Numbers 10
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Und Jahwe redete mit Mose also:
2 “Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;
Fertige dir zwei Trompeten an - in getriebener Arbeit sollst du sie anfertigen -, damit sie dir dienen zur Einberufung der Gemeinde, und wenn die Lager aufbrechen sollen.
3 and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
Wenn man sie bläst, so hat sich die ganze Gemeinde zu dir zu versammeln vor die Thüre des OffenbarungszeItes.
4 And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;
Wird man aber nur eine blasen, so haben sich die Fürsten, die Stammhäupter IsraeIs, zu dir zu versammeln.
5 and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.
Wenn ihr Lärm blasen werdet, so haben die Lager, die nach Osten zu lagern, aufzubrechen.
6 And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.
Und wenn ihr zum zweiten MaIe Lärm blasen werdet, so haben die Lager, die nach Süden zu lagern, aufzubrechen; Lärm soll man blasen, wenn sie aufbrechen sollen.
7 And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;
Wenn es aber gilt, die Gemeinde zu versammeln, so sollt ihr einfach in die Trompeten stoßen, nicht aber Lärm blasen.
8 and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.
Und zwar sollen die Söhne Aarons, die Priester, die Trompeten blasen, und ihr Gebrauch soll euch als eine für alle Zeit und alle Geschlechter auferlegte Verpflichtung gelten.
9 And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.
Und wenn ihr in eurem Land in Krieg geratet mit dem Feinde, der euch bedrängt, und in die Trompeten stoßt, so wird eurer gedacht werden vor Jahwe, eurem Gotte, daß ihr von euren Feinden errettet werdet.
10 And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Auch an euren Freudentagen, sowie an euren Festen und euren Neumonden, sollt ihr die Trompeten blasen zu euren Brandopfern und zu euren Heilsopfern, daß Sie euch ein gnädiges Gedenken von seiten eures Gottes schaffen; ich bin Jahwe, euer Gott.
11 And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,
Im zweiten Jahre, im zweiten Monat, am zwanzigsten des Monats, erhob sich die Wolke von der Wohnung des Gesetzes.
12 and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;
Da brachen die Israeliten nacheinander auf von der Steppe am Sinai, und die Wolke ließ sich nieder in der Steppe Paran.
13 and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.
So brachen sie zum ersten Mal auf, gemäß dem Befehle Jahwes durch Mose.
14 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.
Und es brach zuerst auf das Panier des Lagers der Söhne Judas, Heerschar für Heerschar; Anführer des zu ihm gehörenden Heers war Nahasson, der Sohn Amminadabs.
15 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.
Das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Issachars befehligte Nethaneel, der Sohn Zuars,
16 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.
das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Sebulons Eliab, der Sohn Helons.
17 And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.
Und wenn die Wohnung abgebrochen war, so brachen die Söhne Gersons und die Söhne Meraris auf, die die Wohnung zu tragen hatten.
18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.
Sodann brach das Panier des Lagers Rubens auf, Heerschar für Heerschar; Anführer des zu ihm gehörenden Heers war Elizur, der Sohn Sedeurs.
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
Das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Simeons befehligte Selumiel, der Sohn Zuri Sadais,
20 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.
das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Gads Eliasaph, der Sohn Deguels.
21 And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.
Sodann brachen die Kahathiter auf, die das Heilige trugen; bis zu ihrer Ankunft hatte man die Wohnung bereits aufgerichtet.
22 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.
Sodann brach das Panier des Lagers der Söhne Ephraims auf, Heerschar für Heerschar; Anführer des zu ihm gehörenden Heers war Elisama, der Sohn Ammihuds.
23 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.
Das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Manasses befehligte Gamliel, der Sohn Pedazurs,
24 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.
das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Benjamins Abidan, der Sohn Gideonis.
25 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
Sodann brach das Panier des Lagers der Söhne Dans auf, das den Beschluß sämtlicher Lager bildete, Heerschar für Heerschar; Anführer des zu ihm gehörenden Heers war Ahieser, der Sohn Ammisadais.
26 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.
Das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Assers befehligte Pagiel, der Sohn Ochrans,
27 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.
das Heer des Stammes der Söhne Naphthalis Ahira, der Sohn Enans.
28 These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.
Das war die Ordnung, in der die Israeliten nacheinander aufbrachen, Heerschar für Heerschar. Als sie nun aufbrachen,
29 And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”
da sprach Mose zu Hobab, dem Sohne Reguels, dem Midianiter, dem Schwiegervater Moses: Wir brechen jetzt auf nach der Stätte, von der Jahwe verheißen hat: ich will sie euch verleihen; ziehe mit uns, so wollen wir dich reichlich bedenken, denn Jahwe hat den Israeliten reiches Gut verheißen!
30 And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”
Er aber erwiderte. Ich mag nicht mitziehen, sondern will in meine Heimat und zu meiner Verwandtschaft gehen.
31 And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;
Da bat er: Laß uns doch nicht im Stich; denn du weißt nun einmal Bescheid, wo wir in der Steppe ein Lager aufschlagen können, und sollst uns als Wegweiser dienen.
32 and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”
Wenn du mit uns ziehst und uns dann all das reiche Gut zu teil wird, mit dem uns Jahwe beschenken will, so wollen wir dich reichlich bedenken.
33 And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;
Da zogen sie vom Berge Jahwes drei Tagereisen weiter; die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes aber zog ihnen voraus drei Tagereisen weit, um einen Lagerplatz für sie zu erspähen.
34 and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.
Und die Wolke Jahwes schwebte am Tage über ihnen, wenn sie aus dem Lager aufbrachen.
35 And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”
Wenn aber die Lade sich in Bewegung setzte, sprach Mose: Mache dich auf, Jahwe, damit deine Feinde zerstieben, und deine Widersacher vor dir fliehen!
36 And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
Und wenn sie den Lagerplatz erreichte, sprach er: Kehre wieder, Jahwe, zu den zehntausendmal Tausenden Israels!
