< Matthew 9 >
1 And having gone into the boat, He passed over, and came to His own city,
ⲁ̅ⲁϥⲁⲗⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲓ ⲁϥϫⲓⲟⲟⲣ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙⲙⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
2 and behold, they were bringing to Him a paralytic, laid on a bed, and Jesus having seen their faith, said to the paralytic, “Take courage, child, your sins have been forgiven.”
ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲏϭ ⲉϥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲓϫⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ. ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ. ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲕ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲕⲏ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
3 And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, “This One speaks evil.”
ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲫⲣⲁⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉⲩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ. ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ.
4 And Jesus, having known their thoughts, said, “Why think evil in your hearts?
ⲇ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁϩⲣⲱⲧⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧ.
5 For which is easier? To say, Your sins are forgiven; or to say, Rise and walk?
ⲉ̅ⲁϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲟⲧⲛ. ⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲕⲏ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲛⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ.
6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on the earth to forgive sins—(then He says to the paralytic)—Having risen, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
ⲋ̅ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲕⲁⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲥⲏϭ. ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲅϥⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲕϭⲗⲟϭ ⲛⲅⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲏⲓ.
7 And he, having risen, went to his house,
ⲍ̅ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ.
8 and the multitudes having seen, wondered, and glorified God, who gave such power to men.
ⲏ̅ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲣϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϯⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϯⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲙⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ.
9 And Jesus passing on from there saw a man sitting at the tax office named Matthew, and says to him, “Follow Me,” and he, having risen, followed Him.
ⲑ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲅⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉϥⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲁⲑⲑⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁϩⲕ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ. ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛⲥⲱϥ.
10 And it came to pass, He reclining in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, were dining with Jesus and His disciples,
ⲓ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲏϫ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ. ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲛϩⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ. ϩⲓⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ. ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
11 and the Pharisees having seen, said to His disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with the tax collectors and sinners?”
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲥⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲛⲛⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ.
12 And Jesus having heard, said to them, “They who are whole have no need of a physician, but they who are ill;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ. ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲧⲏⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲥⲁⲉⲓⲛ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲛⲉ.
13 but having gone, learn what [this] is: Kindness I will, and not sacrifice; for I did not come to call righteous men, but sinners.”
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲓⲟⲩⲉϣⲟⲩⲛⲁ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉⲟⲩⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁ. ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲙⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓⲁ.
14 Then the disciples of John come to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast much, and Your disciples do not fast?”
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩϯⲡⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓⲙⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲛⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲛϩⲁϩ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ. ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲁⲛ.
15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the sons of the bride-chamber mourn, so long as the bridegroom is with them? But days will come when the bridegroom may be taken from them, and then they will fast.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲛⲉϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲙⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲉⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲫⲟⲥⲟⲛ ⲡⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲩ. ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓϩⲉⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ. ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲉⲩϣⲁⲛϥⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ.
16 And no one puts a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment, and a worse split is made.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲧⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛϣⲁⲓ ⲉⲩϣⲧⲏⲛ ⲙⲡⲗϭⲉ. ⲥⲛⲁϥⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲧⲉϣⲧⲏⲛ ⲛϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲡⲱϩ.
17 Nor do they put new wine into old skins, and if not—the skins burst, and the wine runs out, and the skins are destroyed, but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.”
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲉⲩⲛⲉϫⲙⲣⲓⲥ ⲉϩⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲥ. ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϣⲁⲩⲡⲱϩ ⲛϭⲓⲛϩⲱⲧ. ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲡⲱⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉϩⲱⲧ ⲧⲁⲕⲟ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛϣⲁⲩⲛⲉϫⲏⲣⲡ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟϫ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ.
18 While He is speaking these things to them, behold, a ruler having come, was prostrating to Him, saying that “My daughter just now died, but having come, lay Your hand on her, and she will live.”
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲓⲥⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲁϥϯⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲁϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲙⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲅⲧⲁⲗⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲕϭⲓϫ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ.
19 And Jesus having risen, followed him, also His disciples,
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲙⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
20 and behold, a woman having a flow of blood [for] twelve years, having come to Him behind, touched the fringe of His garments,
ⲕ̅ⲉⲓⲥⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥⲉ ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ. ⲁⲥϯⲡⲉⲥⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲡⲧⲟⲡ ⲙⲡⲉϥϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ.
21 for she said within herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I will be saved.”
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲓϣⲁⲛϫⲱϩ ⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲧⲟⲡ ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲧⲏⲛ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ.
22 And Jesus having turned, and having seen her, said, “Take courage, daughter, your faith has saved you,” and the woman was saved from that hour.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲕⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲕ ⲙⲙⲟ ⲧⲁϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲛϭⲓⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲓⲛⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
23 And Jesus having come into the house of the ruler, and having seen the pipers and the multitude making tumult,
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲣⲉϥϫⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲩϣⲧⲣⲧⲱⲣ.
24 He says to them, “Withdraw, for the girl did not die, but sleeps,” and they were deriding Him;
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲭⲱⲣⲉⲓ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛϭⲓⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲥⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ. ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱⲃⲉ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ.
25 but when the multitude was put forth, having gone in, He took hold of her hand, and the girl arose,
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲥϭⲓϫ. ⲁⲥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϭⲓⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ.
26 and the fame of this went forth to all the land.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
27 And Jesus passing on from there, two blind men followed Him, calling and saying, “Deal kindly with us, Son of David!”
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲉϥⲡⲁⲣⲁⲅⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛϭⲓⲃⲗⲗⲉ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲓϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅.
28 And He having come into the house, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus says to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They say to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲏⲓ ⲁⲩϯⲡⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲃⲗⲗⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅. ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲡⲁⲓ. ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ.
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you,”
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ.
30 and their eyes were opened, and Jesus strictly charged them, saying, “See, let no one know”;
ⲗ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛϭⲓⲛⲉⲩⲃⲁⲗ. ⲁϥϩⲱⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ϭⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲣⲧⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲙⲉ.
31 but they, having gone forth, spread His fame in all that land.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲉⲓⲧ ϩⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲉⲧⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
32 And as they are coming forth, behold, they brought to Him a man mute, a demoniac,
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲡⲟ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ϩⲓⲱⲱϥ.
33 and the demon having been cast out, the mute spoke, and the multitude wondered, saying that “It was never so seen in Israel,”
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉⲙⲡⲟ. ⲁⲩⲣϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲛϭⲓⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ϩⲙⲡⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲗ̅.
34 but the Pharisees said, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out the demons.”
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛⲛⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲇⲁⲓⲙⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ.
35 And Jesus was going up and down all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲛϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲙⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲛⲧⲙⲉ ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲩⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲡⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲉϥⲣⲡⲁϩⲣⲉ ⲉϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓⲗⲟϫⲗⲉϫ ⲛⲓⲙ.
36 And having seen the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, that they were faint and cast aside, as sheep not having a shepherd;
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁϥϣⲛϩⲧⲏϥ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲕⲩⲗⲗⲉⲓ ⲡⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲏϫ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲓⲉⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲛⲧⲟⲩϣⲱⲥ.
37 then He says to His disciples, “The harvest indeed [is] abundant, but the workmen few;
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲱϩⲥ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲁϣⲱϥ. ⲛⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲟⲃⲕ.
38 therefore implore the Lord of the harvest that He may put forth workmen to His harvest.”
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲥⲉⲡⲥⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϭⲉ ⲙⲡⲱϩⲥ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲛⲉϫⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲱϩⲥ.
