Numbers 10
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 “Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;
Mache dir zwei Trompeten von Silber; von getriebener Arbeit sollst du sie machen, auf daß sie dir seien zur Zusammenberufung der Gemeinde und zum Aufbrechen der Lager.
3 and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
Und stößt man in sie, so soll die ganze Gemeinde zum Eingang des Versammlungszeltes zu dir zusammenkommen.
4 And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;
Und stoßen sie in eine, so sollen die Fürsten, die Häupter der Tausende Israels zu dir zusammenkommen.
5 and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.
Und blaset ihr Lärm, so sollen die Lager aufbrechen, die vorn gelagert sind.
6 And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.
Und blaset ihr Lärm zum zweitenmal, so brechen die Lager auf, die zur rechten lagern. Für die Aufbrüche sollen sie Lärm blasen.
7 And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;
Und wenn ihr zur Versammlung versammelt, sollt ihr hineinstoßen und nicht Lärm blasen.
8 and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.
Und die Söhne Aharons, die Priester, sollen in die Trompeten stoßen, und sie sollen euch zu einer ewigen Satzung sein für eure Geschlechter.
9 And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.
Und wenn ihr in den Streit einziehet in eurem Land wider den Dränger, der euch bedrängt, so sollt ihr mit den Trompeten Lärm blasen, und euer wird vor Jehovah, eurem Gott, gedacht, auf daß ihr von euren Feinden gerettet werdet.
10 And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Und an den Tagen eurer Fröhlichkeit und an euren Festzeiten und an euren Neumonden, da sollt ihr in die Trompeten stoßen über euren Brandopfern und über euren Dank- opfern, und sie werden zum Andenken an euch vor eurem Gott sein. Ich, Jehovah, bin euer Gott.
11 And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,
Und es geschah im zweiten Jahr, im zweiten Monat, am zwanzigsten des Monats, daß die Wolke von der Wohnung des Zeugnisses aufstieg.
12 and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;
Und die Söhne Israels brachen auf nach ihren Wanderungen aus der Wüste Sinai, und die Wolke weilte in der Wüste Paran.
13 and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.
Und sie brachen zuerst auf nach dem Befehl Jehovahs durch Moses Hand:
14 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.
Und zuerst brach auf das Banner des Lagers der Söhne Judahs nach seinen Heerscharen, und über sein Heer war Nachschon, der Sohn Amminadabs.
15 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Issaschars Nethaneel, der Sohn Zuars.
16 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Sebuluns Eliab, der Sohn Chelons.
17 And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.
Und die Wohnung ward abgenommen, und die Söhne Gerschons brachen auf und die Söhne Meraris, welche die Wohnung trugen.
18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.
Und das Banner von Rubens Lager nach seinen Heerscharen brach auf. Und über ihr Heer war Elizur, Schedeurs Sohn.
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Simeons Schelumiel, der Sohn Zurischaddais.
20 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Gads Eljasaph, der Sohn Deguels.
21 And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.
Und es brachen die Kohathiten auf, die das Heiligtum trugen. Und sie richteten die Wohnung auf, bis diese kamen.
22 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.
Und das Banner des Lagers der Söhne Ephraims brach auf nach seinen Heerscharen, und über sein Heer war Elischama, der Sohn Ammihuds;
23 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Menaschehs Gamliel, der Sohn Pedahzurs.
24 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Benjamins Abidan, Sohn Gideonis;
25 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
Und das Banner des Lagers der Söhne Dans brach auf, als Nachzug für alle Lager nach ihren Heerscharen, und über sein Heer war Achieser, der Sohn Ammischaddais,
26 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Aschers Pagiel, Sohn Ochrans.
27 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.
Und über das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Naphthalis, Achira, der Sohn Enans.
28 These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.
Dies sind die Wanderzüge der Söhne Israels nach ihren Heerscharen; und sie brachen auf.
29 And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”
Und Mose sprach zu Chobab, dem Sohne Reguels, dem Midianiter, Moses Schwager: Wir brechen auf nach dem Orte, von dem uns Jehovah sprach: Ich will ihn euch geben. Geh mit uns, so wollen wir dir Gutes tun; denn Jehovah hat Gutes geredet über Israel.
30 And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”
Und er sprach zu ihm: Ich will nicht gehen; sondern ich will in mein Land und in meinen Geburtsort gehen.
31 And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;
Und er sprach: Verlaß uns doch nicht; denn du weißt, wo wir uns lagern in der Wüste, und sollst unser Auge sein.
32 and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”
Und es soll geschehen, wenn du mit uns gehst, und das Gute uns wird, das Jehovah an uns Gutes tun will, so wollen wir dir Gutes tun.
33 And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;
Und sie brachen auf vom Berge Jehovahs drei Tagereisen, und die Bundeslade Jehovahs brach auf vor ihnen her drei Tagreisen, um ihnen eine Ruhestätte auszuspähen.
34 and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.
Und die Wolke Jehovahs war über ihnen bei Tag, wenn sie vom Lager aufbrachen.
35 And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”
Und es geschah, wenn die Lade aufbrach, daß Mose sprach: Mache dich auf, Jehovah, daß Deine Feinde sich zerstreuen und Deine Hasser vor Dir fliehen!
36 And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
Und wenn sie ruhte, sprach er: Kehre zurück, Jehovah, zu den Zehntausenden der Tausende Israels.
