< Matthew 16 >
1 And the Pharisees and Sadducees having come, tempting, questioned Him, to show to them a sign from Heaven,
Abhafarisayo na Abhasadukayo bhamulibhile Yesu no okumusaka koleleki abholeshe echibharikisho chinu echisoka mulwire.
2 and He answering said to them, “Evening having come, you say, Fair weather, for the sky is red,
Nawe Yesu nabhasubhya nabhabhwila kutya “Ikakinga kegolo nimwaika kutya omuyaga ni gwakisi, kulwokubha olwire ni lumutuku.
3 and at morning, Foul weather today, for the sky is red—gloomy; hypocrites, you indeed know to discern the face of the sky, but the signs of the times you are not able!
Ikabha katondo ni mwaika ati 'Omuyaga gwa lelo gutali gwakisi kulwokubha olwire nilumutuku na amele gafundikiye olwire lwona.' Omumenya okugajula kutyo olutumba luli, nawe mutakutula okugajula ebhibharikisho ebhya akatungu.
4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet”; and having left them He went away.
Olwibhulo olunyamuke nolwo obhusiani olulonda echibhalikisho, nawe chitalio echibhalikisho chona chona chinu luliyabhwa, Tali chilia echa Yona. Nio Yesu nabhasiga nagenda jae.
5 And His disciples having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves,
Abheigisibhwa bhaye nibhagobha ingego indi, nawe bhaliga bhalabhiwe okugega emikate.
6 and Jesus said to them, “Beware, and take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees”;
Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “mwiyangalile na mubhe nobhwenge ingulu ye echifwimbya cha Abhafarisayo na Abhasadukayo.”
7 and they were reasoning in themselves, saying, “Because we took no loaves.”
Abheigisibhwa nibhebhusya abhene kwa abhene nibhaika ati, Injuno nati chitagega emikate”
8 And Jesus having known, said to them, “Why reason you in yourselves, you of little faith, because you took no loaves?
Yesu nagumenya ogwo naika ati, 'Emwe abhalikilisha litoto, Kubhaki omwiganilisha nokwaikana Emwe abhene nimwaika ati insonga mutagega emikate?
9 Do you not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets you took up?
Muchali kumenya nolwo kwijuka emikate jiliya etanu ku bhanu bhiumbi bhitanu, na mwakumenye ebhibho bhilinga ebhyobhusigala?
10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
Amo emikate musanju kubhanu bhiumbi bhina, na mwagegele ebhibho bhilinga?
11 How do you not understand that I did not speak to you of bread—to take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?”
Jabha kutiki okukingila mubhule okumenya lwakutyo naliga nitakuloma nemwe ingulu ye mikate? Mugwatane ni mwikenga need echifwimbya cha Abhafarisayo na Abhasadukayo.”
12 Then they understood that He did not say to take heed of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Ni bheya nibhamenya nkanikwo aliga atabhabwila ingulu yo okwikinga ne mikate jinu jitanachifwibhya, tali okwikenga na ameigisho ga Abhafarisayo na Abhasadukayo.
13 And Jesus, having come to the parts of Caesarea Philippi, was asking His disciples, saying, “Who do men say I am—the Son of Man?”
Yesu ejile akakinga mumbalama ja Kaisaria ya Filipi, nabhabhusha abheigisibhwa bhae, naika ati, “Angu abhanu abhaika ati Omwana wo Omunu niga?”
14 And they said, “Some, John the Immerser, and others, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”
Nibhaika ati, “Abhandi abhaika ati ni Yoana Omubhatija; Abhandi Eliya; ka abhandi, Yeremia, amo umwi wabhalagi.
15 He says to them, “And you—who do you say I am?”
Nabhabhwila ati, “Kemwe omwaika ati anye nanyega?”
16 And Simon Peter answering said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Mbe lisubhyo nilisoka ku Simoni Petro naika ati, “Awe nawe Kristo Omwana wa Mungu unu alamile.”
17 And Jesus answering said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but My Father who is in the heavens.
Yesu namusubhya namubhwila ati, “awe ulinalibhando, Simoni Bari Yona, kulwokubha amanyinga no omubhili bhitakwelesha omusango ogwo, Tali ni Lata wani unu ali mulwire.
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Assembly, and [the] gates of Hades will not prevail against it; (Hadēs )
Mbe anye ona enikubhwila ati awe nawe Petro, na ingulu ya litare linu enija okumbakako likanisa lyani. Ne emilyango ja nyombe jitalitula kuliiga. (Hadēs )
19 and I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you may bind on the earth will be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever you may loose on the earth will be having been loosed in the heavens.”
Ndikuyana jinfungurujo Jo obhukama bhwa mulwire. Chonachona chinu ulibhoya muchalo (munsi) chilibha chibhoyelwe mulwire, na chonachona chinu uligula munsi chiligulwa nolwo mulwire.
20 Then He charged His disciples that they may say to no one that He is Jesus the Christ.
“Neya Yesu nabhalagilila abheigisibhwa bhasiga kubhwila omunu wonawona ati omwene niwe Kristo.
21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that it is necessary for Him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders, and chief priests, and scribes, and to be put to death, and the third day to rise.
Kwambila akatungu ako Yesu namba obhwabhila abheigisibhwa bhaye ati ni bhusibhusi agende Yerusalemu, anyasibhwe kumagambo mafu mumabhoko ga abhakaruka na abhakulu bha bha abhagabhisi na abhandiki, okunyita no okusuruka olunaku lwa kasatu.
22 And having taken Him aside, Peter began to rebuke Him, saying, “Be kind to Yourself, Lord; this will not be to You”;
Neya Petro nasubhya Yesu kumbali namugonya, kwo kumubhwila ati “Omusango gunu gubhe kula nawe, Lata bhugenyi elyo lyasiga okukubhona.
23 and He having turned, said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to Me, for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.”
Nawe Yesu nainduka namubhwila Petro ati, “Shetani subha inyuma Yani, kulwokubha oweselanya amagambo ga Nyamuanga, nawe ugwatilie amagambo ga abhana bhanu.”
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wills to come after Me, let him disown himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me,
Neya Yesu nabhwila abheigisibhwa bhaye ati, “Omunu wonawona akabha nenda okundubha, nibhusibhusi egane omwene, etwike omusalabha gwaye, nio asoke inyuma.
25 for whoever may will to save his life will lose it, and whoever may lose his life for My sake will find it;
Kulwokubha unukenda okukisha obhulame bhwaye kabhusha, na kuwona wona unu kabhusha ubhulame bhwaye kulwa injuno yani kabhukisha.
26 for what is a man profited if he may gain the whole world, but of his life suffer loss? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his life?
Ni matundoki ganu kabhona omunu akabhona echalo chona nawe akabhusha obhulame bhwaye? Mbee, omunu katula okusosha chinuki koleleki aingye no obhulame bhwaye?
27 For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of His Father, with His messengers, and then He will reward each according to his work.
Kulwokubha Omwana Womunu alijila mwikusho lye Esemwene na bhamalaika bhaye. Alija okusosha omuyelo kubhuli munu okwingana ne ebhikolwa ebhikolwa bhaye.
28 Truly I say to you, there are certain of those standing here who will not taste of death until they may see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
Nichimali enibhabhwila ati bhalio abhandi mwimwe bhanu mwimeleguyu anu bhanu mutaliloja olufu okukingila okulola Omwana Womunu naja mubhukama bhwaye.
