< Numbers 10 >
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Yehova anawuza Mose kuti,
2 “Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;
“Sula malipenga awiri a siliva, ndipo uziwagwiritsa ntchito posonkhanitsa anthu pamodzi ndiponso powasamutsa mʼmisasa.
3 and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
Pamene akuliza malipenga onse awiri, anthu onse asonkhane kwa iwe pa khomo la tenti ya msonkhano.
4 And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;
Akaliza limodzi lokha, atsogoleri, akulu a mafuko a Aisraeli, asonkhane kwa iwe.
5 and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.
Akaliza lipenga lochenjeza, misasa yomwe ili kummawa iyambe kusamuka.
6 And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.
Akaliza lipenga lochenjeza lachiwiri, misasa yakummwera iyambe kusamuka. Kuliza kwa lipenga lochenjeza kudzakhala chizindikiro choyamba ulendo.
7 And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;
Pofuna kusonkhanitsa anthu, muziliza malipenga, koma mosiyana ndi mmene malipenga ochenjeza amalizidwira.
8 and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.
“Ana a Aaroni, ansembe aja, ndiwo aziliza malipengawo. Zimenezi zikhale zokhazikika kwa inu ndi ku mibado yanu yonse.
9 And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.
Pamene mukupita ku nkhondo mʼdziko lanu lomwe, kulimbana ndi mdani amene akukuzunzani, muziliza malipenga ochenjeza ndipo Yehova Mulungu wanu adzakukumbukirani ndi kukulanditsani mʼmanja mwa adani anu.
10 And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Komanso pa nthawi yanu ya chisangalalo, pa maphwando anu oyikika ndi maphwando a mwezi watsopano, muziliza malipenga pa nsembe zanu zopsereza ndi nsembe zanu za chiyanjano, ndipo zidzakhala chikumbutso chanu pamaso pa Mulungu. Ine ndine Yehova Mulungu wanu.”
11 And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,
Pa chaka chachiwiri, mwezi wachiwiri, tsiku la 20, mtambo unachoka pamwamba pa chihema cha umboni.
12 and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;
Ndipo Aisraeli ananyamuka kuchoka mʼchipululu cha Sinai ndipo anayenda malo osiyanasiyana mpaka pamene mtambo unayima mʼchipululu cha Parani.
13 and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.
Kameneka kanali koyamba kuti Aisraeli anyamuke monga momwe Yehova analamulira Mose.
14 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.
Magulu a msasa wa Yuda ndiwo anayamba kunyamuka potsata mbendera yawo. Mtsogoleri wa gulu lawo anali Naasoni mwana wa Aminadabu.
15 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.
Mtsogoleri wa gulu la fuko la Isakara anali Netanieli mwana wa Zuwara,
16 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.
Eliabu mwana wa Heloni ndiye anali mtsogoleri wa fuko la Zebuloni.
17 And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.
Kenaka anagwetsa chihema, ndipo Ageresoni ndi Amerari amene ananyamula chihemacho, ananyamuka.
18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.
Kenaka magulu a msasa wa fuko la Rubeni ananyamuka potsatira mbendera yawo. Mtsogoleri wawo anali Elizuri mwana wa Sedeuri.
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
Mtsogoleri wa fuko la Simeoni anali Selumieli mwana wa Zurisadai,
20 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.
ndipo Eliyasafu mwana wa Deuweli ndiye ankatsogolera fuko la Gadi.
21 And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.
Kenaka Akohati ananyamuka atanyamula zinthu zopatulika. Chihema chinkayenera kuyimikidwa iwo asanafike.
22 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.
Magulu a msasa wa Aefereimu anatsatira potsatira mbendera yawo. Elisama mwana wa Amihudi ndiye anali mtsogoleri wawo.
23 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.
Gamalieli mwana wa Pedazuri ndiye anali mtsogoleri wa fuko la Manase.
24 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.
Abidani mwana wa Gideoni ndiye anali mtsogoleri wa mtundu wa Benjamini.
25 And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
Pambuyo pa magulu onse panali magulu a msasa wa Dani, omwe ankateteza magulu onsewa ndipo ananyamuka potsatira mbendera yawo. Mtsogoleri wawo anali Ahiyezeri mwana wa Amisadai.
26 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.
Pagieli mwana wa Okirani ndiye anali mtsogoleri wa fuko la Aseri,
27 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.
ndipo mtsogoleri wa mtundu wa Nafutali anali Ahira mwana wa Enani.
28 These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.
Umenewu ndiwo unali mndandanda wa kayendedwe ka magulu a Aisraeli pamene ankanyamuka ulendo wawo mʼmagulumagulu.
29 And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”
Ndipo Mose anawuza Hobabu mwana wa Reueli Mmidiyani, mpongozi wa Mose kuti, “Tikunyamuka kupita ku malo amene Yehova anati, ‘Ndidzakupatsani.’ Tiye upite nafe ndipo tidzakusamalira bwino, pakuti Yehova analonjeza zinthu zabwino kwa Israeli.”
30 And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”
Hobabu anayankha kuti, “Ayi, sindipita nanu, ndibwerera ku dziko la kwathu ndi kwa abale anga.”
31 And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;
Ndipo Mose anati, “Pepa usatisiye popeza ukudziwa kumene tingamange misasa mʼchipululu muno ndipo udzakhala maso athu.
32 and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”
Iweyo ukapita nafe, tidzagawana nawe zinthu zabwino zomwe Yehova adzatipatsa.”
33 And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;
Motero ananyamuka ku Phiri la Yehova nayenda ulendo wa masiku atatu. Bokosi la Chipangano cha Yehova linkayenda patsogolo pawo pa masiku atatuwo kuti apeze malo woti apumulepo.
34 and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.
Mtambo wa Yehova unkawaphimba masana pamene ankasamuka pa misasa yawo.
35 And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”
Nthawi iliyonse imene Bokosi la Chipangano likunyamuka, Mose ankanena kuti, “Dzukani, Inu Yehova! Adani anu abalalike; Odana nanu athawe pamaso panu.
36 And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
“Pamene likupumula, ankanena kuti, “Bwererani, Inu Yehova, ku chinamtindi cha Aisraeli.”
