< Matthew 16 >
1 And the Pharisees and Sadducees having come, tempting, questioned Him, to show to them a sign from Heaven,

3 and at morning, Foul weather today, for the sky is red—gloomy; hypocrites, you indeed know to discern the face of the sky, but the signs of the times you are not able!
4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet”; and having left them He went away.
Moala niba yaaba n bia ki go ha U Tienu sanhoadima miadi sinankeeni. Bi kan tieni bipo sinankeentoa kali Jonasa yua. Lani, o den fii ki ñani bikani ki ban caa.
5 And His disciples having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves,

7 and they were reasoning in themselves, saying, “Because we took no loaves.”
8 And Jesus having known, said to them, “Why reason you in yourselves, you of little faith, because you took no loaves?
Jesu den bandi ban bungi yaala ki yedi: Yinba yaaba ya dandanli n ki yaba, be n teni ke yi bungi ke n maadi yeni kelima yii taa dupen yaa po yo.
9 Do you not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets you took up?
Yi daa kpaagi ki bandi yo? Yii tiadi bi dupenmuudiba keni a nitudimuuda po leni yin den gbieni yaa baabuodi banlu?
10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
11 How do you not understand that I did not speak to you of bread—to take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?”
Li ga lede ke yii bandi ke min yedi yin fangi yi yula leni Falisieninba leni Sadusieninba daliali yeni, ke mii maadi dupen po ka?
12 Then they understood that He did not say to take heed of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Lanwani bi ji den bandi ke laa tie ke o yedi ban fangi bi yula leni dupen yaa daliali ka, ama ke li tie Falisieninba leni Sadusieninba bangime.
13 And Jesus, having come to the parts of Caesarea Philippi, was asking His disciples, saying, “Who do men say I am—the Son of Man?”
Jesu n den pundi Filipa diema ya Sesale, o den buali o hoadikaaba yaa buali n tie na: Bi niba tua ke mini o Joa Bijua tie hme?

16 And Simon Peter answering said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Simono Pieli den goa ki yedi o: A tie U Tienu n Gandi Yua, U Tienu yua n fo Bijua.
17 And Jesus answering said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but My Father who is in the heavens.
Jesu dengoa ki yedi o: Li pamanli ye leni a, Simono, Jonasa bijua, kelima nisaalo ka waani a la, n Baa yua n ye tanpoli n doagidi opo la.

N baa teni atanpoli diema bonluoda. han baa loli yaala handuna nni kuli, li baa loli tanpoli po. Han baa lodi yaala mo handuna nni kuli, li baa lodi tanpoli po.
20 Then He charged His disciples that they may say to no one that He is Jesus the Christ.
21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that it is necessary for Him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders, and chief priests, and scribes, and to be put to death, and the third day to rise.

23 and He having turned, said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to Me, for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.”
Ama Jesu den jigidi ki yedi Pieli: ña n puoli, Sutaani, a tie npo tingbali bonla, kelima a yantiana naa tie U Tienu yaa yaa, ama bi nisaaliba ya yantiana.

26 for what is a man profited if he may gain the whole world, but of his life suffer loss? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his life?
27 For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of His Father, with His messengers, and then He will reward each according to his work.
