Numbers 26
1 And it comes to pass, after the plague, that YHWH speaks to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,
Poslije toga zla Jahve reče Mojsiju i Eleazaru, sinu svećenika Arona:
2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, everyone going out to the host in Israel.”
“Obavite popis sve zajednice sinova Izraelovih, po njihovim porodicama, popišite sve, od dvadeset godina pa naviše, koji su u Izraelu sposobni za borbu.”
3 And Moses speaks—Eleazar the priest also—with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,
Mojsije, dakle, i svećenik Eleazar popišu ih na Moapskim poljanama, uz Jordan blizu Jerihona,
4 “From a son of twenty years and upward,” as YHWH has commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.
sve od dvadeset godina pa naviše, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju i Izraelcima. Sinovi Izraelovi koji su izašli iz zemlje egipatske bili su:
5 Reuben, firstborn of Israel—sons of Reuben: of Enoch [is] the family of the Enochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;
Izraelov prvorođenac Ruben. Sinovi Rubenovi: od Henoka rod Henokovaca; od Palua rod Paluovaca;
6 of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.
od Hesrona rod Hesronovaca i od Karmija rod Karmijevaca.
7 These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
To su rodovi Rubenovaca. Njih je bilo četrdeset i tri tisuće sedam stotina i trideset.
8 And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;
Paluov sin bijaše Eliab,
9 and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the congregation, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the congregation of Korah, in their striving against YHWH,
a sinovi Eliabovi: Nemuel, Datan i Abiram. Taj Datan i Abiram bijahu ugledni članovi zajednice koji se podigoše protiv Mojsija i Arona u buni Korahovoj, kad se pobuniše protiv Jahve.
10 and the earth opens her mouth, and swallows them and Korah, in the death of the congregation, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;
Nato je zemlja rastvorila svoje ralje i progutala ih zajedno s Korahom, kad je smrt pograbila tu skupinu i oganj proždro dvjesta i pedeset ljudi. Tako su postali opomenom.
11 but the sons of Korah did not die.
No sinovi Korahovi ne izginuše.
12 Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;
Sinovi Šimunovi po svojim rodovima: od Nemuela rod Nemuelovaca; od Jamina rod Jaminovaca; od Jakina rod Jakinovaca;
13 of Zerah the family of the Zerahite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.
od Zeraha rod Zerahovaca i od Šaula rod Šaulovaca.
14 These [are] families of the Simeonite—twenty-two thousand and two hundred.
To su rodovi Šimunovaca, njih dvadeset i dvije tisuće i dvjesta.
15 Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;
Sinovi Gadovi po svojim rodovima: od Sefona rod Sefonovaca; od Hagija rod Hagijevaca; od Šunija rod Šunijevaca;
16 of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:
od Oznija rod Oznijevaca; od Erija rod Erijevaca;
17 of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.

18 These [are] families of the sons of Gad by their numbered ones—forty thousand and five hundred.
To su rodovi Gadovih potomaka. Njih je upisano četrdeset tisuća i pet stotina.
19 Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dies—Onan also—in the land of Canaan.
Judini sinovi: Er i Onan. I Er i Onan umriješe u zemlji kanaanskoj.
20 And sons of Judah by their families are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Perez the family of the Perezite; of Zerah the family of the Zerahite;
Sinovi Judini po svojim rodovima bijahu: od Šele rod Šelinaca; od Peresa rod Peresovaca i od Zeraha rod Zerahovaca.
21 and sons of Perez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.
Peresovi su sinovi opet bili: od Hesrona rod Hesronovaca i od Hamula rod Hamulovaca.
22 These [are] families of Judah by their numbered ones—seventy-six thousand and five hundred.
To su Judini rodovi. Njih je upisano sedamdeset i šest tisuća i petsto.
23 Sons of Issachar by their families: of Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;
Sinovi Jisakarovi, prema svojim rodovima: od Tole rod Tolinaca; od Puve rod Puvinaca;
24 of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.
od Jašuba rod Jašubovaca i od Šimrona rod Šimronovaca.
25 These [are] families of Issachar by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and three hundred.
To su Jisakarovi rodovi. Njih je upisano šezdeset i četiri tisuće i trista.
26 Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.
Sinovi Zebulunovi, po svojim rodovima: od Sereda rod Seredovaca; od Elona rod Elonovaca i od Jahleela rod Jahleelovaca.
27 These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones—sixty thousand and five hundred.
To su rodovi Zebulunovaca. Njih je upisano šezdeset tisuća i pet stotina.
28 Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
Sinovi Josipovi, po svojim rodovima: Manaše i Efrajim.
29 Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir has begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.
Sinovi Manašeovi: od Makira rod Makirovaca. Makiru se rodio Gilead. Od Gileada rod Gileadovaca.
30 These [are] sons of Gilead: of Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;
Ovo su bili sinovi Gileadovi: od Jezera rod Jezerovaca; od Heleka rod Helekovaca;
31 and of Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and of Shechem the family of the Shechemite;

32 and of Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and of Hepher the family of the Hepherite.

33 And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but [only] daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
Heferov sin Selofhad nije imao sinova, nego kćeri. Imena Selofhadovih kćeri bila su: Mahla, Noa, Hogla, Milka i Tirsa.
34 These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.
To su Manašeovi rodovi. Njih je upisano pedeset i dvije tisuće i sedam stotina.
35 These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.
Ovo su opet sinovi Efrajimovi, po svojim rodovima: od Šutelaha rod Šutelahovaca; od Bekera rod Bekerovaca i od Tahana rod Tahanovaca.
36 And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.
Ovo su sinovi Šutelahovi: od Erana rod Eranovaca.
37 These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim by their numbered ones—thirty-two thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.
To su rodovi Efrajimovih sinova. Njih je upisano trideset i dvije tisuće i pet stotina. To su sinovi Josipovi, po svojim rodovima.
38 Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;
Sinovi Benjaminovi, po svojim rodovima: od Bele rod Belinaca; od Ašbela rod Ašbelovaca; od Ahirama rod Ahiramovaca;
39 of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.
od Šefufama rod Šefufamovaca i od Hufama rod Hufamovaca.
40 And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite; of Naaman the family of the Naamite.
Belini sinovi bili su: Ard i Naaman. I tako, od Arda rod Ardovaca, a od Naamana rod Naamanovaca.
41 These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred.
To su sinovi Benjaminovi, po svojim rodovima. Njih je upisano četrdeset i pet tisuća i šest stotina.
42 These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;
Ovo su sinovi Danovi, po svojim rodovima: od Šuhama rod Šuhamovaca. To su sinovi Danovi, prema svojim rodovima.
43 all the families of the Shuhamite by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
Od svih rodova Šuhamovaca bilo je upisano šezdeset i četiri tisuće i četiri stotine.
44 Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.
Sinovi Ašerovi, po svojim rodovima: od Jimne rod Jimninaca; od Jišvija rod Jišvijevaca i od Berije rod Berijevaca.
45 Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.
Od sinova Berijinih: od Hebera rod Heberovaca i od Malkiela rod Malkielovaca.
46 And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.
Ašerovoj kćeri bilo je ime Serah.
47 These [are] families of the sons of Asher by their numbered ones—fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
To su rodovi Ašerovih sinova. Njih je upisano pedeset i tri tisuće i četiri stotine.
48 Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;
Sinovi Naftalijevi, po svojim rodovima: od Jahseela rod Jahseelovaca; od Gunija rod Gunijevaca;
49 of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.
od Jesera rod Jeserovaca i od Šilema rod Šilemovaca.
50 These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and four hundred.
To su rodovi Naftalijevaca. Po njihovim rodovima upisano ih je četrdeset i pet tisuća i četiri stotine.
51 These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel—six hundred thousand and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Bilo je, dakle, upisanih Izraelaca šest stotina i jedna tisuća i sedam stotina i trideset.
52 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jahve reče Mojsiju:
53 “The land is apportioned to these by inheritance, by the number of names;
“Tima neka se razdijeli zemlja u baštinu prema broju osoba.
54 to the many you increase their inheritance, and to the few you diminish their inheritance; each is given his inheritance according to his numbered ones.
Većem broju povećaj njegovu baštinu, a manjem smanji njegovu baštinu; neka se svakomu dadne njegova baština prema broju upisanih.
55 Surely the land is apportioned by lot; they inherit by the names of the tribes of their fathers;
Ali zemlja neka se podijeli kockom: neka se primi u baštinu prema djedovskim plemenskim imenima.
56 their inheritance is apportioned according to the lot between many and few.”
Baština se ima podijeliti kockom svakom plemenu prema njegovoj veličini.”
57 And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.
Ovo je popis Levijevaca, po njihovim rodovima: od Geršona rod Geršonovaca; od Kehata rod Kehatovaca i od Merarija rod Merarijevaca.
58 These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath has begotten Amram,
Ovo su rodovi Levijevaca: rod Libnijevaca, rod Hebronovaca, rod Mahlijevaca, rod Mušijevaca i rod Korahovaca. Kehatu se rodio Amram.
59 and the name of Amram’s wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom has been born to Levi in Egypt; and she bears to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and their sister Miriam.
Amramovoj ženi bijaše ime Jokebeda. Bila je kći Levijeva, koja se Leviju rodila u Egiptu. Ona je Amramu rodila: Arona, Mojsija i njihovu sestru Mirjam.
60 And born to Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;
Aronu se rodili: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar i Itamar.
61 and Nadab dies—Abihu also—in their bringing strange fire near before YHWH.
Nadab i Abihu poginuli su kad su prinosili neposvećenu vatru pred Jahvom.
62 And their numbered ones are twenty-three thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, because an inheritance has not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
Svih je popisanih muškaraca od jednog mjeseca pa naviše bilo dvadeset i tri tisuće. Oni nisu bili popisani s Izraelcima i nije im bila dodijeljena baština među Izraelcima.
63 These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho;
To su, dakle, oni koje je popisao Mojsije i svećenik Eleazar; oni su obavili ovaj popis Izraelaca uz Jordan, na Moapskim poljanama nasuprot Jerihonu.
64 and among these there has not been a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,
Među njima nije bilo ni jednoga od onih koje su popisali Mojsije i svećenik Aron kad su popisivali Izraelce u Sinajskoj pustinji.
65 for YHWH said of them, “They certainly die in the wilderness”; and there has not been left a man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
Jer Jahve bijaše za njih rekao: “Neka pomru u pustinji i neka nitko od njih ne ostane, osim Kaleba, sina Jefuneova, i Jošue, sina Nunova!”
