< Micah 5 >
1 Now gather yourself together, O daughter of troops, He has laid a siege against us, They strike [the] judge of Israel on the cheek with a rod.
Mifanontona am-pirimboñañe, ry anak’ ampelam-pirimboñañeo fa vinandro’ iareo tika; nilafàe’ iareo an-kobaiñe ty fiambina’ i Mpizaka’ Israeley.
2 “And you, Beth-Lehem Ephratah, Little to be among the chiefs of Judah! From you He comes forth to Me—to be ruler in Israel, And His comings forth [are] of old, From the days of antiquity.”
Fa ihe ry Betlekheme Efràtae, ty loho kede añivo’ o arivo lahi’ Iehodao; boak’ ama’o ty hionjoñe ho ahy, ty ho mpifehe’ Israele, ie haehae añe o fionjona’eo, faha-tsietoimoneñe añe.
3 Therefore He gives them up until the time she who brings forth has brought forth, And the remnant of His brothers return to the sons of Israel.
Aa le hatolo’e añe iereo ampara’ te nahatoly anake i mitsongoy, himpoly amy zao ty sehanga’ o longo’eo mb’amo ana’ Israeleo mb’eo.
4 And He has stood and delighted in the strength of YHWH, In the excellence of the Name of His God YHWH, And they have remained, For now He is great to the ends of the earth.
Hiongake re, le hampiandraze’e ami’ty haozara’ Iehovà, ami’ty volonahe’ i Tahina’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ey; hiaiñ’ añoleñañe iereo, amy t’ie ho ra’elahy pak’añ’olo’ ty tane toy henane zay.
5 And this [One] has been peace. Asshur, when he comes into our land, And when he treads in our palaces, We have raised against him seven shepherds, And eight anointed of man.
Ie ty ho fañanintsin-tika, naho maname ty tanen-tika o nte-Asoreo, handialia o anjomban-tikañeo, le hampitroaren-tika ama’e ty mpiarake fito, naho ty mpiaolo valo boak’ am’ondatio.
6 And they have afflicted the land of Asshur with the sword, And the land of Nimrod at its openings, And He has delivered from Asshur when he comes into our land, And when he treads in our borders.
Harahe’ iereo am-pibara ty tane Asore, naho ty tane’ i Nimrode amo lalambei’eo naho havotso’e amo nte-Asoreo tika, ie mivotrak’ an-tanen-tika ao, mandialia añate’ o efe-tanen-tikañeo.
7 And the remnant of Jacob has been in the midst of many peoples, As dew from YHWH—as showers on the herb, That does not wait for man, nor stays for the sons of men.
Ho añivo’ o kilakila’ondatio añe ty sehanga’ Iakobe, hoe zono boak’ am’ Iehovà, hoe oran-joba amo ahetseo, tsy nitamà’ ondaty, tsy niliñisa’ o ana’ondatio.
8 Indeed, the remnant of Jacob has been among nations, In the midst of many peoples, As a lion among beasts of a forest, As a young lion among ranks of a flock, Which if it has passed through, Has both trodden down and has torn, And there is no deliverer.
Ho am-po’ o fifeheañeo ty sehanga’ Iakobe añivo’ o kilakila’ ondatio ao, hanahake ty liona añ’ate’ o bibin-alao, naho ty ana-diona añivo’ o añondry lia-raikeo ao, ie miranga ro mandialia naho mandrimidrimitse vaho tsy eo ty handrombake.
9 High is your hand above your adversaries, And all your enemies are cut off.
Honjoneñe ambone’ o rafelahi’oo ty fità’o, vaho haitoañe iaby o malaiñ’ Azoo.
10 “And it has come to pass in that day,” A declaration of YHWH, “I have cut off your horses from your midst, And I have destroyed your chariots,
Ie amy andro zay, hoe t’Iehovà, te hapitsoko añivo’o ao o soavala’oo, vaho ho rotsaheko o sarete’oo.
11 And I have cut off the cities of your land, And I have thrown down all your fortresses,
Haitoako ka o rova’ i taneio, vaho fonga hahotrako ambane o kijoly fatratseo;
12 And have cut off sorcerers out of your hand, And observers of clouds—you have none.
Haitoako am-pità’o ze atao famorehañe; ihe tsy ho amam-pisikily ka;
13 And I have cut off your carved images, And your standing-pillars out of your midst, And you do not bow yourself anymore To the work of your hands.
Ho firaeko o hatae sinoki’oo, naho o vato mitroatse añivo’o aoo, soa tsy hitalahoa’o ka o satam-pità’oo.
14 And I have plucked up your Asherim out of your midst, And I have destroyed your enemies.
Hombotako boak’ añivo’o ao ka o samposampo’oo; vaho ho rotsaheko o rova’oo.
15 And I have done vengeance in anger and in fury, With the nations who have not listened!”
Le hondrohako amo kilakila’ ondatio ty vale-fate an-kabosehañe, naho am-piforoforoañe amo tsy nañaoñeo.
