Nehemiah 3
1 And Eliashib the high priest rises, and his brothers the priests, and they build the Sheep Gate; they have sanctified it, and set up its doors, even to the Tower of Meah they have sanctified it, to the Tower of Hananeel;
Thầy thượng tế Ê-li-a-síp cùng các thầy tế lễ khác đứng lên cất lại Cổng Chiên, rồi hiến dâng lên Đức Chúa Trời. Họ cũng làm lại cánh cổng, và xây lại vách thành từ Tháp Mê-a cho đến Tháp Ha-na-nên.
2 and by his hand men of Jericho have built; and by their hand Zaccur son of Imri has built;
Bên cạnh nhóm Giê-ri-cô có nhóm Xác-cua, con Im-ri, sát cánh cùng nhau xây cất.
3 and sons of Hassenaah have built the Fish Gate; they have walled it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
Con cháu Hát-sê-na lo xây Cổng Cá. Họ đặt khung, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then cổng.
4 And by their hand Merimoth son of Urijah, son of Koz, has strengthened; and by his hand Meshullam son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabeel, has strengthened; and by his hand Zadok son of Baana has strengthened;
Bên cạnh họ có nhóm Mê-rê-mốt, con U-ri, cháu Ha-cốt, lo việc sửa sang thành, kế đến có nhóm Mê-su-lam, con Bê-rê-kia, cháu Mê-sê-xa-bên, nhóm Xa-đốc, con Ba-a-na, cũng lo sửa sang thành.
5 and by his hand the Tekoites have strengthened, and their majestic ones have not brought in their neck to the service of their Lord.

6 And Jehoiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah have strengthened the Old Gate; they have walled it, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.

7 And by their hand Melatiah the Gibeonite has strengthened, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, [belonging] to the throne of the governor beyond the River.
Bên cạnh họ có Mê-la-tia, người Ga-ba-ôn, Gia-đôn, người Mê-rô-nốt, cùng những người ở Ga-ba-ôn và Mích-pa, dân trong tỉnh phía tây Sông Ơ-phơ-rát, lo việc sửa sang thành.
8 By his hand Uzziel son of Harhaiah of the refiners has strengthened; and by his hand Hananiah son of [one of] the compounders has strengthened; and they leave Jerusalem to the broad wall.
Kế đến, có U-xi-ên, thợ vàng, con Hạt-ha-gia, và Ha-na-nia, người chế hương phẩm, lo việc sửa sang. Họ cùng nhau tu bổ tường thành Giê-ru-sa-lem cho đến vách Rộng.
9 And by their hand Rephaiah son of Hur, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, has strengthened.
Kế đến, có Rê-pha-gia, con Hu-rơ cai trị phân nửa thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, lo việc sửa sang thành.
10 And by their hand Jedaiah son of Harumaph has strengthened, and opposite his own house; and by his hand Hattush son of Hashabniah has strengthened.
Rồi đến Giê-đa-gia, con Ha-ru-máp tu bổ phần tường thành đối diện nhà mình, và Hát-túc, con Ha-sáp-nia, lo sửa sang thành.
11 A second measure Malchijah son of Harim has strengthened, and Hashub son of Pahath-Moab, even the Tower of the Furnaces.
Manh-ki-gia, con Ha-rim, và Ha-súp, con Pha-hát Mô-áp, tu bổ phần tường thành kế tiếp và Tháp Lò.
12 And by his hand Shallum son of Halohesh, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, has strengthened, he and his daughters.
Kế họ có Sa-lum, con Ha-lô-hết, và các con gái ông lo việc sửa sang thành. Ông là người cai trị phân nửa kia của thành Giê-ru-sa-lem.
13 Hanun has strengthened the Valley Gate, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they have built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and one thousand cubits in the wall to the Refuse Gate.
Ha-nun và những người ở Xa-nô-a sửa sang Cổng Thung Lũng, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then, và tu bổ một đoạn tường thành dài 450 mét cho đến tận Cổng Phân.
14 And Malchijah son of Rechab, head of the district of Beth-Haccerem, has strengthened the Refuse Gate; he builds it, and sets up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
Manh-ki-gia, con Rê-cáp, quận trưởng quận Bết Hát-kê-rem, sửa sang Cổng Phân, tra cánh, đóng chốt và cài then cổng này.
15 And Shallum son of Col-Hozeh, head of the district of Mizpah, has strengthened the Fountain Gate: he builds it, and covers it, and sets up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah, to the garden of the king, and to the steps that are going down from the City of David.
Sa-lum con Côn-hô-xe, quận trưởng quận Mích-pa, sửa sang Cổng Suối, lợp mái, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then, và xây tường thành từ ao Si-lô-ê trong vườn vua cho đến chân thang từ Thành Đa-vít xuống.
16 After him Nehemiah son of Azbuk, head of the half of the district of Beth-Zur, has strengthened to opposite the graves of David, and to the pool that is made, and to the house of the mighty ones.
Bên ông, có Nê-hê-mi, con A-búc, quận trưởng phân nửa quận Bết-sua, tu bổ tường thành cho đến lăng Vua Đa-vít, hồ chứa nước và cả đến dinh tướng lãnh.
17 After him the Levites have strengthened, [and] Rehum son of Bani; by his hand Hashabiah, head of the half of the district of Keilah, has strengthened for his district.
Cùng với Nê-hê-mi có những người Lê-vi lo sửa sang tường thành dưới sự hướng dẫn của Rê-hum, con Ba-ni. Bên họ có Ha-sa-bia, quận trưởng phân nửa quận Kê-i-la, sửa sang tường thành thuộc quận mình.
18 After him their brothers have strengthened, [and] Bavvai son of Henadad, head of the half of the district of Keilah.

19 And Ezer son of Jeshua, head of Mizpah, strengthens, by his hand, a second measure, from in front of the ascent of the armory at the angle.
Phần tường thành đối diện dốc đi lên kho khí giới, nơi thành uốn quanh, được Ê-xe, con Giê-sua, quận trưởng quận Mích-pa, sửa chữa.
20 After him Baruch son of Zabbai has hurried to strengthen a second measure from the angle to the opening of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
Từ khúc thành uốn quanh cho đến cổng nhà thầy thượng tế Ê-li-a-síp được Ba-rúc, con Xáp-bai sửa chữa.
21 After him Meremoth son of Urijah, son of Koz, has strengthened a second measure, from the opening of the house of Eliashib even to the completion of the house of Eliashib.
Tường thành từ cổng nhà Ê-li-a-síp cho đến cuối nhà thầy tế lễ được Mê-rê-mốt, con U-ri, cháu Ha-cốt, sửa chữa.
22 And after him the priests, men of the circuit, have strengthened.
Phần kế tiếp do các thầy tế lễ ở đồng bằng sửa chữa.
23 After them Benjamin has strengthened, and Hashub, opposite their house; after him Azariah son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah, has strengthened near his house.
Kế đó, Bên-gia-min và Ha-súp sửa phần tường thành ngang nhà họ; A-xa-ria, con Ma-a-xê-gia, cháu A-na-nia, sửa phần tường thành bên hông nhà mình.
24 After him Binnui son of Henadad has strengthened a second measure, from the house of Azariah to the angle, and to the corner.

25 Palal son of Uzai [strengthened] from opposite the angle, and the tower that is going out from the upper house of the king that [is] at the court of the prison; after him Pedaiah son of Parosh [strengthened].

30 After him Hananiah son of Shelemiah has strengthened, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, a second measure; after him Meshullam son of Berechiah has strengthened opposite his chamber.
Cạnh Sê-ma-gia có Ha-na-nia, con Sê-lê-mia và Ha-nun, con thứ sáu của Xa-láp, sửa phần kế tiếp. Rồi đến Mê-su-lam, con Bê-rê-kia, sửa phần ngang nhà mình.
31 After him Malchijah son of the refiner has strengthened, to the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, opposite the Miphkad Gate, and to the ascent of the corner.
Cạnh Mê-su-lam có Manh-ki-gia, một người thợ vàng, sửa phần tường thành cho đến nhà của những người phục dịch Đền Thờ và của các thương gia, đối diện Cổng Míp-cát, và cho đến góc thành trên dốc cao.
32 And between the ascent of the corner and the Sheep Gate, the refiners and the merchants have strengthened.
Các người thợ vàng khác cùng với các thương gia sửa sang phần tường thành còn lại, từ góc thành trên dốc cao cho đến Cổng Chiên.
