Matthew 15
1 Then they come to Jesus from Jerusalem—scribes and Pharisees—saying,

2 “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they may eat bread.”

3 And He answering said to them, “Why also do you transgress the command of God because of your tradition?
Jesu abetavi mi navawambila kuti, linu inwe - hamurwisa idaezo ze Reeza ivaka lyachisiyakulu chenu chinzi?
4 For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother; and, He who is speaking evil of father or mother—let him die the death;
Mukuti Ireeza avati, 'Uhe ikute kweso ni nyoko,' mi 'Iye yowamba bubilala kwesi ni nyina, ikumbya kafwe.'
5 but you say, Whoever may say to father or mother, An offering [is] whatever you may be profited by me—
Kono mute kuti, 'Yense yeti nati kubesi ni banyina, “Ituso yonse yimubali kuyelele kuwana kwangu linu chili impo iya kweReeza,”
6 and he may not honor his father or his mother, and you set aside the command of God because of your tradition.
uzo muntu kayelele kukuteka besi. Chenzila yina bulyo wazimbuluka inzwi lye Reeza chevaka lachisayakulu chenu.
7 Hypocrites, Isaiah prophesied well of you, saying,
Inwe balihele, Isaya avapolofiti chakusima kazenu havati,
8 This people draws near to Me with their mouth, and with the lips it honors Me, but their heart is far off from Me;
Aba bantu banikuteka chatuholo twavo, kono inkulo zabo zina kule name.
9 and in vain they worship Me, teaching teachings—commands of men.”
Banilapela ni basawani chimwi, kakuli itumelo ivaruta izimene hetaelo zamuntu.”
10 And having called near the multitude, He said to them, “Hear and understand:
Linu chalisupila ikunga ni kuliwambila kuti, “Mutekeleze ni kuzuwisisa -
11 [it is] not that which is coming into the mouth [that] defiles the man, but that which is coming forth from the mouth, this defiles the man.”
Kakwina chinjila mukaholo chiizuza muntu ikwe. Muchibaka chobulyo, chizwa mukaholo, njecho chiizuza muntu ikwe.”
12 Then His disciples having come near, said to Him, “Have You known that the Pharisees, having heard the word, were stumbled?”
Linu barutwana babezi ni kuwambila Jesu, “Kana wizi kuti bafalisi babanyelwa habazuwa ichi chiwambo?”
13 And He answering said, “Every plant that My heavenly Father did not plant will be rooted up;
Jesu avetavi mi nati, “Chimenantu chonse chasanaavabyali Tayo wakwiwulu kachinyukulwe ni kusohelwa kunze. Mubasiye bobona, bahitili bazihofu.
14 leave them alone, they are guides—blind of blind; and if blind may guide blind, both will fall into a ditch.”
Mi heva muhofu nahitila muhofu kunine, vonse kabawile mwilindi.”
15 And Peter answering said to Him, “Explain to us this allegory.”
Pitorosi avetabi mi nati kwa Jesu, “Tutolokele iyi nguli.”
16 And Jesus said, “Are you also yet without understanding?
Jesu nati, “nanwe muchiikele nimusena inkutwisiso?
17 Do you not understand that all that is going into the mouth passes into the belly, and is cast forth into the drain?
Inwe kamuboni kuti chonse chiinjila mukaholo chihita kuya mwibumu mi linu chikazwa kuya muchimbuzi?”
18 But the things coming forth from the mouth come forth from the heart, and these defile the man;
Kono zintu zizwa mukaholo zizwa kunkulo. Nji zintu ziizuza muntu ikwe.
19 for out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, whoredoms, thefts, false witnessings, slanders:
Kakuli munkulo kuzwa mihupulo mibilala, vwihai, bubuki, zakusomana, busa, kupaka zamapa, ni kutukana.
20 these are the things defiling the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.”
Ezi nji zintu ziizuza muntu ikwe. Kono kulya ni mayanza asasambite kakwiizuzi muntu ikwe.”
21 And Jesus having come forth from there, withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon,
Linu Jesu chayenda kuzwa mwecho chibaka kulikungula ni kuya muzikiliti zamileñi iba Tire ni Sidoni.
22 and behold, a woman, a Canaanite, having come forth from those borders, called to Him, saying, “Deal kindly with me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is miserably demonized.”
Mi hamulole, mwanakazi wa Mukanana abezi kuzwa mwechina chikiliti. Mi chahuweleza mi nichati, “Nifwile inse, Simwine, mwana a Daafita, mwanangu wamukazana ukatezwe madimona.”
23 And He did not answer her a word; and His disciples having come to Him, were asking Him, saying, “Let her away, because she cries after us”;
Kono Jesu kana abamwitabi nanga inzwi. Barutwana bakwe babezi ni kumukumbila, ni bati, “Muhindikile kuna, kakuli utuchitala ilata.”
24 and He answering said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Kono Jesu abetabi mi nati, “Kana nibatumwa kozuhi nozuhi kunze yembelele izobete munzuvo ya Isilaele.”
25 And having come, she was worshiping Him, saying, “Lord, help me”;
Kono iye neza nikwiza kufukama habusu bwakwe, nati, “Simwine, unituse.”
26 and He answering said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread, and to cast to the little dogs.”
Netaba nati, “Kakuyelele kuhinda chinkwa chabahwile ni kuchiha tumbwazana.”
27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, for even the little dogs eat of the crumbs that are falling from their lords’ table”;
Mwanakazi nati, “Eni Simwine, kono nanga tumbwazana tulyanga ziwanga kumilomo hetafule ibafumwa to.”
28 then answering, Jesus said to her, “O woman, great [is] your faith, let it be to you as you will”; and her daughter was healed from that hour.
Linu Jesu abetavi mi abati kwali, “Mwanakazi, itumelo yako inkando. Usiye kutendahale kwako sina mosakila.” Mi mwanakwe abaholi chehola iswana.
29 And having departed from there, Jesus came near to the Sea of Galilee, and having gone up to the mountain, He was sitting there,
Jesu abasiyi icho chibaka mi nayenda kumbali ni Iwate la Galileya. Kuzwaho abatanti kuya helunduzana ni kukekala hateni.
30 and there came to Him great multitudes, having with them lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they cast them at the feet of Jesus, and He healed them,
Ikunga ikando nilyeza kwali. Nibaleta bachukuta, bahofu, basatambi, ni basayendi, ni bamwi babali kulwala. Ni babaleta hamatende a Jesu, mi nabahoza bonse.
31 so that the multitudes wondered, seeing mute ones speaking, maimed whole, lame walking, and blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Chobulyo ikunga nilyamakala chabukando hababona basatambi kuti chibawamba, bachukuta chibaba nenza, basayendi chibayenda, ni bahofu chibabona. Niba lumba Ereeza wa Isilaele.
32 And Jesus having called near His disciples, said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because now three days they continue with Me, and they do not have what they may eat; and to let them away fasting I will not, lest they faint in the way.”
Jesu abasupi barutwana bakwe mi nati, “Nifwila ikunga inse, mukuti chibabekali name mazuba otatwe mi kakwina chibabali. Kanisuni kubalukulula ni basalile, kokuma sanzi bazuminini munzila.”
33 And His disciples say to Him, “From where to us in a wilderness [will we get] so many loaves, as to fill so great a multitude?”
Barutwana nibawamba kwali ni bati, “Katuwane kuhi mañende azinkwa mwihalaupa likena buti kuti tufepe ikunga ikando buti?”
34 And Jesus says to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fishes.”
Jesu nabawambila kuti, “Mwina mañende ongahi?” Babetabi kuti, “Amana iyanza ni obele, ni tunswi tulikene.”
35 And He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the ground,
Linu Jesu nalaela ikunga kwikala hansi.
36 and having taken the seven loaves and the fishes, having given thanks, He broke, and gave to His disciples, and the disciples [gave] to the multitude.
Nichahinda mañende amana iyanza ni obele ni nswi, mi hamana kulitumela, ni changamona mañende ni kwaha kubarutwana bakwe. Barutwana nibaha mañende kwikunga.
37 And they all ate, and were filled, and they took up what was over of the broken pieces seven baskets full,
Bantu bonse nibalya ni kuikuta. Mi nibakunganya zilyo zibashali zibangamoki tukoto, zitanda zimana iyanza ni zobele ni zezula.
38 and those eating were four thousand men, apart from women and children.
Babali ibali balule bone, kuzwisa kwateñi banakazi ni bahwile.
39 And having let away the multitudes, He went into the boat, and came to the borders of Magdala.
Linu Jesu chalukulula ikunga mi nenjila muchikepe ni kuya muchikiliti cha Magadani.
