< Numbers 15 >
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you come into the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you,
“Wuo gi jo-Israel kendo iwachnegi ni, ‘Bangʼ ka usedonjo e piny mamiyouni kaka kar dak
3 then you have prepared a fire-offering to YHWH, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice, for separating a vow or free-will offering, or in your appointed things, to make a refreshing fragrance to YHWH, out of the herd or out of the flock.
kendo uchiwone Jehova Nyasaye misengini miwangʼo pep koa kuom kweth mag dhok kata mag jamni, kaka gima dungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar mamoro Jehova Nyasaye bed ni gin misengini miwangʼo pep, chiwo mar hera, chiwo mag kwongʼruok kata mago mag nyasi.
4 And he who is bringing his offering near to YHWH has brought a present near of a tenth part of flour mixed with a fourth of the hin of oil;
Bangʼe ngʼama kelo chiwo mare nokelne Jehova Nyasaye chiwo mar cham maromo achiel kuom apar mar efa mar mogo mayom moruw gi achiel kuom angʼwen mar lita mar mo.
5 and you prepare a fourth of the hin of wine for a drink-offering, with the burnt-offering or for the sacrifice, for one lamb;
Bende nyaka uchiw achiel kuom angʼwen mar lita mar divai mondo obed misango miolo piny kuom nyarombo ka nyarombo mutimogo misango miwangʼo pep kata misango mar nyasi.
6 or for a ram you prepare a present of two-tenth parts of flour mixed with a third of the hin of oil;

kendo uchiw lita achiel gi nus mar divai kaka misango miolo piny. Kamano e kaka unuchiwne Jehova Nyasaye misango madungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar ne Jehova Nyasaye.
8 And when you make a son of the herd a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for separating a vow, or peace-offerings to YHWH,
“‘To ka en nyarwath ema utimogo ne Jehova Nyasaye misango miwangʼo pep, kata misango mar sawo, kaka singruok mowal kata chiwo mar lalruok ne Jehova Nyasaye,

10 and you bring a half of the hin of wine near for a drink-offering, [for] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;

11 thus it is done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb of the sheep or of the goats.
Rwath ka rwath, im ka im, rombo ka rombo, kata nyadiel ka nyadiel, nyaka losi e yo machal kamano.
12 According to the number that you prepare, so you do to each, according to their number;
Timuru ma ne misengini duto mag jamni moro ka moro.
13 every native does thus with these, for bringing a fire-offering near of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;
“‘Ngʼato angʼata monywol e pinyni ma ja-Israel nyaka tim gigi, ka okelo chiwo molos gi mach kaka gima dungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar mamoro Jehova Nyasaye.
14 and when a sojourner sojourns with you, or whoever [is] in your midst throughout your generations, and he has made a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH, as you do so he does.
To ne tiengʼ mabiro, kinde duto ma japiny moro kata ngʼato angʼata modak e kindu okelo misango molos gi mach kaka gima dungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar mamoro Jehova Nyasaye, nyaka otim mana kaka utimo.
15 One statute is for you of the congregation and for the sojourner who is sojourning, a continuous statute throughout your generations: as you [are] so is the sojourner before YHWH;

Chik achiel ema omakou machalre gi jopinje mamoko modak e dieru.’”
17 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
18 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: In your coming into the land to where I am bringing you in,
“Wuo gi jo-Israel kendo iwachnegi kama: ‘Ka udonjo e piny ma ateroue,
19 then it has been, in your eating of the bread of the land, you raise up a raised-offering to YHWH;
kendo uchamo chiemb pinyno, to uchiw bathe moko kaka misango ne Jehova Nyasaye.
20 you raise up a cake of the first of your dough [as] a raised-offering; as the raised-offering of a threshing-floor, so you raise it up.
Chiw cham moa e nyak mokwongo mar lopi kendo ichiwe kaka misango moa e laru mar dino cham.
21 You give to YHWH from the first of your dough [as] a raised-offering throughout your generations.
E tienge duto mabiro nyaka ugol misangoni ne Jehova Nyasaye koa e nyak mokwongo mar lopi.
22 And when you err, and do not do all these commands which YHWH has spoken to Moses—
“‘Ka e kia maru ok urito chike mane Jehova Nyasaye omiyo Musa,
23 the whole that YHWH has charged on you by the hand of Moses, from the day that YHWH has commanded and from now on, throughout your generations—
ma gin chike mane omiyou kokalo kuome, chakre e kinde mane Jehova Nyasaye ochiwogie kendo ka gidhi nyime nyaka e tienge mabiro;
24 then it has been, if from the eyes of the congregation it has been done through ignorance, that all the congregation has prepared one bullock, a son of the herd, for a burnt-offering, for refreshing fragrance to YHWH, and its present, and its drink-offering, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.
to ka ma otim maonge chenro ka oganda ok ongʼeyo, to oganda duto nochiw nyarwath matin kaka misango miwangʼo pep ma en gima dungʼ tik mangʼwe ngʼar mamoro Jehova Nyasaye, kaachiel gi chiwo mar cham kod misango miolo piny, kod nywok kaka misango mar golo richo.
25 And the priest has made atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and it has been forgiven them, for it [is] ignorance, and they have brought in their offering, a fire-offering to YHWH, and their sin-offering before YHWH for their ignorance;
Jadolo notim pwodhoruok ne oganda duto mag jo-Israel, kendo nowenegi richogi, nimar ne ok gingʼeyo gima negitimo kendo gisekelone Jehova Nyasaye misango mowangʼ pep kuom ketho margi kod misango mar golo richo.
26 and it has been forgiven to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and to the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst, for that all the people [did it] through ignorance.
Oganda duto mag jo-Israel kod jopinje mamoko manie dieru nowenegi richogi, nikech ji duto notimo richo ka ok gingʼeyo.
27 And if one person sins through ignorance, then he has brought a female goat near, daughter of a year, for a sin-offering;
“‘To ka ngʼato achiel ema otimo richo ka ok ongʼeyo, to nyaka ochiw diel madhako ma ja-higa achiel kaka misango mar golo richo.
28 and the priest has made atonement for the person who is erring, in his sinning through ignorance before YHWH, by making atonement for him, and it has been forgiven him;
Jadolo notim pwodhruok e nyim Jehova Nyasaye ne ngʼatno motimo richo ka ok ongʼeyo, kendo ka osetimne pwodhruok, nowene richo.
29 one law is for yourselves—for the native among the sons of Israel and for the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst—for him who is doing [anything] through ignorance.
Chik achielno ema oket ne ngʼato angʼata motimo richo ka ok ongʼeyo, bed ni en jakanyo ma ja-Israel kata japiny moro.
30 And the person who does [evil] with a high hand—of the native or of the sojourner—he is reviling YHWH, and that person has been cut off from the midst of his people;
“‘To ka ngʼato otimo richo gi wangʼ matek, bed ni en japinyno kata japiny moro, to ojaro Jehova Nyasaye, kendo ngʼat makamano onego ogol oko e dier jogi.
31 because he despised the word of YHWH and has broken His command, that person is certainly cut off; his iniquity [is] on him.”
Nikech osejaro wach Jehova Nyasaye kendo oketho chikene, ngʼatno nyaka gol oko; kendo richo mare nodongʼ e wiye.’”
32 And the sons of Israel are in the wilderness, and they find a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day,
Kane jo-Israel ne nitie e thim, ngʼat moro noyud ka modo yien chiengʼ Sabato.
33 and those finding him gathering wood bring him near to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation,
Joma ne oyude ka omodo yien nokele ir Musa gi Harun kod chokruok duto,
34 and they place him in confinement, for it [is] not explained what is [to be] done to him.
kendo ne gikane e od twech, nikech ne ok ongʼere malongʼo gima onego timne.
35 And YHWH says to Moses, “The man is certainly put to death [by] all the congregation stoning him with stones at the outside of the camp.”
Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya, “Ngʼatno nyaka negi. Chokruok duto nyaka chiele gi kite e oko mar kambi.”
36 And all the congregation brings him out to the outside of the camp and stone him with stones, and he dies, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Omiyo ogandago nogole oko mar kambi kendo negichiele gi kite motho, mana kaka Jehova Nyasaye nochiko Musa.
37 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya,
38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have commanded to them, and they have made fringes on the skirts of their garments for themselves, throughout their generations, and they have put a ribbon of blue on the fringe of the skirt,
“Wuo gi jo-Israel kendo iwachnegi kama: ‘Ne tiengʼ duto mabiro nyaka umin usi e riak lepu ka usi moro ka moro olwor gi kido marambulu.
39 and it has been to you for a fringe, and you have seen it, and have remembered all the commands of YHWH, and have done them, and you do not search after your heart and after your eyes, after which you are going whoring,
Usi momin molier e riak lepugo nomi unupar chike duto mag Jehova Nyasaye, mondo omi uritgi ma ok uteroru gi gombo mag chunjeu kod wengeu uwegi.
40 so that you remember and have done all My commands, and you have been holy to your God.
Bangʼ mano unupar mar rito chikena duto kendo nowalu tenge ne Nyasachu.
41 I [am] your God YHWH, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt to become your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
An e Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu, mane ogolou Misri mondo obed Nyasachu. An Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachu.’”
