Matthew 20
1 “For the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a householder, who went forth with the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard,
किनकि परमेश्वरको राज्य एक जना जमिन मालिकजस्तै हो, जो दाखबारीको लागि खेतालाहरूलाई ज्यालादारीमा लगाउन एका बिहानै बाहिर गए ।
2 and having agreed with the workmen for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
ती कामदारहरूसँग दिनको एक दिनारमा काम गराउन उनी सहमत भएपछि उनले तिनीहरूलाई दाखबारीमा पठाए ।
3 And having gone forth about the third hour, he saw others standing in the marketplace idle,
उनी नौ बजे बाहिर गए र बजारमा अरू कामदारहरूलाई केही काम नगरी उभिरहेको देखे ।
4 and to these he said, Go—also you—to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous I will give you;
उनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, ‘तिमीहरू पनि दाखबारीमा जाओ, र जे उचित छ, त्यो म तिमीहरूलाई दिनेछु ।’ यसैकारण तिनीहरू काम गर्न गए ।
5 and they went away. Again, having gone forth about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did in like manner.
फेरि उनी बार्ह बजे र तिन बजे बाहिर गए र त्यसै गरे ।
6 And about the eleventh hour, having gone forth, he found others standing idle and says to them, Why have you stood here idle all day?
एक पटक फेरि उनी पाँच बजे बाहिर गए र अरूहरूलाई केही काम नगरी उभिरहेको भेट्टाए । उनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, ‘तिमीहरू दिनभरि नै यहाँ किन व्यर्थमा केही काम नगरी बसिरहेका छौ?’
7 They say to him, Because no one hired us; he says to them, Go—you also—to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous you will receive.
तिनीहरूले उनलाई भने, ‘किनकि कसैले पनि हामीलाई काममा लगाएको छैन ।’ उनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, ‘तिमीहरू पनि दाखबारीमा जाओ ।’
8 And evening having come, the lord of the vineyard says to his steward, Call the workmen, and pay them the reward, having begun from the last—to the first.
जब साँझ पर्यो, ती दाखबारीका मालिकले उनका व्यवस्थापकलाई भने, ‘ती कामदारहरूलाई बोलाऊ र अन्तिममा आएकोबाट सुरु गर्दै तिनीहरूलाई तिनीहरूका ज्याला तिरिदेऊ ।’
9 And they of about the eleventh hour having come, each received a denarius.
जब पाँच बजे काममा लगाइएका कामदारहरू आए, तिनीहरू सबैले एक दिनार पाए ।
10 And the first having come, supposed that they will receive more, and they received, they also, each a denarius,
जब सुरुका कामदारहरू आए, तिनीहरूले धेरै पाउनेछन् भनी तिनीहरूले विचार गरे, तर तिनीहरू हरेकले पनि एक दिनार नै प्राप्त गरे ।
11 and having received [it], they were murmuring against the householder, saying,
जब तिनीहरूले आफ्ना ज्यालाहरू प्राप्त गरे, तिनीहरूले त्यस जमिन मालिकको विरुद्धमा गनगन गरे ।
12 that, These, the last, worked one hour, and you made them equal to us, who were bearing the burden of the day—and the heat.
तिनीहरूले भने, ‘यी अन्तमा आएका कामदारहरूले एक घण्टा मात्र काममा बिताएका थिए, तर तपाईंले उनीहरूलाई हामी समान बनाउनुभएको छ, हामीहरू जसले सारा दिनको बोझ र पोल्ने घामलाई सह्यौँ ।’
13 And he answering said to one of them, Friend, I do no unrighteousness to you; did you not agree with me for a denarius?
तर ती मालिकले जवाफ दिए र तिनीहरूमध्ये एक जनालाई भने, ‘मित्र, मैले तिमीलाई कुनै खराबी गरेको छैनँ । के तिमी मसँग एक दिनारमा मञ्जुर भएका थिएनौ र?
14 Take that which is yours, and go; and I will to give to this, the last, also as to you;
जे तिम्रो हो त्यो लेऊ र आफ्नो बाटो लाग । मैले तिमीलाई दिए जत्तिकै म यी अन्त्यमा काममा लगाइएका कामदारहरूलाई पनि दिने इच्छा गर्दछु ।
15 is it not lawful to me to do what I will in my own? Is your eye evil because I am good?
के मैले मेरो आफ्नो सम्पत्तिलाई मैले चाहना गरेजस्तो गर्नु न्यायसङ्गत होइन र? वा म असल भएको कारणले तिम्रा आँखा दुष्ट भएको हो?’
16 So the last will be first, and the first last, for many are called, and few chosen.”
यसैले पछिल्लो पहिलो हुनेछ, र पहिलोचाहिँ पछिल्लो हुनेछ । बोलाइएका धेरै छन्, तर चुनिएका थोरै मात्र छन् ।”
17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples by themselves in the way and said to them,
जसै येशू यरूशलेमतिर जाँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, उहाँले ती बार्है जना चेलालाई अलग्गै राख्नुभयो, र बाटोमा जाँदै गर्दा उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो,
18 “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes,
“हेर, हामीहरू यरूशलेमतर्फ जाँदै छौँ, र मानिसका पुत्र मुख्य पुजारीहरू र शास्त्रीहरूका हातमा सुम्पिनेछन् । तिनीहरूले उनलाई मृत्युदण्डको दोष लगाउनेछन्,
19 and they will condemn Him to death, and will deliver Him to the nations to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify, and the third day He will rise again.”
र उहाँको ठट्टा गर्न, उहाँलाई कोर्रा लगाउन, र क्रुसमा झुण्ड्याउनको लागि तिनीहरूले उनलाई गैरयहूदीहरूका हातमा सुम्पनेछन् । तर उनी तेस्रो दिनमा उठाइनेछन् ।”
20 Then came near to Him the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with her sons, prostrating and asking something from Him,
त्यसपछि जब्दियाका छोराहरूकी आमा आफ्ना दुई छोराका साथमा येशूकहाँ आइन् । तिनी उहाँको अगाडि घोप्टो परिन् र उहाँबाट केही कुरा पाउनलाई उहाँसँग बिन्ती गरिन् ।
21 and He said to her, “What do you will?” She says to Him, “Say that they may sit—these two sons of mine—one on Your right hand and one on the left, in Your kingdom.”
येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीले के कुराको चाहना गर्छौ?” तिनले उहाँलाई भनिन्, “तपाईंको राज्यमा यी मेरा दुई जना छोरामध्ये एउटा तपाईंको दायाँ हातपट्टि र अर्को बायाँ हातपट्टि बसून् भनेर आज्ञा गर्नुहोस् ।”
22 And Jesus answering said, “You have not known what you ask for yourselves; are you able to drink of the cup that I am about to drink? And with the immersion that I am immersed with, to be immersed?” They say to Him, “We are able.”
तर येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले के मागिरहेका छौ, सो तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन । के मैले पिउन गइरहेको कचौराबाट पिउन तिमीहरू सक्षम छौ र?” तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “हामीहरू सक्षम छौँ ।”
23 And He says to them, “Of My cup indeed you will drink, and with the immersion that I am immersed with you will be immersed; but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but—to those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.”
उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले मेरो कचौराबाट त पिउनेछौ । तर मेरो दाहिने हातपट्टि र मेरो देब्रे हातपट्टि बस्न दिने मैले होइन, तर यो तिनीहरूका निम्ति हो, जसका निम्ति मेरा पिताद्वारा तयार पारिएको छ ।”
24 And the ten having heard, were much displeased with the two brothers,
जब अरू दस जना चेलाले यो कुरालाई सुने, तिनीहरू यी दुई जना दाजुभाइसँग अति नै रुष्ट भए ।
25 and Jesus having called them near, said, “You have known that the rulers of the nations exercise lordship over them, and those [who are] great exercise authority over them,
तर येशूले तिनीहरूलाई आफूकहाँ बोलाउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरू जान्दछौ, कि गैरयहूदीहरूका शासकहरूले तिनीहरूलाई अधीनमा राख्छन्, र तिनीहरूका महत्त्वपूर्ण मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि अधिकार गर्दछन् ।
26 but not so will it be among you, but whoever may will among you to become great, let him be your servant;
तर तिमीहरूका बिचमा यस्तो हुनुहुँदैन । बरु, जो तिमीहरूका बिचमा महान् हुने चाहना गर्दछ, ऊ तिमीहरूको सेवक हुनुपर्दछ ।
27 and whoever may will among you to be first, let him be your servant;
र जो तिमीहरूका बिचमा पहिलो हुने इच्छा गर्दछ, ऊ तिमीहरूको दास हुनुपर्दछ,
28 even as the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give His life [as] a ransom for many.”
जसरी मानिसका पुत्र सेवा पाउनलाई आएका होइनन्, तर सेवा दिनलाई आएका हुन्, र धेरैका मोल तिर्नको निम्ति आफ्नो जीवन दिनलाई आएका हुन् ।”
29 And they going forth from Jericho, there followed Him a great multitude,
जसै तिनीहरू यरीहोबाट बाहिर गए, एउटा ठुलो भिड उहाँको पछि लाग्यो ।
30 and behold, two blind men sitting by the way, having heard that Jesus passes by, cried, saying, “Deal kindly with us, Lord—Son of David.”
र दुई जना दृष्टिविहीन बाटोको छेउमा बसिरहेका थिए । येशू त्यहाँबाट भएर जाँदै हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने कुरा जब तिनीहरूले सुने, तिनीहरू चिच्च्याए, “हे प्रभु, दाऊदका पुत्र, हामीमाथि कृपा गर्नुहोस् ।”
31 And the multitude charged them that they might be silent, and they cried out the more, saying, “Deal kindly with us Lord—Son of David.”
तिनीहरूलाई चुप रहन भन्दै भिडले तिनीहरूलाई हप्कायो, तर तिनीहरू अझै बढी कराएर भन्यो, “हे प्रभु, दाऊदका पुत्र, हामीमाथि कृपा गर्नुहोस् ।”
32 And having stood, Jesus called them and said, “What do you will [that] I may do to you?”
तब येशू उभिनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई बोलाएर भन्नुभयो, “मैले तिमीहरूका निम्ति के गरिदिएको तिमीहरू चाहन्छौ?”
33 They say to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened”;
तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “प्रभु, हाम्रा आँखा खोलिऊन् ।”
34 and having been moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
तब येशू दयाले भरिनुभएर तिनीहरूका आँखा छुनुभयो । तिनीहरूले त्यत्तिखेरै आफ्ना दृष्टि प्राप्त गरे र उहाँलाई पछ्याए ।
