< Numbers 15 >

1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
BOEIPA loh Moses tea voek tih,
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you come into the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you,
“'Kai loh nangmih taengah kam paek ham na tolrhum khohmuen lana pawk uh vaengah, Israel carhoek te voek lamtah amih te thui pah.
3 then you have prepared a fire-offering to YHWH, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice, for separating a vow or free-will offering, or in your appointed things, to make a refreshing fragrance to YHWH, out of the herd or out of the flock.
BOEIPA taengah hmueihhlutnah hmaihlutnah khaw, olcaeng soep sak ham hmueih khaw, kothoh ham khaw, na khoning ham nawn pah. Saelhungkhui lamkah khaw, boivakhui lamkah khaw, BOEIPA taengah hmuehmuei la botui nawn.
4 And he who is bringing his offering near to YHWH has brought a present near of a tenth part of flour mixed with a fourth of the hin of oil;
BOEIPA taengah amah kah nawnnah aka khuen long tah situi bunang pali neha thoek khocang vaidam dohte khuen saeh.
5 and you prepare a fourth of the hin of wine for a drink-offering, with the burnt-offering or for the sacrifice, for one lamb;
Tuisi la misurtui bunang paliah hmoel pah. Hmueihhlutnah neh hmueih ham khaw tuca neh rhip saii.
6 or for a ram you prepare a present of two-tenth parts of flour mixed with a third of the hin of oil;
Tutal ham tah situi bunang pathum neha thoek khocang vaidam doh nit hmoel pah.
7 and you bring a third part of the hin of wine near for a drink-offering—a refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
Tuisi ham misurtui bunang khoi thumte BOEIPA taengah hmuehmuei botui la nawn.
8 And when you make a son of the herd a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for separating a vow, or peace-offerings to YHWH,
Hmaihhlutnah saelhung ca khaw, olcaeng aka soep sak ham hmueih khaw, BOEIPA taengah rhoepnah khaw saii.
9 then he has brought near for the son of the herd a present of three-tenth parts of flour mixed with a half of the hin of oil;
Saelhung ca nen tah situi bunang ngancawn neha thoek khocang vaidam doh thumte khuen saeh.
10 and you bring a half of the hin of wine near for a drink-offering, [for] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;
Tuisi ham misurtui bunang ngancawnah khuen lamtah hmaihlutnah khaw BOEIPA taengah hmuehmuei botui la nawn.
11 thus it is done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb of the sheep or of the goats.
Vaito ham pakhat, tutal ham khaw pakhat neh tu ham khaw tucakhui lamkah khaw maaekhui lamkah khaw hmoel saeh.
12 According to the number that you prepare, so you do to each, according to their number;
Hlangmi tarhing ah na saii te a hlangmi bangla pakhat rhip ham saii tangloeng.
13 every native does thus with these, for bringing a fire-offering near of refreshing fragrance to YHWH;
Tolrhum mupoe boeih loh he he saii kuekluek saeh lamtah tah terhoek te BOEIPA taengkah hmaihlutnah hmuehmuei botui la khuen saeh.
14 and when a sojourner sojourns with you, or whoever [is] in your midst throughout your generations, and he has made a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH, as you do so he does.
Nangmih taengah aka bakuep yinlai khaw namamih khui kah bangla na cadilcahma ham hmaihlutnahte BOEIPA taengah hmuehmuei botui la nawn saeh lamtah na saii uh bangla saii van saeh.
15 One statute is for you of the congregation and for the sojourner who is sojourning, a continuous statute throughout your generations: as you [are] so is the sojourner before YHWH;
Hlangping kah khosing he nangmih ham neh yinlai aka bakuep ham khaw pakhat la om saeh. Na cadilcahma kah kumhal khosing nen khaw yinlaite BOEIPA mikhmuh ah nangmih bangla om van saeh.
16 one law and one ordinance is for you and for the sojourner who is sojourning with you.”
Nangmih ham neh nangmih taengah aka bakuep yinlai ham he olkhueng pakhat neh laitloeknah pakhat mah om saeh,’ ti nah,” a ti nah.
17 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
18 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: In your coming into the land to where I am bringing you in,
“Israel carhoek te voek lamtah amih te, 'Kai loh nangmih kam pawk khohmuen la na pawk uh tih,
19 then it has been, in your eating of the bread of the land, you raise up a raised-offering to YHWH;
khohmuen kah buh te na caak vaengah BOEIPA taengah khosaa tloeng uh.
20 you raise up a cake of the first of your dough [as] a raised-offering; as the raised-offering of a threshing-floor, so you raise it up.
Na buhhuem tanglue vaidam laepte khocang la tloeng uh lamtah cangtilhmuen kah khocang bangla tloeng uh.
21 You give to YHWH from the first of your dough [as] a raised-offering throughout your generations.
Nangmih kah buhhuem tangluekhui lamkahte na cadilcahma due BOEIPA taengah khocang la pae uh.
22 And when you err, and do not do all these commands which YHWH has spoken to Moses—
Tedaena palang dongah BOEIPA loh Moses taengaha thui olpaek he boeihna vai uh moenih.
23 the whole that YHWH has charged on you by the hand of Moses, from the day that YHWH has commanded and from now on, throughout your generations—
Te boeih te BOEIPA loh Moses kut dongah nangmih te ng'uen. Te khohnin lamkah BOEIPAloh a uen hea voel kah na cadilcahma ham hil pawn ni.
24 then it has been, if from the eyes of the congregation it has been done through ignorance, that all the congregation has prepared one bullock, a son of the herd, for a burnt-offering, for refreshing fragrance to YHWH, and its present, and its drink-offering, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.
Rhaengpuei mik lamloh laa saii khaming, te vaengah rhaengpuei pum loh hmueihhlutnah ham saelhung ca vaito pumat neh, a laitloeknah bangla a khocang neh a tuisi khaw, boirhaem la maae ca pumat te, BOEIPA taengah hmuehmuei botui la nawn uh saeh.
25 And the priest has made atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and it has been forgiven them, for it [is] ignorance, and they have brought in their offering, a fire-offering to YHWH, and their sin-offering before YHWH for their ignorance;
Khosoih loh Israel ca rhaengpuei boeih hama dawth pah daengah ni tohtamaeh dongah khaw amih te khodawk a ngai eh. Te vaengah amih loh amamih kah nawnnah te BOEIPA taengah hmaihlutnah la khuen uh saeh. Amih kah tohtamaeh dongah amamih kah boirhaemte BOEIPA mikhmuh ah tloeng uh saeh.
26 and it has been forgiven to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and to the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst, for that all the people [did it] through ignorance.
Te daengah ni Israel ca rhaengpuei boeih ham neh amih lakli ah aka bakuep yinlai ham, tohtamaeh khuikah pilnam cungkuem ham khodawk a ngai eh.
27 And if one person sins through ignorance, then he has brought a female goat near, daughter of a year, for a sin-offering;
Hinglu pakhat long he tohtamaeh laa tholh khaming, te vaengah maae la kum khat ca te boirhaem la khuen saeh.
28 and the priest has made atonement for the person who is erring, in his sinning through ignorance before YHWH, by making atonement for him, and it has been forgiven him;
BOEIPA mik ah tohtamaeh kah hlangtholh la aka taengphael hinglu ham khosoih dawth pah saeh. Anih ham adawth pah daengah ni anih te khodawk a ngai eh.
29 one law is for yourselves—for the native among the sons of Israel and for the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst—for him who is doing [anything] through ignorance.
Israel ca lamkah mupoe neh a khui kah aka bakuep yinlai ham khaw tohtamaeh laa saii vaengkah olkhueng he nangmih taengah pakhat la om saeh.
30 And the person who does [evil] with a high hand—of the native or of the sojourner—he is reviling YHWH, and that person has been cut off from the midst of his people;
Tedae kut thueng neh aka saii hinglu tah mupoe khaw, yinlai khaw BOEIPA ni a hliphen. Te dongah tekah hinglute a pilnam khui lamloh hnawt pah saeh.
31 because he despised the word of YHWH and has broken His command, that person is certainly cut off; his iniquity [is] on him.”
BOEIPA ol te a sawtsit tih a olpaek tea phae dongah amah sokah amah kathaesainah bangla a hinglute hnawt rhoe hnawt pah saeh,” a ti nah.
32 And the sons of Israel are in the wilderness, and they find a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day,
Israel ca rhoek te khosoek aha om uh vaengah Sabbath hnin ah thing aka coi hlang te a hmuh uh.
33 and those finding him gathering wood bring him near to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation,
Te dongah thing aka coi amah te aka hmu rhoek loh Moses, Aaron taeng neh rhaengpuei boeih taenglaa khuen uh.
34 and they place him in confinement, for it [is] not explained what is [to be] done to him.
Tedae anih taengah metla saii ham khaw a puk pawt dongah thongim khuilaa up uh.
35 And YHWH says to Moses, “The man is certainly put to death [by] all the congregation stoning him with stones at the outside of the camp.”
Te vaengah BOEIPA loh Moses taengah, “Tekah hlangte duek rhoe duek saeh, anih te rhaehhmuen vongvoel ah rhaengpuei pum loh lungto neh dae uh saeh,” a ti nah.
36 And all the congregation brings him out to the outside of the camp and stone him with stones, and he dies, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Te dongah anih te rhaengpuei pum loh rhaehhmuen vongvoel laa khuen uh tih lungto neha dae uh dongah BOEIPA loh Mosesa uen vanbangla duek.
37 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
BOEIPA loh Moses tea voek tih,
38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have commanded to them, and they have made fringes on the skirts of their garments for themselves, throughout their generations, and they have put a ribbon of blue on the fringe of the skirt,
“Israel carhoek te voek lamtah amih te thui pah. Amih ham maelawte a cadilcahma due a himbai hmoi ah saii uh saeh lamtah hamnak hmoi kah maelaw dongaha thim khueh uh saeh.
39 and it has been to you for a fringe, and you have seen it, and have remembered all the commands of YHWH, and have done them, and you do not search after your heart and after your eyes, after which you are going whoring,
40 so that you remember and have done all My commands, and you have been holy to your God.
Kai kah olpaek cungkuem hena poek uh tihna ngai uh daengah ni na Pathen taengaha cim la na om uh eh.
41 I [am] your God YHWH, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt to become your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Kai tah nangmih kah Pathen la om ham Egypt kho lamloh nangmih aka khuen nangmih kah Pathen Yahweh ni. Kai tah nangmih kah Pathen Yahweh ni,” a ti nah.
