Numbers 20
1 And the sons of Israel, all the congregation, come [into] the wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people abide in Kadesh; and Miriam dies there and is buried there.
Тоатэ адунаря копиилор луй Исраел а ажунс ын пустиул Цин ын луна ынтый. Ши попорул с-а оприт ла Кадес. Аколо а мурит ши а фост ынгропатэ Мария.
2 And there has been no water for the congregation, and they are assembled against Moses and against Aaron,
Адунаря н-авя апэ. Ши с-ау рэскулат ымпотрива луй Мойсе ши ымпотрива луй Аарон.
3 and the people strive with Moses and speak, saying, “And oh that we had expired when our brothers expired before YHWH!
Попорул а кэутат чартэ ку Мойсе. Ей ау зис: „Че бине ар фи фост сэ фи мурит ной кынд ау мурит фраций ноштри ынаинтя Домнулуй!
4 And why have you brought in the assembly of YHWH to this wilderness to die there, we and our beasts?
Пентру че аць адус адунаря Домнулуй ын пустиул ачеста, ка сэ мурим ын ел, ной ши вителе ноастре?
5 And why have you brought us up out of Egypt to bring us to this evil place? [It is] not a place of seed, and fig, and vine, and pomegranate; and there is no water to drink.”
Пентру че не-аць скос дин Еӂипт ши не-аць адус ын ачест лок рэу, унде ну есте нич лок де семэнат, нич смокин, нич вицэ, нич родиу, нич апэ де бэут?”
6 And Moses and Aaron go in from the presence of the assembly to the opening of the Tent of Meeting and fall on their faces, and the glory of YHWH is seen by them.
Мойсе ши Аарон ау плекат де ла адунаре ши с-ау дус ла уша кортулуй ынтылнирий. Ау кэзут ку фаца ла пэмынт ши ли с-а арэтат слава Домнулуй.
7 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Домнул а ворбит луй Мойсе ши а зис:
8 “Take the rod and assemble the congregation—you and your brother Aaron—and you have spoken to the rock before their eyes, and it has given its water, and you have brought out water to them from the rock, and have watered the congregation and their beasts.”
„Я тоягул ши кямэ адунаря, ту ши фрателе тэу Аарон. Сэ ворбиць стынчий ачестея ын фаца лор, ши еа ва да апэ. Сэ ле скоць астфел апэ дин стынкэ ши сэ адэпь адунаря ши вителе лор.”
9 And Moses takes the rod from before YHWH as He has commanded him,
Мойсе а луат тоягул динаинтя Домнулуй, кум ый порунчисе Домнул.
10 and Moses and Aaron assemble the assembly to the front of the rock, and he says to them, “Now hear, O rebels, do we bring out water to you from this rock?”
Мойсе ши Аарон ау кемат адунаря ынаинтя стынчий. Ши Мойсе ле-а зис: „Аскултаць, рэзврэтицилор! Вом путя ной оаре сэ вэ скоатем апэ дин стынка ачаста?”
11 And Moses lifts up his hand and strikes the rock with his rod twice; and much water comes out, and the congregation drinks, and their beasts [drink].
Апой Мойсе а ридикат мына ши а ловит стынка де доуэ орь ку тоягул. Ши а ешит апэ дин белшуг, аша ынкыт а бэут ши адунаря ши ау бэут ши вителе.
12 And YHWH says to Moses and to Aaron, “Because you have not believed in Me to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore you do not bring in this assembly to the land which I have given to them.”
Атунч, Домнул а зис луй Мойсе: „Пентру кэ н-аць крезут ын Мине ка сэ Мэ сфинциць ынаинтя копиилор луй Исраел, ну вой вець дуче адунаря ачаста ын цара пе каре й-о дау.”
13 These [are] the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel have “striven” with YHWH, and He is sanctified among them.
Ачестя сунт апеле Мериба, унде с-ау чертат копиий луй Исраел ку Домнул, каре а фост сфинцит ынтре ей.
14 And Moses sends messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, “Thus said your brother Israel: You have known all the travail which has found us,
Де ла Кадес, Мойсе а тримис ниште соль ла ымпэратул Едомулуй ка сэ-й спунэ: „Аша ворбеште фрателе тэу Исраел: ‘Ту штий тоате суферинцеле прин каре ам трекут.
15 that our fathers go down to Egypt, and we dwell in Egypt [for] many days, and the Egyptians do evil to us and to our fathers;
Пэринций ноштри с-ау коборыт ын Еӂипт ши ам локуит аколо мултэ време. Дар еӂиптений не-ау кинуит, пе ной ши пе пэринций ноштри.
16 then we cry to YHWH, and He hears our voice, and sends a Messenger, and is bringing us out of Egypt; and behold, we [are] in Kadesh, a city [in] the extremity of your border.
Ам стригат кэтре Домнул, ши Ел не-а аузит гласул. А тримис ун Ынӂер ши не-а скос дин Еӂипт. Ши ятэ кэ сунтем ла Кадес, четате каре се афлэ ла марӂиня цинутулуй тэу.
17 Please let us pass over through your land; we do not pass over through a field or through a vineyard, nor do we drink waters of a well; we go the way of the king, we do not turn aside [to] the right or left until we pass over your border.”
Ласэ-не сэ тречем прин цара та; ну вом трече нич прин огоаре, нич прин вий ши нич ну вом бя апэ дин фынтынь; вом мерӂе пе друмул ымпэрэтеск, фэрэ сэ не абатем ла дряпта сау ла стынга, пынэ вом трече де цинутул тэу.’”
18 And Edom says to him, “You do not pass over through me, lest I come out to meet you with the sword.”
Едом й-а рэспунс: „Сэ ну кумва сэ тречь пе ла мине, кэч алтфел ыць вой еши ынаинте ку сабия.”
19 And the sons of Israel say to him, “We go in the highway, and if we drink of your waters—I and my livestock—then I have given their price; only, let me pass over on my feet, nothing [more].”
Копиий луй Исраел й-ау зис: „Вом мерӂе пе друмул чел маре ши, дакэ вом бя дин апа та еу ши турмеле меле, ыць вой плэти прецул; ну-ць чер алтчева декыт сэ трек ку пичоареле!”
20 And he says, “You do not pass over”; and Edom comes out to meet him with many people and with a strong hand;
Ел а рэспунс: „Сэ ну кумва сэ тречь!” Ши Едом й-а ешит ынаинте ку мултэ глоатэ ши ку мынэ таре.
21 and Edom refuses to permit Israel to pass over through his border, and Israel turns aside from off him.
Астфел, Едом н-а врут сэ ласе пе Исраел сэ трякэ прин цинутул луй. Ши Исраел с-а абэтут де ла ел.
22 And the sons of Israel, all the congregation, journey from Kadesh and come to Mount Hor,
Тоатэ адунаря копиилор луй Исраел а плекат де ла Кадес ши а ажунс ла мунтеле Хор.
23 and YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron in Mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom, saying,
Домнул а зис луй Мойсе ши луй Аарон лынгэ мунтеле Хор, ла хотареле цэрий луй Едом:
24 “Aaron is gathered to his people, for he does not go into the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because that you provoked My mouth at the waters of Meribah.
„Аарон аре сэ фие адэугат ла попорул луй, кэч ну ва интра ын цара пе каре о дау копиилор луй Исраел, пентру кэ в-аць ымпотривит порунчий Меле, ла апеле Мериба.
25 Take Aaron and his son Eleazar, and cause them to go up Mount Hor,
Я пе Аарон ши пе фиул сэу Елеазар ши суе-й пе мунтеле Хор.
26 and strip Aaron of his garments, and you have clothed his son Eleazar [with] them, and Aaron is gathered, and dies there.”
Дезбракэ пе Аарон де вешминтеле луй ши ымбракэ пе фиул сэу Елеазар ку еле. Аколо ва фи адэугат Аарон ла попорул луй ши ва мури.”
27 And Moses does as YHWH has commanded, and they go up to Mount Hor before the eyes of all the congregation,
Мойсе а фэкут че-й порунчисе Домнул. С-ау суит пе мунтеле Хор, ын фаца ынтреӂий адунэрь.
28 and Moses strips Aaron of his garments, and clothes his son Eleazar with them, and Aaron dies there on the top of the mountain; and Moses comes down—Eleazar also—from the mountain,
Мойсе а дезбрэкат пе Аарон де вешминтеле луй ши а ымбрэкат ку еле пе фиул сэу Елеазар. Аарон а мурит аколо, пе вырфул мунтелуй. Мойсе ши Елеазар с-ау коборыт де пе мунте.
29 and all the congregation sees that Aaron has expired, and all the house of Israel laments Aaron [for] thirty days.
Тоатэ адунаря а вэзут кэ Аарон мурисе ши тоатэ каса луй Исраел а плынс пе Аарон трейзечь де зиле.
