Matthew 28
1 Now after [the] Sabbaths, it being dawn, toward the first [day] of the weeks, Mary the Magdalene came, and the other Mary, to see the grave,
Y LA víspera de Sábado, que amanece para el primer dia de la semana, vino María Magdalena, y la otra María, á ver el sepulcro.
2 and behold, there came a great earthquake, for a messenger of the LORD, having come down out of Heaven, having come, rolled away the stone from the door, and was sitting on it,
Y hé aquí, fué hecho un gran terremoto: porque el ángel del Señor descendiendo del cielo y llegando, habia revuelto la piedra [del sepulcro, ] y estaba sentado sobre ella.
3 and his countenance was as lightning, and his clothing white as snow,
Y su aspecto era como un relámpago. y su vestido blanco como la nieve.
4 and from the fear of him the keepers shook, and they became as dead men.
Y de miedo de él los guardas se asombraron, y fueron vueltos como muertos.
5 And the messenger answering said to the women, “Do not fear, for I have known that you seek Jesus who has been crucified;
Y respondiendo el ángel, dijo á las mujeres: No temais vosotras; porque yo sé que buscais á Jesus, que fué crucificado.
6 He is not here, for He rose, as He said; come, see the place where the LORD was lying;
No está aquí, porque ha resucitado como dijo: venid, ved el lugar donde fué puesto el Señor.
7 and having gone quickly, say to His disciples that He rose from the dead; and behold, He goes before you to Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”
E id presto, decid á sus discípulos que ha resucitado de los muertos: y hé aquí va delante de vosotros á Galiléa; allí le veréis; hé aquí os [lo] he dicho.
8 And having gone forth quickly from the tomb, with fear and great joy, they ran to tell His disciples;
Entónces ellas saliendo del sepulcro con temor y gran gozo, fueron corriendo á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos. Y mientras iban á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos,
9 and as they were going to tell His disciples, then behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” And having come near, they laid hold of His feet, and worshiped Him.
Hé aquí Jesus les sale al encuentro diciendo: Salve. Y ellas se llegaron, y abrazaron sus piés, y le adoraron.
10 Then Jesus says to them, “Do not fear, go away, tell My brothers that they may go away to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
Entónces Jesus les dice: No temais; id, dad las nuevas á mis hermanos, para que vayan á Galiléa, y allá me verán.
11 And while they are going on, behold, certain of the guard having come into the city, reported to the chief priests all the things that happened,
Y yendo ellas, hé aquí unos de la guardia vinieron á la ciudad, y dieron aviso á los príncipes de los sacerdotes de todas las cosas que habian acontecido.
12 and having been gathered together with the elders, having also taken counsel, they gave much money to the soldiers,
Y juntados con los ancianos, y habido consejo, dieron mucho dinero á los soldados,
13 saying, “Say that His disciples having come by night, stole Him—we being asleep;
Diciendo: Decid: Sus discípulos vinieron de noche, y le hurtaron, durmiendo nosotros.
14 and if this is heard by the governor, we will persuade him, and you keep free from anxiety.”
Y si esto fuere oido del presidente nosotros le persuadirémos, y os harémos seguros.
15 And they, having received the money, did as they were taught, and this account was spread abroad among Jews until this day.
Y ellos, tomado el dinero, hicieron como estaban instruidos: y este dicho fué divulgado entre los Judíos hasta el dia de hoy.
16 And the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus appointed them,
Mas los once discípulos se fueron á Galiléa, al monte donde Jesus les habia ordenado.
17 and having seen Him, they worshiped Him, but some wavered.
Y como le vieron, le adoraron: mas algunos dudaban.
18 And having come near, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me;
Y llegando Jesus, les habló diciendo: Toda potestad me es dada en el cielo y en la tierra.
19 having gone, then, disciple all the nations, immersing them into the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
Por tanto id, y doctrinad á todos los Gentiles, bautizándoles en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo:
