Matthew 5
1 And having seen the multitudes, He went up to the mountain, and He having sat down, His disciples came to Him,
၁ထိုလူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို မြင် လျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် တောင် ပေါ်သို့ တက် ၍ ထိုင် တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ရင်းသို့ ချဉ်းကပ် ကြ၏။
2 and having opened His mouth, He was teaching them, saying,
၂ထိုအခါ နှုတ် တော်ကိုဖွင့် ၍ တပည့် တော်တို့အား ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူသည်မှာ၊
3 “Blessed the poor in spirit—because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
၃စိတ် နှလုံးနှိမ့်ချ သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ကောင်းကင် နိုင်ငံ တော်သည် ထိုသူ တို့၏နိုင်ငံဖြစ် ၏။
4 Blessed the mourning—because they will be comforted.
၄စိတ်မသာ ညည်းတွားသောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ထိုသူ တို့သည် သက်သာ ခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြလတံ့။
5 Blessed the meek—because they will inherit the land.
၅စိတ် နူးညံ့သိမ်မွေ့သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည် ပြည် တော်ကို အမွေ ခံရကြလတံ့။
6 Blessed those hungering and thirsting for righteousness—because they will be filled.
၆ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းပါရမီကို ဆာငတ် ခင်မွတ် သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည်ဝပြော ခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြလတံ့။
7 Blessed the kind—because they will find kindness.
၇သနားစုံမက် တတ်သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည် သနားစုံမက် ခြင်းကို ခံရကြလတံ့။
8 Blessed the clean in heart—because they will see God.
၈စိတ် နှလုံးဖြူစင် သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ကို မြင် ရကြလတံ့။
9 Blessed the peacemakers—because they will be called sons of God.
၉သူတစ်ပါးချင်းခိုက်ရန် ပြုခြင်းကို ငြိမ်းစေတတ်သောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ထိုသူ တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား တော်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ် ခြင်းကိုခံရကြလတံ့။
10 Blessed those persecuted for righteousness’ sake—because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
၁၀ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတရားကြောင့် နှောင့်ရှက် ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူ တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ကောင်းကင် နိုင်ငံ တော်သည် ထိုသူ တို့၏နိုင်ငံဖြစ် ၏။
11 Blessed are you whenever they may reproach you, and may persecute, and may say any evil thing against you falsely for My sake—
၁၁ငါ့ ကြောင့် သင် တို့ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ ညှဉ်းဆဲ၍ မမှန် ဘဲလျက် အပြစ် တကာ တင်ကြသောအခါ ၊ သင်တို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ ကြ၏။
12 rejoice and be glad, because your reward [is] great in the heavens, for thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
၁၂ဝမ်းမြောက် ရွှင်မြူး ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံ၌ သင် တို့၏အကျိုး သည် ကြီးလှ ပေ၏။ သင် တို့ရှေ့ ကပေါ်ထွန်းသော ပရောဖက် တို့ကို ထိုနည်းတူ ညှဉ်းဆဲ ကြပြီ။
13 You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt may lose savor, in what will it be salted? It is good for nothing from now on, except to be cast outside, and to be trodden down by men.
၁၃သင် တို့သည် ဤလောက ၏ဆား ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ ဆား မူကား ၊ အငန် ကင်းပျောက်လျှင် ငန် သောအရသာကို အဘယ်သို့ ရပြန်မည်နည်း။ ပြင် သို့ပစ် လိုက်၍ ကျော်နင်း ခြင်းမှတစ်ပါး အဘယ် အသုံး မျှမ ဝင်။
14 You are the light of the world, a city set on a mountain is not able to be hid;
၁၄သင် တို့သည် ဤလောက ၏ အလင်း ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ တောင် ထိပ်၌တည် သောမြို့ ကို မ ကွယ် နိုင် ။
15 nor do they light a lamp and put it under the measure, but on the lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house;
၁၅ဆီမီး ထွန်း ၍ တောင်း ဇလားအောက် ၌ ဖုံးထားလေ့မ ရှိ။ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် အလင်း ကို ရစေခြင်းငှာ ဆီမီးခုံ ပေါ်မှာ တင်ထားလေ့ရှိ၏။
16 so let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father who [is] in the heavens.
၁၆ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ သူတစ်ပါးတို့သည် သင် တို့၏ကောင်း သောအကျင့် ကိုမြင် ၍၊ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသောသင် တို့အဘ ၏ဂုဏ် တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းစေခြင်းငှာ၊ သူတစ်ပါး ရှေ့ ၌ သင် တို့အလင်း ကို လင်း စေကြလော့။
17 Do not suppose that I came to throw down the Law or the Prophets—I did not come to throw down, but to fulfill;
၁၇ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်း၊ အနာဂတ္တိ ကျမ်းများကို ဖျက်ပယ် ခြင်းငှာငါလာ သည်ဟု မ ထင် ကြနှင့်။ ဖျက်ပယ် ခြင်းငှာငါလာ သည်မ ဟုတ်။ ပြည့်စုံ စေခြင်းငှာငါလာသတည်း။
18 for truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth may pass away, one iota or one tittle may not pass away from the Law, until all may come to pass.
၁၈ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ကောင်းကင် နှင့် မြေကြီး မ ပျက်စီး မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်း၌ အငယ်ဆုံး သော စာလုံး ဗိန္ဓု တစ်လုံးမျှ ပြည့်စုံ ခြင်းသို့ မ ရောက်မှီ မ ပျက်စီး ရ။
19 Therefore whoever may loose one of these commands—the least—and may teach men so, he will be called least in the kingdom of the heavens, but whoever may do and may teach [them], he will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.
၁၉ထိုကြောင့် အကြင်သူ သည်၊ အငယ်ဆုံး သောပညတ် တစ်ခု ကို ကိုယ်တိုင်လွန်ကျူး ၍ သူတစ်ပါး တို့အားလည်း ထိုအတူ သွန်သင် ၏။ ထိုသူသည် ကောင်းကင် နိုင်ငံ တော်၌ အငယ်ဆုံး သောသူဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။ အကြင်သူ သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ကျင့် ၍ သူတစ်ပါး တို့အားလည်း သွန်သင် ၏။
20 For I say to you that if your righteousness may not abound above that of the scribes and Pharisees, you may not enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
၂၀ထိုသူ သည် ကောင်းကင် နိုင်ငံ တော်၌ ကြီး သောသူဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။ သင် တို့ကျင့်သောအကျင့်သည် ဖာရိရှဲ တို့နှင့် ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့ကျင့်သောအကျင့်ထက် မ လွန်မသာလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင် နိုင်ငံ တော်သို့ မ ဝင် ရကြဟုငါအမှန်ဆို ၏။
21 You heard that it was said to the ancients: You will not murder, and whoever may murder will be in danger of the judgment;
၂၁လူ အသက်ကို မ သတ်ရ။ သတ် သောသူ သည် ရုံး၌အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် ပေ၏ဟူသော ရှေး ပညတ် စကားကို သင်တို့ကြား ရပြီ။
22 but I say to you that everyone who is angry at his brother without cause will be in danger of the judgment, and whoever may say to his brother, Stupid, will be in danger of the Sanhedrin, and whoever may say, Moron, will be in danger of the Gehenna of fire. (Geenna g1067)
၂၂ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား ၊ ညီအစ်ကို ကို အထောက်မတန်အမျက်ထွက် သောသူ သည် ရုံး၌အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် ပေ၏။ ညီအစ်ကို ကိုကဲ့ရဲ့ သောသူ သည် လွှတ်တော် ၌ အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် ပေ၏။ ညီအစ်ကိုကိုကျိန်ဆဲ သောသူ သည် ဂေဟင်္နာ အရပ်၌ မီးရှို့ ခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် ပေ၏။ (Geenna g1067)
23 If, therefore, you may bring your gift to the altar, and there may remember that your brother has anything against you,
၂၃ထိုကြောင့် သင် သည်ပူဇော် သက္ကာကို ယဇ်ပလ္လင် သို့ ဆောင်ယူ ခဲ့လျက် သင် ၏ညီအစ်ကို သည် သင် ၌ အပြစ်တင် ခွင့်တစ်စုံတစ်ခု ရှိ သည်ဟု အောက်မေ့ သတိရလျှင် ၊ ယဇ်ပလ္လင် ရှေ့ မှာ ပူဇော် သက္ကာကိုထား၍သွား လော့။
24 leave there your gift before the altar, and go—first be reconciled to your brother, and then having come, bring your gift.
၂၄ညီအစ်ကို နှင့် သင့်တင့် ပြီးမှ ပြန် ၍ ပူဇော် သက္ကာကို တင် လော့။
25 Be agreeing with your opponent quickly, while you are in the way with him, that the opponent may not deliver you to the judge, and the judge may deliver you to the officer, and you may be cast into prison;
၂၅တရားတွေ့ဘက် နှင့်အတူ လမ်း ၌ သွားစဉ် တွင်ပင်၊ သူ ၏စိတ် ကို ပြေစေခြင်းငှာ အလျင်အမြန် ပြုလော့။ သို့မဟုတ် တရားတွေ့ဘက် သည် တရားသူကြီး ၌ အပ် မည်။ တရားသူကြီး သည်လည်း လုလင် ခေါင်း၌ အပ်၍ ထောင် ထဲ၌ လှောင် ထားမည်။
26 truly I say to you, you may not come forth from there until you may pay the last penny.
၂၆လျော်ပြစ်ငွေ ရှိသမျှ ကို မ လျော် မှီတိုင်အောင် ထောင်ထဲကမ ထွက် ရဟု ငါအမှန် ဆို ၏။
27 You heard that it was said to the ancients: You will not commit adultery;
၂၇သူ့ မယားကို မ ပြစ်မှားရဟူသော ရှေး ပညတ်စကားကို သင်တို့ကြား ရပြီ။
28 but I say to you that everyone who is looking on a woman to desire her, already committed adultery with her in his heart.
၂၈ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား ကိလေသာ စိတ်နှင့် သူ့မယား ကိုကြည့်ရှု သောသူ သည် စိတ် နှလုံးထဲ၌ ထိုမိန်းမ နှင့်ပြစ်မှား ပြီ ။
29 But if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast from you, for it is good to you that one of your members may perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
၂၉ထိုကြောင့် လက်ျာ မျက်စိ ဖြစ်သော်လည်း သင့် ကိုမှားယွင်း စေလျှင် ထိုမျက်စိ ကိုထုတ်ပစ် လော့။ တစ်ကိုယ်လုံး ငရဲ သို့ ချ ခြင်းကိုခံရသည်ထက် အင်္ဂါ တစ်ခုပျက် သော် သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။ (Geenna g1067)
30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast from you, for it is good to you that one of your members may perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
၃၀ထိုနည်းတူ လက်ျာ လက် ဖြစ်သော်လည်း သင့် ကိုမှားယွင်း စေလျှင် ထိုလက် ကိုဖြတ်ပစ် လော့။ တစ်ကိုယ်လုံး ငရဲ သို့ ချ ခြင်းကို ခံရသည်ထက် အင်္ဂါ တစ်ခု သာပျက် သော်သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။ (Geenna g1067)
31 And it was said that, Whoever may put away his wife, let him give to her a writing of divorce;
၃၁တစ်ဖန်တုံ ၊ မယား နှင့်ကွာ လိုလျှင် ဖြတ်စာ ကို အပ်ပေး စေဟူသော ပညတ် စကားရှိပြီ။
32 but I say to you that whoever may put away his wife, except for the matter of whoredom, makes her to commit adultery; and whoever may marry her who has been put away commits adultery.
၃၂ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား၊ မှားယွင်း ခြင်းအကြောင်း မှတပါး အခြားသောအကြောင်းဖြင့် မိမိ မယား နှင့်ကွာ သောသူ သည် မိမိမယား ကိုမှားယွင်း စေ၏။ ကွာ သောမိန်းမနှင့်စုံဘက် ခြင်းကိုပြုသောသူ သည်လည်း သူ့ မယားကိုပြစ်မှား၏။
33 Again, you heard that it was said to the ancients: You will not swear falsely, but you will pay to the LORD your oaths;
၃၃တစ်ဖန်တုံ ၊ မဟုတ်မမှန်ဘဲလျက် ကျိန်ဆို ခြင်းကိုမ ပြုရ။ ကျိန်ဆို ခြင်းကို ပြုသည်အတိုင်းထာဝရ ဘုရား ရှေ့တော်၌ တည်စေလော့ဟူသော ရှေး ပညတ် စကားကို သင်တို့ကြား ရပြီ။
34 but I say to you not to swear at all; neither by Heaven, because it is the throne of God,
၃၄ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား ၊ ကျိန်ဆို ခြင်းကို အလျင်း မ ပြုရ။ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံကို တိုင်တည်၍မ ကျိန်ရ။ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံကား ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ပလ္လင် တော်ဖြစ် သတည်း။
35 nor by the earth, because it is His footstool, nor by Jerusalem, because it is [the] city of [the] great King,
၃၅မြေကြီး ကို တိုင်တည်၍မ ကျိန်ရ။ မြေကြီးကား ဘုရားသခင် ၏ခြေ တော်တင် ရာခုံဖြစ် သတည်း။ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို တိုင်တည်၍မ ကျိန်ရ။ မဟာ မင်းကြီး ၏မြို့ တော် ဖြစ် သတည်း။
36 nor may you swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black;
၃၆ဆံခြည် တစ် ပင်ကိုမျှ ဖြူ စေခြင်း၊ မည်း စေခြင်းငှာ မ တတ်နိုင် သော်၊ ကိုယ် ဦးခေါင်း ကိုတိုင်တည်၍ မ ကျိန် ရ။
37 but let your word be, Yes, Yes, No, No, and that which is more than these is of the evil [one].
၃၇သင် ၏စကား မှာ ဟုတ် သည်ကိုအဟုတ် ၊ မ ဟုတ်သည်ကို မ ဟုတ်ဖြစ် စေလော့။ ဤ ထက်လွန် သော စကားသည် မကောင်း သောအရာနှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်ပေ ၏။
38 You heard that it was said: Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth;
၃၈သူ့မျက်စိ ကိုဖျက်လျှင် ကိုယ်မျက်စိ ဖျက်ခြင်းကိုခံစေ။ သူ့သွား ကိုချိုးလျှင် ကိုယ်သွား ချိုးခြင်းကို ခံစေ ဟူသော ပညတ် စကားကို သင်တို့ကြား ရပြီ။
39 but I say to you not to resist the evil, but whoever will slap you on your right cheek, turn to him also the other;
၃၉ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား ၊ နှောင့်ရှက် သောသူ ကို မ ဆီး မတားနှင့်။ သင် ၏ပါး တစ်ဘက်ကို သူတစ်ပါး ပုတ် လျှင် ပါးတစ်ဘက် ကို လှည့် ၍ပေးဦးလော့။
40 and whoever is willing to take you to law, and to take your coat—also permit to him the cloak.
၄၀သင့် အင်္ကျီ ကိုယူလို ၍ တရား တွေ့သောသူ အား သင့် ဝတ်လုံ ကိုလည်း ယူ စေခြင်းငှာအခွင့် ပေးဦးလော့။
41 And whoever will impress you one mile, go with him two;
၄၁အကြင်သူ သည် သင့် ကိုအနိုင်ပြု ၍ ခရီးတစ် တိုင် သွားစေ၏။ ထိုသူ နှင့်တကွ နှစ် တိုင်သွား ဦးလော့။
42 to him who is asking of you be giving, and him who is willing to borrow from you, you may not turn away.
၄၂တောင်း သောသူ အားပေး လော့။ ချေးငှား လို သောသူ ကိုလည်း မ ငြင်း မပယ်နှင့်။
43 You heard that it was said: You will love your neighbor, and will hate your enemy;
၄၃ကိုယ် နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင် သောသူ ကို ချစ် လော့။ ရန်သူ ကိုမုန်း လော့ဟူသောပညတ် စကားကို သင်တို့ ကြား ရပြီ။
44 but I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those accusing you falsely, and persecuting you,
၄၄ငါ ပညတ် သည်ကား ၊ သင်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင် ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော သင် တို့အဘ ၏ သား ဖြစ် လိုသောငှာ ။ သင် တို့၏ရန်သူ တို့ကို ချစ် ကြလော့။ သင် တို့ကိုကျိန်ဆဲ သောသူ တို့အား မေတ္တာပို့ ကြလော့။ သင်တို့ကို မုန်း သော သူ တို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြု ကြလော့။ သင်တို့ကို နှောင့်ရှက် ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူ တို့ အဘို့ ဘုရားသခင် ကို ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့။
45 that you may be sons of your Father in the heavens, because He causes His sun to rise on evil and good, and He sends rain on righteous and unrighteous.
၄၅အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော သင်တို့အဘသည်၊ ကောင်း သောသူမကောင်း သောသူတို့အပေါ် ၌ ကိုယ်တော် ၏နေ ကို ထွက် စေတော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ မ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့ အပေါ် ၌မိုဃ်း ကို ရွာစေတော်မူ၏။
46 For if you may love those loving you, what reward do you have? Do the tax collectors not also do the same?
၄၆သင် တို့ကို ချစ် သောသူ တို့အားသာချစ်တုံ့ပြု လျှင် အဘယ် ကျေးဇူး တင် သနည်း။ အခွန်ခံ သူတို့ပင် ဤမျှလောက်ပြု ကြသည် မ ဟုတ်လော။
47 And if you may greet your brothers only, what do you do abundant? Do the nations not also do so?
၄၇အဆွေအမျိုး တို့အားသာ လောကဝတ် ပြုလျှင် အဘယ်သို့ ထူးမြတ် သနည်း။ သာသနာပ လူတို့ပင် ထိုအတူ ပြု ကြသည်မ ဟုတ်လော။
48 You will therefore be perfect, as your Father who [is] in the heavens is perfect.”
၄၈ထို့ကြောင့် ကောင်းကင် ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူသော သင် တို့အဘ သည် စုံလင် တော်မူသည်နည်းတူ သင် တို့သည်လည်း စုံလင် ခြင်းရှိ ကြလော့။
