Nehemiah 11
1 And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused lots to fall to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,
Abakulembeze b’abantu ne babeeranga mu Yerusaalemi, abantu abalala ne bakuba akalulu okulonda omuntu omu ku buli bantu kkumi okugenda okubeera mu Yerusaalemi, ekibuga ekitukuvu; omwenda bo ne basigala mu byalo byabwe.
2 and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.

3 And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.
Bano be bakungu b’amasaza abaasenga mu Yerusaalemi: Abayisirayiri abamu, nga mwe muli bakabona n’Abaleevi, n’abaweereza ab’omu yeekaalu, ne bazzukulu ba baddu ba Sulemaani; buli omu yabeeranga ku ttaka lye mu kibanja kye.
4 And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;
Mu Yerusaalemi mwabeerangamu abamu ku bazzukulu ba Yuda, n’abamu ku bantu abaava mu Benyamini. Bazzukulu ba Yuda abaasenga eyo be bano: Ataya mutabani wa Uzziya, muzzukulu wa Zekkaliya, muzzukulu wa Amaliya, muzzukulu wa Sefatiya, muzzukulu wa Makalaleri, ow’omu lulyo lwa Pereezi;
5 and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;
ne Maaseya mutabani wa Baluki, muzzukulu wa Kolukoze, muzzukulu wa Kazaya, muzzukulu wa Adaya, muzzukulu wa Yoyalibu, muzzukulu wa Zekkaliya, ow’omu lulyo lwa Siiro.
6 all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty-eight, men of valor.
Bazzukulu ba Pereezi abaasenga mu Yerusaalemi baawerera ddala abasajja ebikumi bina mu nkaaga mu munaana, abaali abalwanyi abazira.
7 And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;
Bazzukulu ba Benyamini abaasenga eyo be bano: Sallu mutabani wa Mesullamu, muzzukulu wa Yowedi, muzzukulu wa Pedaya, muzzukulu wa Kolaya, muzzukulu wa Maaseya, muzzukulu wa Isiyeri, muzzukulu wa Yesaya;
8 and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

9 And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city—second.
Yoweeri mutabani wa Zikuli ye yali omulabirizi waabwe, ne Yuda mutabani wa Kassenuwa nga ye mukulu w’Ekitundu Ekyokubiri eky’ekibuga.
10 Of the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin,
Bakabona baali: Yedaya mutabani wa Yoyalibu, ne Yakini,
11 Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,
ne Seraya mutabani wa Kirukiya, muzzukulu wa Mesullamu, muzzukulu wa Zadooki, muzzukulu wa Merayoosi, muzzukulu wa Akitubu, alabirira ennyumba ya Katonda,
12 and their brothers doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty-two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,
ne baganda baabwe abaakolanga emirimu mu yeekaalu, be basajja lunaana mu abiri mu babiri; Adaya mutabani wa Yerokamu, muzzukulu wa Peraliya, muzzukulu wa Amuzi, muzzukulu wa Zekkaliya, muzzukulu wa Pasukuli, muzzukulu wa Malukiya,
13 and his brothers, heads of fathers, two hundred forty-two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,
ne baganda be, abaali abakulu b’ennyumba; abasajja ebikumi bibiri mu ana mu babiri; Amasusaayi mutabani wa Azaleri, muzzukulu wa Azayi, muzzukulu wa Mesiremoosi, muzzukulu wa Immeri,
14 and their brothers, one hundred twenty-eight mighty men of valor; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.

15 And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,
Abaleevi baali: Semaaya mutabani wa Kassubu, muzzukulu wa Azulikamu, muzzukulu wa Kasabiya, muzzukulu wa Bunni;
16 and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,
Sabbesayi ne Yozabadi, abakulu b’Abaleevi, abaavunaanyizibwanga emirimu egy’ebweru egy’ennyumba ya Katonda;
17 and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head—at the commencement he gives thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brothers, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.
Mattaniya mutabani wa Mikka, muzzukulu wa Zabudi muzzukulu wa Asafu, eyakulemberanga okwebaza mu kiseera eky’okusaba; Bakubukiya omumyuka we mu baganda be; ne Abuda mutabani wa Sammuwa, muzzukulu wa Galali, ate muzzukulu wa Yedusuni.
18 All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty-four.
Abaleevi abaabeeranga mu kibuga ekitukuvu bonna awamu, baali ebikumi bibiri mu kinaana mu bana.
19 And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, those watching at the gates, [are] one hundred seventy-two.
Abakuumi b’emiryango baali: Akkubu, ne Talumoni ne baganda baabwe; abaakuumanga emiryango nga bawera abasajja kikumi mu nsanvu mu babiri.
20 And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;
Abayisirayiri abalala bonna, awamu ne bakabona, n’Abaleevi, baabeeranga mu byalo byonna ebya Yuda, buli muntu ng’ali ku butaka bwe.
21 and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.
Naye abaweereza ba yeekaalu baabeeranga ku lusozi Oferi, era Zika ne Gisupa be baali abakulu baabwe.
22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha—of the sons of Asaph, the singers [who are] for the front of the work of the house of God,
Omukulu w’Abaleevi mu Yerusaalemi yali Uzzi mutabani wa Baani, muzzukulu wa Kasabiya, muzzukulu wa Mattaniya, era muzzukulu wa Mikka. Ate era Uzzi yali omu ku bazzukulu ba Asafu, abaakulemberanga okuyimba mu nnyumba ya Katonda.
23 for the command of the king [is] on them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.

24 And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.
Pesakiya mutabani wa Mesezaberi, omu ku bazzukulu ba Zeera mutabani wa Yuda, ye yali omusigire wa Kabaka, ku nsonga zonna ez’abantu.
25 And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,
Abantu abamu aba Yuda baabeeranga mu Kirasualuba n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde, n’abalala mu Diboni n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde, n’abalala mu Yekabuzeeri n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde,
26 and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,
n’abalala mu Yesuwa, n’abalala mu Molada n’abalala mu Besupereti,
27 and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,
n’abalala mu Kazalusuwali, n’abalala mu Beeruseba n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde,
28 and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,
n’abalala mu Zikulagi, n’abalala mu Mekona n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde
29 and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,
n’abalala mu Enulimmoni, n’abalala mu Zola, n’abalala mu Yalamusi,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba to the Valley of Hinnom.
n’abalala mu Zonowa, n’abalala mu Adulamu n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde, n’abalala mu Lakisi n’ennimiro ezikyetoolodde, n’abalala mu Azeka n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde. Ne basiisira okuva e Beeruseba okutuuka ku kiwonvu kya Kinomu.
31 And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,
Bazzukulu ba Benyamini abaava e Geba baabeeranga mu Mikumasi, ne mu Ayiya, ne mu Beseri n’ebyalo ebikyetoolodde,
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
ne mu Anasosi, ne mu Nobu, ne mu Ananiya,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
ne mu Kazoli, ne mu Laama, ne mu Gittayimu,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
ne mu Kadidi, ne mu Zeboyimu, ne mu Neballati,
35 Lod, and Ono, the Valley of the Craftsmen.
ne mu Loodi ne mu Ono, ne mu kiwonvu kya babumbi.
36 And of the Levites, the divisions of Judah [are] for Benjamin.
Abamu ku b’omu bibinja by’Abaleevi aba Yuda, ne beegatta ku b’omu Benyamini.
