Numbers 11
1 And the people are evil, as those sighing habitually in the ears of YHWH, and YHWH hears, and His anger burns, and the fire of YHWH burns among them, and consumes in the extremity of the camp.
És lőn, hogy panaszolkodék a nép az Úr hallására, hogy rosszul van dolga. És meghallá az Úr, és haragra gerjede, és felgyullada ellenök az Úrnak tüze és megemészté a tábornak szélét.
2 And the people cry to Moses, and Moses prays to YHWH, and the fire is quenched;
Kiálta azért a nép Mózeshez, és könyörge Mózes az Úrnak, és megszünék a tűz.
3 and he calls the name of that place Taberah, for the fire of YHWH has “burned” among them.
És nevezé azt a helyet Thaberának; mert felgyulladt vala ellenök az Úrnak tüze.
4 And the rabble who [are] in its midst have lusted greatly, and the sons of Israel also turn back and weep, and say, “Who gives us flesh?
De a gyülevész nép, a mely köztök vala, kívánságba esék, és Izráel fiai is újra síránkozni kezdének, és mondának: Kicsoda ád nékünk húst ennünk?
5 We have remembered the fish which we eat in Egypt for nothing, the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
Visszaemlékezünk a halakra, a melyeket ettünk Égyiptomban ingyen, az ugorkákra és dinnyékre, a párhagymákra, vereshagymákra és a foghagymákra.
6 and now our soul [is] dry, there is not anything, except the manna, before our eyes.”
Most pedig a mi lelkünk eleped, mindennek híjával lévén; szemünk előtt nincs egyéb mint manna.
7 And the manna is as coriander seed, and its aspect as the aspect of bdellium;
(A manna pedig olyan vala mint a kóriándrum magva, a színe pedig mint a bdelliomnak színe.
8 the people have turned aside and gathered [it], and ground [it] with millstones, or beat [it] in a mortar, and boiled [it] in a pan, and made it cakes, and its taste has been as the taste of the moisture of oil.
Kiomol vala pedig a nép, és szedik vala a mannát, és őrlik vala kézimalmokban, vagy megtörik vala mozsárban, és megfőzik vala fazékban, és csinálnak vala abból pogácsákat: az íze pedig olyan vala, mint az olajos kalácsé.
9 And in the descending of the dew on the camp by night, the manna descends on it.
Mikor pedig a harmat leszáll vala a táborra éjjel, a manna is mindjárt leszáll vala arra.)
10 And Moses hears the people weeping by its families, each at the opening of his tent, and the anger of YHWH burns exceedingly, and in the eyes of Moses [it is] evil.
És meghallá Mózes, hogy sír a nép, az ő nemzetsége szerint, kiki az ő sátorának nyílása előtt; és igen felgerjede az Úr haragja, és nem tetszék az Mózesnek.
11 And Moses says to YHWH, “Why have You done evil to Your servant? And why have I not found grace in Your eyes—to put the burden of all this people on me?
És monda Mózes az Úrnak: Miért nyomorítád meg a te szolgádat? és miért nem találék kegyelmet a te szemeid előtt, hogy ez egész népnek terhét én reám vetéd?
12 I—have I conceived all this people? I—have I begotten it, that You say to me, Carry it in your bosom, as the one supporting carries the nursing suckling, to the ground which You have sworn to its fathers?
Avagy tőlem fogantatott-e mind ez egész nép? avagy én szűltem-e őt, hogy azt mondod nékem: Hordozd őt a te kebleden, a miképen hordozza a dajka a csecsemőt, arra a földre, a mely felől megesküdtél az ő atyáinak?
13 From where do I have flesh to give to all this people? For they weep to me, saying, Give flesh to us, and we eat.
Hol vegyek én húst, hogy adjam azt mind ez egész népnek? mert reám sírnak, mondván: Adj nékünk húst, hadd együnk!
14 I am not able—I alone—to bear all this people, for [it is] too heavy for me;
Nem viselhetem én magam mind ez egész népet; mert erőm felett van.
15 and if thus You are doing to me—please slay me; slay, if I have found grace in your eyes, and do not let me look on my affliction.”
Ha így cselekszel velem, kérlek ölj meg engemet, ölj meg ha kedves vagyok előtted, hogy ne lássam az én nyomorúságomat.
16 And YHWH says to Moses, “Gather to Me seventy men from [the] elderly of Israel, whom you have known that they are [the] elderly of the people, and its authorities; and you have taken them to the Tent of Meeting, and they have stationed themselves there with you,
Monda azért az Úr Mózesnek: Gyűjts egybe nékem hetven férfiút Izráel vénei közül, a kikről tudod, hogy vénei a népnek és annak előljárói, és vidd őket a gyülekezet sátorához, és álljanak ott veled.
17 and I have come down and spoken with you there, and have kept back of the Spirit which [is] on you, and have put [that One] on them, and they have borne some of the burden of the people with you, and you do not bear [it] alone.
Akkor alá szállok, és szólok ott veled, és elszakasztok abból a lélekből, a mely te benned van, és teszem ő beléjök, hogy viseljék te veled a népnek terhét, és ne viseljed te magad.
18 And you say to the people: Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, and you have eaten flesh, for you have wept in the ears of YHWH, saying, Who gives us flesh? For we [had] good in Egypt; and YHWH has given flesh to you, and you have eaten.
A népnek pedig mondd meg: Készítsétek el magatokat holnapra, és húst esztek; mert sírtatok az Úr hallására, mondván: Kicsoda ád nékünk húst ennünk? mert jobban vala nékünk dolgunk Égyiptomban. Azért az Úr ád néktek húst és enni fogtok.
19 You do not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,
Nem csak egy napon esztek, sem két napon, sem öt napon, sem tíz napon, sem húsz napon;
20 [but] even to a month of days, until it comes out from your nostrils, and it has become an abomination to you, because that you have loathed YHWH, who [is] in your midst, and weep before Him, saying, Why is this [that] we have come out of Egypt!”
Hanem egy egész hónapig, míglen kijön az orrotokon, és útálatossá lesz előttetek; mivelhogy megvetettétek az Urat, a ki közöttetek van; és sírtatok ő előtte mondván: Miért jöttünk ide ki Égyiptomból?
21 And Moses says, “Six hundred thousand footmen [are] the people in whose midst I [dwell]; and You, You have said, I give flesh to them, and they have eaten [for] a month of days!
És monda Mózes: Hatszáz ezer gyalogos e nép, a mely között én vagyok, és te azt mondod: Húst adok nékik, és esznek egy egész hónapig?!
22 Is flock and herd slaughtered for them, that one has found [enough] for them? Are all the fishes of the sea gathered for them, that one has found [enough] for them?”
Nemde juhok és ökrök vágattatnak-é nékik, hogy elég legyen nékik? vagy a tengernek minden hala összegyűjtetik-é nékik, hogy elég legyen nékik?
23 And YHWH says to Moses, “Has the hand of YHWH become short? Now you see whether My word meets you or not.”
Akkor monda az Úr Mózesnek: Avagy megrövidült-é az Úrnak keze? Majd meglátod: beteljesedik-é néked az én beszédem vagy nem?
24 And Moses goes out, and speaks the words of YHWH to the people, and gathers seventy men from [the] elderly of the people, and causes them to stand around the tent,
Kiméne azért Mózes, és elmondá a népnek az Úr beszédét, és összegyűjte hetven férfiút a nép vénei közül, és állatá őket a sátor körül.
25 and YHWH comes down in the cloud, and speaks to him, and keeps back of the Spirit which [is] on him, and puts [that One] on the seventy elderly men; and it comes to pass at the resting of the Spirit on them, that they prophesy, and they have never done [so] again.
Akkor leszálla az Úr felhőben, és szóla néki, és elszakaszta abból a lélekből, a mely vala ő benne, és adá a hetven vén férfiúba. Mihelyt pedig megnyugovék ő rajtok a lélek, menten prófétálának, de nem többé.
26 And two of the men are left in the camp, the name of the first [is] Eldad and the name of the second Medad, and the spirit rests on them (and they are among those written, but they have not gone out to the tent), and they prophesy in the camp;
Két férfiú azonban elmaradt vala a táborban; egyiknek neve Eldád, a másiknak neve Médád, és ezeken is megnyugodott vala a lélek; mert azok is az összeírottak közül valók, de nem mentek vala el a sátorhoz, és mégis prófétálának a táborban.
27 and the young man runs, and declares [it] to Moses, and says, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
Elfutamodék azért egy ifjú, és megjelenté Mózesnek, és monda: Eldád és Médád prófétálnak a táborban.
28 And Joshua son of Nun, minister of Moses, [one] of his young men, answers and says, “My lord Moses, restrain them.”
Akkor felele Józsué, a Nún fia, Mózes szolgája, az ő választottai közül való, és monda: Uram, Mózes, tiltsd meg őket!
29 And Moses says to him, “Are you zealous for me? O that all YHWH’s people were prophets! That YHWH would put His Spirit on them!”
És felele néki Mózes: Avagy érettem buzgólkodol-é? Vajha az Úrnak minden népe próféta volna, hogy adná az Úr az ő lelkét ő beléjök.
30 And Moses is gathered to the camp, he and [the] elderly of Israel.
Ezután visszatére Mózes a táborba, ő és az Izráel vénei.
31 And a spirit has journeyed from YHWH, and cuts off quails from the sea, and leaves [them] by the camp, as a day’s journey here and as a day’s journey there, around the camp, and about two cubits above the face of the land.
És szél jöve ki az Úrtól, és hoza fürjeket a tengertől, és bocsátá a táborra egynapi járásnyira egy felől, és egynapi járásnyira más felől a tábor körül, és mintegy két sing magasságnyira a földnek színén.
32 And the people rise all that day, and all the night, and all the day after, and gather the quails—he who has least has gathered ten homers—and they spread them out for themselves around the camp.
Akkor felkele a nép és azon az egész napon, és egész éjjel, és az egész következő napon gyűjtének magoknak fürjeket, a ki keveset gyűjtött is, gyűjtött tíz hómert, és kiteregeték azokat magoknak a tábor körül.
33 The flesh is yet between their teeth—it is not yet cut off—and the anger of YHWH has burned among the people, and YHWH strikes [with] a very great striking among the people;
A hús még foguk között vala, és meg sem emésztették vala, a mikor az Úrnak haragja felgerjede a népre és megveré az Úr a népet igen nagy csapással.
34 and [one] calls the name of that place Kibroth-Hattaavah, for there they have buried the people who lust.
És elnevezék azt a helyet Kibrot-thaavának: mert ott temeték el a mohó népet.
35 From Kibroth-Hattaavah the people have journeyed to Hazeroth, and they are in Hazeroth.
Kibrot-thaavától elméne a nép Haseróthba; és ott valának Haseróthban.
