Nehemiah 7
1 And it comes to pass, when the wall has been built, that I set up the doors, and the gatekeepers are appointed, and the singers, and the Levites,

3 and I say to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the sun, and while they are standing by let them shut the doors, and fasten, and appoint guards of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his watch, and each in front of his house.”

4 And the city [is] broad on both sides, and great, and the people [are] few in its midst, and there are no houses built;

5 and my God puts it to my heart, and I gather the nobles, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a scroll of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it:

17 sons of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two;

18 sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven;
reer Adoniiqaamna lix boqol iyo toddoba iyo lixdan,
19 sons of Bigvai, two thousand sixty-seven;
reer Bigwayna laba kun iyo toddoba iyo lixdan,
20 sons of Adin, six hundred fifty-five;
reer Caadiinna lix boqol iyo shan iyo konton,
21 sons of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety-eight;

22 sons of Hashum, three hundred twenty-eight;
reer Xaashumna saddex boqol iyo siddeed iyo labaatan,
23 sons of Bezai, three hundred twenty-four;
reer Beesayna saddex boqol iyo afar iyo labaatan,
24 sons of Hariph, one hundred [and] twelve;
reer Xaariifna boqol iyo laba iyo toban,
25 sons of Gibeon, ninety-five;
reer Gibecoonna shan iyo sagaashan,
26 men of Beth-Lehem and Netophah, one hundred eighty-eight;

27 men of Anathoth, one hundred twenty-eight;

29 men of Kirjath-Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty-three;

30 men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty-one;

31 men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two;

32 men of Bethel and Ai, one hundred twenty-three;
raggii reer Beytel iyo reer Aaciina boqol iyo saddex iyo labaatan,
33 men of the other Nebo, fifty-two;

34 sons of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;

iyo reer Yacalaa, iyo reer Darqoon, iyo reer Giddeel,
59 sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Amon.
iyo reer Shefatyaah, iyo reer Xatiil, iyo reer Fokered Hasebaayiim, iyo reer Aamoon.
60 All the Nethinim and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
Oo reer Netiiniim oo dhan iyo ilmihii addoommadii Sulaymaan waxay isku ahaayeen saddex boqol iyo laba iyo sagaashan.
61 And these [are] those coming up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer—and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel—
Oo kuwanuna waxay ahaayeen kuwii ka tegey Teel Melax, iyo Teel Xarshaa, iyo Keruub, iyo Addoon, iyo Immeer, laakiinse iyagu ma ay sheegi karin qabiilkoodii ama jilibkoodii, iyo inay reer binu Israa'iil ahaayeen iyo in kale toona,
62 sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
oo reer Delaayaah, iyo reer Toobiyaah, iyo reer Neqoodaa waxay isku ahaayeen lix boqol iyo laba iyo afartan.
63 And of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who has taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name).
Oo kuwii wadaaddada ahaa waxay ahaayeen reer Xaabaayaah, iyo reer Xaqoos, iyo reer Barsillay oo naag ka guursaday gabdhaha Gilecaad oo iyaga lagu magacaabay.
64 These have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and it has not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
Kuwanu waxay magacyadoodii ka doondooneen buuggii abtiriska, laakiinse lagama helin, sidaas aawadeed wadaadnimadii waa laga saaray sidii iyagoo nijaas ah.
65 and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of the priest with [the] Lights and Perfections.
Oo taliyihii baa iyagii ku amray inayan waxyaalaha ugu quduusan wax ka cunin jeer wadaad Uuriim iyo Tummiim leh kaco.
66 All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
Oo ururka oo dhammu wuxuu giddigiis isku ahaa laba iyo afartan kun iyo saddex boqol iyo lixdan,
67 apart from their servants and their handmaids—these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and of them [are] male and female singers, two hundred forty-five.
oo intaas waxaa gooni ka ahaa raggii addoommadooda ahaa iyo naagihii addoommahooda ahaa, oo iyana waxay ahaayeen toddoba kun iyo saddex boqol iyo toddoba iyo soddon, oo waxay lahaayeen laba boqol iyo shan iyo afartan oo ah rag iyo naago gabya.
68 Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred [and] forty-five;
Fardahoodu waxay ahaayeen toddoba boqol iyo lix iyo soddon, baqlahooduna laba boqol iyo shan iyo afartan,
69 camels, four hundred thirty-five; donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
geelooduna afar boqol iyo shan iyo soddon, dameerahooduna lix kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo labaatan.
70 And from the extremity of the heads of the fathers they have given to the work; the Tirshatha has given to the treasure, one thousand drams of gold, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty priests’ coats.
Oo madaxdii qabiilooyinka qaarkood ayaa shuqulkii wax u bixiyey. Taliyuhu wuxuu khasnadda siiyey kun dirham oo dahab ah, iyo konton maddiibadood, iyo shan boqol iyo soddon khamiis oo ah dhar wadaadood.
71 And of the heads of the fathers they have given to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.

72 And that which the rest of the people have given [is] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ coats.
Oo dadka intiisii kale wixii ay bixiyeen waxay ahaayeen labaatan kun oo dirham oo dahab ah, iyo laba kun oo mina oo lacag ah, iyo toddoba iyo lixdan khamiis oo ah dhar wadaadood.
73 And they dwell—the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel—in their cities, and the seventh month comes, and the sons of Israel [are] in their cities.
Haddaba wadaaddadii, iyo kuwii reer Laawi, iyo irid-dhawryadii, iyo nimankii gabayaaga ahaa, iyo dadkii qaarkiis, iyo reer Netiiniim, iyo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu waxay degeen magaalooyinkoodii. Oo markii bishii toddobaad la gaadhay reer binu Israa'iil waxay joogeen magaalooyinkoodii.
