Nehemiah 7
1 And it comes to pass, when the wall has been built, that I set up the doors, and the gatekeepers are appointed, and the singers, and the Levites,
੧ਫਿਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਪਨਾਹ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ,
2 and I charge my brother Hanani, and Hananiah head of the palace, concerning Jerusalem—for he [is] as a man of truth, and fearing God above many—
੨ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਮਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ।
3 and I say to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the sun, and while they are standing by let them shut the doors, and fasten, and appoint guards of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his watch, and each in front of his house.”
੩ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਧੁੱਪ ਤੇਜ਼ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਨਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤਦ ਹੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਬੇੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ। ਫਿਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦੇਣ।”
4 And the city [is] broad on both sides, and great, and the people [are] few in its midst, and there are no houses built;
੪ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਾਂ ਚੌੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।
5 and my God puts it to my heart, and I gather the nobles, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a scroll of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it:
੫ਤਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਮੰਤਾਂ, ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗਿਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ-ਪੱਤਰੀ ਲੱਭੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਲੱਭਿਆ, -
6 These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed—and they return to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city—
੬ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹਨ -
7 who are coming in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
੭ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜ਼ਰੂੱਬਾਬਲ, ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ, ਨਹਮਯਾਹ, ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ, ਰਅਮਯਾਹ, ਨਹਮਾਨੀ, ਮਾਰਦਕਈ, ਬਿਲਸ਼ਾਨ, ਮਿਸਪਰਥ, ਬਿਗਵਈ, ਨਹੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਆਨਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ -
8 sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;
੮ਪਰੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ,
9 sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two;
੯ਸ਼ਫ਼ਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ,
10 sons of Arah, six hundred fifty-two;
੧੦ਆਰਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਵੰਜਾ,
11 sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen;
੧੧ਪਹਥ-ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਰਾਂ,
12 sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
੧੨ਏਲਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਚੁਰੰਜਾ,
13 sons of Zattu, eight hundred forty-five;
੧੩ਜ਼ੱਤੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ,
14 sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty;
੧੪ਜ਼ੱਕਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਸੱਠ,
15 sons of Binnui, six hundred forty-eight;
੧੫ਬਿੰਨੂਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਅਠਤਾਲੀ,
16 sons of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight;
੧੬ਬੇਬਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਈ,
17 sons of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two;
੧੭ਅਜ਼ਗਾਦ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਾਈ,
18 sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven;
੧੮ਅਦੋਨੀਕਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਸਤਾਹਠ,
19 sons of Bigvai, two thousand sixty-seven;
੧੯ਬਿਗਵਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਤਾਹਠ,
20 sons of Adin, six hundred fifty-five;
੨੦ਆਦੀਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਪਚਵੰਜਾ,
21 sons of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety-eight;
੨੧ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਟੇਰ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਠਾਨਵੇਂ,
22 sons of Hashum, three hundred twenty-eight;
੨੨ਹਾਸ਼ੁਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਈ,
23 sons of Bezai, three hundred twenty-four;
੨੩ਬੇਸਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਚੌਵੀ,
24 sons of Hariph, one hundred [and] twelve;
੨੪ਹਾਰੀਫ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਾਰਾਂ,
25 sons of Gibeon, ninety-five;
੨੫ਗਿਬਓਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ,
26 men of Beth-Lehem and Netophah, one hundred eighty-eight;
੨੬ਬੈਤਲਹਮ ਅਤੇ ਨਟੋਫਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਸੀ,
27 men of Anathoth, one hundred twenty-eight;
੨੭ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਈ,
28 men of Beth-Azmaveth, forty-two;
੨੮ਬੈਤ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਵਥ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਤਾਲੀ,
29 men of Kirjath-Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty-three;
੨੯ਕਿਰਯਥ-ਯਾਰੀਮ, ਕਫ਼ੀਰਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਏਰੋਥ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਤਰਤਾਲੀ,
30 men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty-one;
੩੦ਰਾਮਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਗਬਾ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਇੱਕੀ,
31 men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two;
੩੧ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਾਈ,
32 men of Bethel and Ai, one hundred twenty-three;
੩੨ਬੈਤਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਈ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਤੇਈ,
33 men of the other Nebo, fifty-two;
੩੩ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਬੋ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਬਵੰਜਾ,
34 sons of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
੩੪ਦੂਸਰੇ ਏਲਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਚੁਰੰਜਾ,
35 sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;
੩੫ਹਾਰੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਵੀਹ,
36 sons of Jericho, three hundred forty-five;
੩੬ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ,
37 sons of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-one;
੩੭ਲੋਦ ਅਤੇ ਹਦੀਦ ਅਤੇ ਓਨੋ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਇੱਕੀ,
38 sons of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.
੩੮ਸਨਾਆਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ।
39 The priests: sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three;
੩੯ਜਾਜਕ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਦਾਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਤਿਹੱਤਰ,
40 sons of Immer, one thousand fifty-two;
੪੦ਇੰਮੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਬਵੰਜਾ,
41 sons of Pashur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven;
੪੧ਪਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਸੰਤਾਲੀ,
42 sons of Harim, one thousand and seventeen.
੪੨ਹਾਰੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਤਾਰਾਂ।
43 The Levites: sons of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, of sons of Hodevah, seventy-four.
੪੩ਲੇਵੀ ਇਹ ਸਨ: ਹੋਦਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਦਮੀਏਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਚੁਹੱਤਰ।
44 The singers: sons of Asaph, one hundred forty-eight.
੪੪ਗਾਇਕ ਇਹ ਸਨ: ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅੱਠਤਾਲੀ,
45 The gatekeepers: sons of Shallum, sons of Ater, sons of Talmon, sons of Akkub, sons of Hatita, sons of Shobai: one hundred thirty-eight.
੪੫ਦਰਬਾਨ ਇਹ ਸਨ: ਸ਼ੱਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅਟੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤਲਮੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅੱਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਟੀਟਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਬਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅਠੱਤੀ।
46 The Nethinim: sons of Ziha, sons of Hasupha, sons of Tabbaoth,
੪੬ਨਥੀਨੀਮ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੀਹਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਸੂਫ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਟੱਬਾਓਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
47 sons of Keros, sons of Sia, sons of Padon,
੪੭ਕੇਰੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੀਅਹਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਾਦੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
48 sons of Lebanah, sons of Hagaba, sons of Shalmai,
੪੮ਲਬਾਨਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਗਾਬਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸ਼ਲਮਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
49 sons of Hanan, sons of Giddel, sons of Gahar,
੪੯ਹਾਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਿੱਦੇਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਹਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
50 sons of Reaiah, sons of Rezin, sons of Nekoda,
੫੦ਰਆਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਰਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨਕੋਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
51 sons of Gazzam, sons of Uzza, sons of Phaseah,
੫੧ਗੱਜ਼ਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਉੱਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਾਸੇਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
52 sons of Bezai, sons of Meunim, sons of Nephishesim,
੫੨ਬੇਸਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਮਊਨੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨਫੁਸੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
53 sons of Bakbuk, sons of Hakupha, sons of Harhur,
੫੩ਬਕਬੂਕ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਕੂਫਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਰਹੂਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
54 sons of Bazlith, sons of Mehida, sons of Harsha,
੫੪ਬਸਲੀਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਮਹੀਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਰਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
55 sons of Barkos, sons of Sisera, sons of Tamah,
੫੫ਬਰਕੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੀਸਰਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਥਾਮਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
56 sons of Neziah, sons of Hatipha.
੫੬ਨਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਟੀਫਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ।
57 Sons of the servants of Solomon: sons of Sotai, sons of Sophereth, sons of Perida,
੫੭ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ: ਸੋਟਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੋਫਰਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਰੀਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
58 sons of Jaala, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,
੫੮ਯਅਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦਰਕੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਿੱਦੇਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
59 sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Amon.
੫੯ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹੱਟੀਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪੋਕਰਥ-ਹੱਸਬਾਇਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਮੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ।
60 All the Nethinim and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
੬੦ਸਾਰੇ ਨਥੀਨੀਮ (ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਾਨਵੇਂ ਸੀ।
61 And these [are] those coming up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer—and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel—
੬੧ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਲ-ਮੇਲਹ, ਤੇਲ-ਹਰਸਾ, ਕਰੂਬ, ਅਦੋਨ, ਇੰਮੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ:
62 sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
੬੨ਦਲਾਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤੋਬਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਕੋਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਤਾਲੀ,
63 And of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who has taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name).
੬੩ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ - ਹਬੱਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਕੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗਿਲਆਦੀ ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ।
64 These have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and it has not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
੬੪ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਪਰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢੇ ਗਏ।
65 and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of the priest with [the] Lights and Perfections.
੬੫ਤਦ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਜਕ ਊਰੀਮ ਤੇ ਥੁੰਮੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਖੜਾ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
66 All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
੬੬ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਬਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੱਠ ਸੀ।
67 apart from their servants and their handmaids—these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and of them [are] male and female singers, two hundred forty-five.
੬੭ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸੱਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਰਾਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਗਣਾਂ ਸਨ।
68 Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred [and] forty-five;
੬੮ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਛੱਤੀ, ਖੱਚਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ,
69 camels, four hundred thirty-five; donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
੬੯ਊਠ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੇ ਛੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਵੀਹ ਸਨ।
70 And from the extremity of the heads of the fathers they have given to the work; the Tirshatha has given to the treasure, one thousand drams of gold, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty priests’ coats.
੭੦ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦਰਮ ਸੋਨਾ, ਪੰਜਾਹ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਤੀਹ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕਾਂ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
71 And of the heads of the fathers they have given to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
੭੧ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦਰਮ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਮਾਨੇਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੀ,
72 And that which the rest of the people have given [is] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ coats.
੭੨ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦਰਮ ਸੋਨਾ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਮਾਨੇਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਤਾਹਠ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕਾਂ ਸਨ।
73 And they dwell—the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel—in their cities, and the seventh month comes, and the sons of Israel [are] in their cities.
੭੩ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕ, ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਥੀਨੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਗਏ।
