 Surely the land is apportioned by lot; they inherit by the names of the tribes of their fathers;

Bakokabola mokili na kobeta zeke mpe libota moko na moko ekozwa libula na yango, kolanda bakombo ya bakoko ya bikolo na bango.

56 their inheritance is apportioned according to the lot between many and few.”

Esengeli kokabola libula na libula na zeke kati na libota oyo ezali monene mpe libota oyo ezali moke. »

57 And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.

Tala bakitani ya Levi oyo batangamaki kolanda mabota na bango: na nzela ya Gerishoni, bakitani ya libota ya Gerishoni; na nzela ya Keati, bakitani ya Keati; na nzela ya Merari, bakitani ya Merari.

58 These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath has begotten Amram,

Tala mabota mosusu ya bakitani ya Levi: bakitani ya libota ya Libini, bakitani ya libota ya Ebron, bakitani ya libota ya Maali, bakitani ya libota ya Mushi, bakitani ya libota ya Kore. Keati azalaki tata ya Amirami;

59 and the name of Amram’s wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom has been born to Levi in Egypt; and she bears to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and their sister Miriam.

60 And born to Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;

Aron azalaki tata ya Nadabi na Abiyu, Eleazari na Itamari.

61 and Nadab dies—Abihu also—in their bringing strange fire near before YHWH.

Kasi Nadabi na Abiyu bakufaki tango babonzelaki Yawe makabo na moto ya mopaya.

62 And their numbered ones are twenty-three thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, because an inheritance has not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.

Bakitani nyonso ya mibali ya Levi oyo batangamaki, kobanda na sanza moko ya mbotama mpe koleka, bazalaki nkoto tuku misato. Batangaki bango te elongo na bato mosusu ya Isalaele mpo ete bazwaki libula te kati na bango.

63 These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho;

Yango nde motango ya bana ya Isalaele oyo Moyize elongo na Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari batangaki na bitando ya Moabi, na libongo ya Yordani pene ya Jeriko.

64 and among these there has not been a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,

Kati na bango, moko te atikalaki na bomoi, kati na ba-oyo Moyize mpe Nganga-Nzambe Aron batangaki, tango batangaki bana ya Isalaele kati na esobe ya Sinai.

65 for YHWH said of them, “They certainly die in the wilderness”; and there has not been left a man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

Pamba te Yawe alobaki na bana ya Isalaele wana ete bakokufa solo na esobe, mpe moko te kati na bango longola kaka Kalebi, mwana mobali ya Yefune, mpe Jozue, mwana mobali ya Nuni.
