Micah 1
1 A word of YHWH that has been to Micah the Morashite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, that he has seen concerning Samaria and Jerusalem:
Esiae nye gbedeasi si va na Mika, Moresitɔ la, tso Yehowa gbɔ. Gbedeasia va nɛ le Yada fiawo, Yotam, Ahaz kple Hezekia ŋɔli. Gbedeasia ku ɖe Samaria kple Yerusalem ŋuti, eye wòva nɛ le ŋutega me.
2 Hear, O peoples, all of them! Attend, O earth, and its fullness, And Lord YHWH is against you for a witness, The Lord from His holy temple.
Mi dukɔwo katã miɖo to nya sia, wò anyigba kple edzinɔlawo katã mise ɖa; Aƒetɔ Yehowa le eƒe gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe me eye wòtsɔ nya ɖe mia ŋuti!
3 For behold, YHWH is going out from His place, And He has come down, And has trodden on high places of earth.
Kpɔ ɖa Yehowa gbɔna tso eƒe nɔƒe! Eɖi tso dzi eye wòzɔ to kɔkɔƒewo le anyigba dzi.
4 The mountains have been melted under Him, And the valleys split themselves, As wax from the presence of fire, As waters cast down by a slope.
Towo lolõ ɖe eƒe afɔ te, eye balimewo ma le eŋgɔ abe ale si bosomi lolõnae le dzo gbɔ ene; abe ale si tsi sina ne wòle aga ɖim ene.
5 For the transgression of Jacob [is] all this, And for the sins of the house of Israel. What [is] the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what the high places of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
Nu siawo katã le dzɔdzɔm ɖe Yakob ƒe aglãdzedze ta, ele dzɔdzɔm ɖe Israel ƒe aƒe ƒe nu vɔ̃wo ta. Nu kae nye Yakob ƒe aglãdzedzea? Ɖe menye Samariae oa? Nu kae nye Yuda ƒe vɔsaƒewo? Ɖe menye Yerusalem ye oa?
6 “And I have set Samaria for a heap of the field, For plantations of a vineyard, And poured out into a valley her stones, And her foundations I uncover.
“Le esiawo ta la, mana Samaria nazu aƒedo, ale be woate ŋu ade waingble ɖe edzi gɔ̃ hã. Malɔ eƒe kpe gbagbãwo akɔ ɖe balime eye eƒe xɔwo ƒe agunu adze.
7 And all her carved images are beaten down, And all her wages are burned with fire, And all her idols I make a desolation, For from the wage of a harlot she gathered, and to the wage of a harlot they return.”
Woagbã eƒe legbawo gudugudu eye woatɔ dzo nunana siwo woli kɔe ɖe eƒe trɔ̃xɔwo me. Ale matɔ dzo eƒe legbawo katã. Elabena gboloho wotsɔ ƒo wo nu ƒui eye gboloho woagazu.”
8 For this I lament and howl, I go spoiled and naked, I make a lamentation like dragons, And a mourning like daughters of an ostrich.
Le esia ta mafa avi ado ɣli; maɖe amama azɔ afɔ ƒuƒlu. Maxlɔ̃ abe amegaxi ene, eye mafa konyi abe adzexe ene,
9 For mortal [are] her wounds, For it has come to Judah, It has come to a gate of My people—to Jerusalem.
elabena Yuda ka abi makumaku. Abi la keke va ɖo nye dukɔ ƒe agbowo nu ke, va ɖo Yerusalem ŋutɔ gɔ̃ hã.
10 In Gath do not tell—in Acco do not weep, In Beth-Aphrah, roll yourself in dust.
Migaɖe gbeƒãe alo afa avi le Gat o. Ke mibliba mia ɖokuiwo ɖe ke me le Bet Ofra.
11 Pass over for you, O inhabitant of Shaphir, Naked one of shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan has not gone out, The lamentation of Beth-Ezel takes from you its standing.
Mi Safirtɔwo midzo le ŋukpe kple amamanɔnɔ me; mi Zaanantɔwo miadzo o. Bet Ezel le konyi fam eya ta sitsoƒe aɖeke mele esi na mi o.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth has stayed for good, For calamity has come down from YHWH to the gate of Jerusalem.
Marotɔwo le mɔ kpɔm vevie be ŋu nyui aɖe ava ke, gake vevesese koe le wo lalam, elabena gbegblẽ tso Yehowa gbɔ va keke Yerusalem ƒe agbo nu.
13 Bind the chariot to a swift beast, O inhabitant of Lachish, The beginning of sin [is] she to the daughter of Zion, For in you have been found the transgressions of Israel.
Mi Lakistɔwo mitsi sɔwo ɖe miaƒe tasiaɖamwo ŋu. Wòe nye Zion nyɔnuvi ƒe nu vɔ̃ ƒe gɔmedzeƒe elabena wokpɔ Israel ƒe nu vɔ̃wo le mewò.
14 Therefore you give presents to Moresheth-Gath, The houses of Achzib become a lying thing to the kings of Israel.
Eya ta miaklã ɖa tso Moreset Gat gbɔ. Akzib ƒe aƒe aflu Israel fiawo.
15 Yet I bring the possessor to you, O inhabitant of Mareshah, The glory of Israel comes to Adullam.
Mi ame siwo le Maresa, makplɔ aʋakɔ aƒu mi, woaɖu mia dzi, ale Israel ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ava Adulam.
16 Make bald and shave, for your delightful sons, Enlarge your baldness as an eagle, For they have removed from you!
Lũ ta kolikoli nàfa konyi elabena wokplɔ vi siwo gbɔ mèlɔ̃a nu le o la dzoe. Lũ ta wòanɔ abe akaga tɔ ene, elabena woakplɔ viwòwo ayi aboyo mee.
