Matthew 13
1 And in that day Jesus, having gone forth from the house, was sitting by the sea,
அதே நாளில், இயேசு வீட்டைவிட்டு வெளியே போய், கடலின் அருகே உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்.
2 and gathered together to Him were many multitudes, so that He having gone into the boat sat down, and all the multitude on the beach stood,
அப்பொழுது மக்கள் பெருங்கூட்டமாய் இயேசுவைச் சுற்றி ஒன்றுகூடிவந்தனர். ஆகவே, அவர் ஒரு படகில் ஏறி, அதில் உட்கார்ந்தார். மக்கள் எல்லோரும் கரையில் நின்றார்கள்.
3 and He spoke to them many things in allegories, saying, “Behold, the sower went forth to sow,
இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பல காரியங்களை உவமைகள் மூலம் சொன்னார். அவைகளில் இது ஒன்றாகும்: “ஒரு விவசாயி விதைகளை விதைக்கும்படி புறப்பட்டான்.
4 and in his sowing, some indeed fell by the way, and the birds having come, devoured them,
அவன் விதைகளைத் தூவி விதைக்கையில், சில விதைகள் பாதையருகே விழுந்தன. பறவைகள் வந்து அவற்றைக் கொத்தித் தின்றுவிட்டன.
5 and others fell on the rocky places where they did not have much earth, and immediately they sprang forth, through having no depth of earth,
சில விதைகள் மண் அதிகமாய் இல்லாத கற்பாறையான இடங்களில் விழுந்தன, மண் ஆழமாக இல்லாததால், அது விரைவாக முளைத்தாலும்
6 and the sun having risen they were scorched, and through having no root, they withered,
வெயில் அதிகமானபோது, பயிர்கள் வாடிப்போயின; வேர் இல்லாததினாலே, அவை உலர்ந்தும் போயின.
7 and others fell on the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them,
வேறுசில விதைகள் முட்செடிகளின் நடுவில் விழுந்தன. முட்செடிகள் வளர்ந்து, பயிர்களை நெருக்கிப்போட்டன.
8 and others fell on the good ground, and were giving fruit, some indeed a hundredfold, and some sixty, and some thirty.
ஆனால் வேறுசில விதைகளோ, நல்ல மண்ணில் விழுந்தன. அங்கே அவை முறையே நூறு, அறுபது, முப்பது மடங்காக விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்தன.
9 He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.”
கேட்பதற்கு காதுள்ளவன் கேட்கட்டும்” என்றார்.
10 And the disciples having come near, said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in allegories?”
அப்பொழுது சீடர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வந்து, “நீர் மக்களுடன் ஏன் உவமைகள் மூலம் பேசுகிறீர்?” என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
11 And He answering said to them that, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, and to these it has not been given,
இயேசு அதற்குப் பதிலாக உரைத்தது: “பரலோக அரசின் இரகசியத்தைப் பற்றிய அறிவு உங்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் அவர்களுக்கோ அது கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை.
12 for whoever has, it will be given to him, and he will have overabundance, and whoever has not, even that which he has will be taken from him.
இருக்கிறவனுக்கு மேலும் கொடுக்கப்படும். அவன் நிறைவைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வான். இல்லாதவனிடம் உள்ளதும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்.
13 Because of this, in allegories I speak to them, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor understand,
இதனாலேயே, அவர்களுடன் நான் உவமைகள் மூலம் பேசுகிறேன்: “‘அவர்கள் கண்டும் காணாதவர்களாகவும், அவர்கள் கேட்டும் கேளாதவர்களாகவும், விளங்கிக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.’
14 and fulfilled on them is the prophecy of Isaiah that says, With hearing you will hear, and you will not understand, and seeing you will see, and you will not perceive,
ஏசாயாவின் இறைவாக்கு இவ்வாறு அவர்களில் நிறைவேறியது: “‘நீங்கள் எப்பொழுதும் காதாரக் கேட்டும் ஒருபோதும் உணரமாட்டீர்கள்; நீங்கள் எப்பொழுதும் கண்ணாரக் கண்டும் ஒருபோதும் அறிந்துகொள்ளமாட்டீர்கள்.
15 for the heart of this people was made obtuse, and with the ears they barely heard, and they closed their eyes, lest they might see with the eyes, and might hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and turn back, and I might heal them.
ஏனெனில் இந்த மக்களுடைய இருதயம் மரத்துப்போய் இருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் தங்கள் காதுகளால் மிக அரிதாகவே கேட்கிறார்கள், தங்களுடைய கண்களையும் மூடிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆகையால், அவர்கள் தங்கள் கண்களால் காணாமலும், தங்கள் காதுகளால் கேட்காமலும், தங்கள் இருதயங்களினால் உணர்ந்து, மனம் மாறாமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்; நானும் அவர்களைக் குணமாக்காமல் இருக்கிறேன்.’
16 And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear,
உங்கள் கண்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவை, ஏனெனில் அவை காண்கின்றன; உங்கள் காதுகள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவை, ஏனெனில் அவை கேட்கின்றன.
17 for truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see that which you look on, and they did not see, and to hear that which you hear, and they did not hear.
நான் உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், பல இறைவாக்கினர்களும், நீதிமான்களும் காண்பவற்றைக் காண விரும்பியும் அவர்கள் அதைக் காணவில்லை. நீங்கள் கேட்பவற்றை அவர்கள் கேட்க விரும்பியும் அவர்கள் அதைக் கேட்கவில்லை.
18 You, therefore, hear the allegory of the sower:
“ஆகையால் இப்பொழுது விதைக்கிறவனின் உவமையின் விளக்கத்தைக் கேளுங்கள்:
19 Everyone hearing the word of the kingdom, and not understanding—the evil one comes, and snatches that which has been sown in his heart; this is that sown by the way.
யாராவது இறைவனுடைய அரசைக் குறித்தச் செய்தியைக் கேட்டு, அதை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளாதிருக்கும்போது, தீயவன் வந்து அவருடைய இருதயத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவற்றைப் பறித்தெடுக்கிறான். இதுவே பாதை ஓரத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதையாகும்.
20 And that sown on the rocky places, this is he who is hearing the word, and immediately with joy is receiving it,
கற்பாறையான இடங்களில் விழுந்த விதை, வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டவுடன் அதை சந்தோஷத்துடன் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள்.
21 and he has no root in himself, but is temporary, and persecution or tribulation having happened because of the word, immediately he is stumbled.
ஆனால் அவர்களில் வேரில்லாததால், அவர்கள் கொஞ்சக்காலம் மட்டுமே நிலைத்திருப்பார்கள். வார்த்தையின் நிமித்தம் கஷ்டங்களும், துன்பங்களும் வரும்போது, அவர்கள் விரைவாய் விழுந்துபோவார்கள்.
22 And that sown toward the thorns, this is he who is hearing the word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, chokes the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
முட்செடிகளுக்கு இடையில் விழுந்த விதைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள், வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டும் உலக வாழ்வின் கவலைகளும், செல்வச் செழிப்பின் வஞ்சனைகளும், அந்த வார்த்தையை நெருக்கிவிடுகின்றன. அதனால் அவர்கள் பலனற்றுப் போவார்கள். (aiōn g165)
23 And that sown on the good ground: this is he who is hearing the word, and is understanding, who indeed bears fruit, and makes, some indeed a hundredfold, and some sixty, and some thirty.”
நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்த விதைக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள், வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு அதை விளங்கிக்கொள்கிறவர்கள். இவர்கள் நூறு, அறுபது, முப்பது மடங்காக விளைச்சலைக் கொடுப்பார்கள்.”
24 Another allegory He set before them, saying, “The kingdom of the heavens was likened to a man sowing good seed in his field,
இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு வேறொரு உவமையைச் சொன்னார்: “பரலோக அரசு ஒரு மனிதன் தனது வயலில் நல்ல விதையை விதைத்ததற்கு ஒப்பாய் இருக்கிறது.
25 and while men are sleeping, his enemy came and sowed darnel in the midst of the wheat, and went away,
எல்லோரும் நித்திரையாய் இருக்கையில், அவனுடைய பகைவன் வந்து, கோதுமைகளுக்கிடையே களைகளை விதைத்து விட்டுப் போய்விட்டான்.
26 and when the herb sprang up, and yielded fruit, then appeared also the darnel.
கோதுமை முளைத்து வளர்ந்து கதிர்விட்டது. அப்பொழுது களைகளும் காணப்பட்டன.
27 And the servants of the householder, having come near, said to him, Lord, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then does it have the darnel?
“வயலுக்குச் சொந்தக்காரனின் வேலைக்காரர்கள் அவனிடம் வந்து, ‘ஐயா, நீர் உமது வயலில் நல்ல விதையை அல்லவா விதைத்தீர்? அப்படியிருக்க களைகள் எங்கிருந்து வந்தன?’ என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
28 And he says to them, A man, an enemy, did this; and the servants said to him, Will you, then, [that] having gone away we may gather it up?
“அதற்கு எஜமான், ‘பகைவனே அதைச் செய்தான்’ என்று பதிலளித்தான். “வேலைக்காரர்கள் அவனிடம், ‘நாங்கள் போய் அவற்றைப் பிடுங்கிப் போடட்டுமா?’ என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
29 And he said, No, lest—gathering up the darnel—you root up with it the wheat;
“அதற்கு எஜமான், ‘இல்லை. நீங்கள் களைகளைப் பிடுங்கும்போது, அவற்றுடன் கோதுமையையும் பிடுங்கிவிடக் கூடும்.
30 permit both to grow together until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the darnel, and bind it in bundles, to burn it, and the wheat gather up into my storehouse.”
அறுவடைவரைக்கும் இரண்டும் சேர்ந்து வளரட்டும். அப்பொழுது நான் அறுவடை செய்கிறவர்களிடம்: முதலில் களைகளை ஒன்றுசேர்த்து, அவற்றை எரிப்பதற்காகக் கட்டுங்கள்; அதற்குப் பின்பு கோதுமையை சேர்த்து, எனது களஞ்சியத்திற்கு கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்பேன்.’”
31 Another allegory He set before them, saying, “The kingdom of the heavens is like to a grain of mustard, which a man having taken, sowed in his field,
இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு வேறொரு உவமையைச் சொன்னார்: “பரலோக அரசு, ஒருவன் தனது நிலத்தில் விதைத்த கடுகுவிதையைப் போன்றது.
32 which less, indeed, is than all the seeds, but when it may be grown, is greatest of the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and rest in its branches.”
அது எல்லா விதைகளிலும் சிறிதானதாக இருந்தும், அது வளரும்போது, தோட்டத்திலுள்ள மற்றெல்லாச் செடிகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் பெரியதாய் வளர்ந்து, மரமாகிறது. அதனால் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் வந்து, அதன் கிளைகளில் தங்குகின்றன” என்றார்.
33 Another allegory He spoke to them: “The kingdom of the heavens is like to leaven, which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened.”
இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு வேறொரு உவமையைச் சொன்னார்: “பரலோக அரசு புளிப்புச்சத்துக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது. ஒரு பெண் ஏறக்குறைய இருபத்து ஏழு கிலோ மாவிலே சிறிதளவு புளித்தமாவைக் கலந்து, அது முழுவதும் புளிக்கும்வரை வைத்ததற்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது” என்றார்.
34 All these things Jesus spoke in allegories to the multitudes, and without an allegory He was not speaking to them,
இயேசு இந்தக் காரியங்களையெல்லாம் கூடியிருந்த மக்களுக்கு உவமைகள் மூலமே பேசினார்; இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு உவமைகள் இல்லாமல் எதையுமே பேசவில்லை.
35 that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open in allegories My mouth, I will utter things having been hidden from the foundation of the world.”
இறைவாக்கினன் மூலம் கூறப்பட்டவை இவ்வாறு நிறைவேறின: “நான் உவமைக் கதைகளால் என் வாயைத் திறப்பேன். உலகம் படைக்கப்பட்டதிலிருந்து மறைபொருளானவைகளைக் கூறுவேன்.”
36 Then having let away the multitudes, Jesus came into the house, and His disciples came near to Him, saying, “Explain to us the allegory of the darnel of the field.”
அதற்குப் பின்பு இயேசு, மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைவிட்டு வீட்டிற்குள் சென்றார். அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரிடம் வந்து, “வயலின் களைகளைப் பற்றிய உவமையை எங்களுக்கு விளக்கிச்சொல்லும்” என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
37 And He answering said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Man,
இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலளித்துச் சொன்னதாவது: “நல்ல விதையை விதைத்தவர் மானிடமகனாகிய நானே.
38 and the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, and the darnel are the sons of the evil one,
வயல் என்பது உலகம், நல்ல விதை பரலோக அரசின் பிள்ளைகள். களைகளோ தீயவனின் பிள்ளைகள்.
39 and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil, and the harvest is [the] full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers. (aiōn g165)
அவற்றை விதைக்கிற பகைவன் சாத்தான். அறுவடை என்பது உலகத்தின் முடிவு. அறுவடை செய்பவர்கள் இறைத்தூதர்கள். (aiōn g165)
40 As, then, the darnel is gathered up, and is burned with fire, so will it be in the full end of this age; (aiōn g165)
“களைகள் பிடுங்கப்பட்டு நெருப்பில் எரிக்கப்படுகிறதுபோல, இந்த உலகத்தின் முடிவிலும் நடைபெறும். (aiōn g165)
41 the Son of Man will send forth His messengers, and they will gather up out of His kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing the lawlessness,
மானிடமகனாகிய நான் எனது தூதரை அனுப்புவேன். அவர்கள் போய் எனது அரசில் இருக்கிற பாவத்திற்கு காரணமான எல்லாவற்றையும், தீமை செய்கிறவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் பிடுங்கிப் போடுவார்கள்.
42 and will cast them into the furnace of the fire; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
இறைத்தூதர் அவர்களை எரியும் சூளைக்குள் எறிந்துவிடுவார்கள். அங்கே அழுகையும், பற்கடிப்பும் இருக்கும்.
43 Then will the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.
அப்பொழுது நீதிமான்களோ தங்களுடைய பிதாவின் அரசில் சூரியனைப்போல் ஒளி வீசுவார்கள். கேட்பதற்கு காதுள்ளவன் கேட்கட்டும்.
44 Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to treasure hid in the field, which a man having found, hid, and from his joy goes, and all, as much as he has, he sells, and buys that field.
“பரலோக அரசு, ஒரு வயலில் மறைந்து கிடக்கும் புதையலுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது. அதை ஒருவன் கண்டுபிடித்தபோது, அவன் அதைத் திரும்பவும் மறைத்து வைத்துவிட்டு, பின்பு போய் தனது மகிழ்ச்சியின் நிமித்தம், தன்னிடமுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, அந்த வயலை வாங்குகிறான்.
45 Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a merchant, seeking good pearls,
“மேலும் பரலோக அரசு, வியாபாரி ஒருவன் நல்ல முத்துக்களைத் தேடுவதற்கு ஒப்பாய் இருக்கிறது.
46 who having found one pearl of great price, having gone away, has sold all, as much as he had, and bought it.
பெரும் மதிப்புள்ள ஒரு முத்தைக் கண்டதும், அவன் போய் தன்னிடமுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, அதை வாங்குகிறான்.
47 Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered together of every kind,
“மேலும் பரலோக அரசு, கடலிலே வலையை வீசி எல்லா விதமான மீன்களையும் பிடிப்பதற்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது.
48 which, when it was filled, having drawn up again on the beach, and having sat down, they gathered the good into vessels, and the bad they cast out,
வலை நிரம்பியபோது, மீனவர் அதைக் கரைக்கு இழுத்தெடுத்தார்கள். பின்பு அவர்கள் உட்கார்ந்து, நல்ல மீன்களையெல்லாம் ஒன்றாகக் கூடைகளில் சேர்த்தார்கள். கெட்டவற்றையோ எறிந்துவிட்டார்கள்.
49 so will it be in the full end of the age, the messengers will come forth and separate the evil out of the midst of the righteous, (aiōn g165)
இவ்வாறே உலகத்தின் முடிவிலும் நடக்கும். இறைத்தூதர் வந்து நீதிமான்களிலிருந்து தீயவர்களைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து (aiōn g165)
50 and will cast them into the furnace of the fire; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.”
அவர்களை எரிகிற சூளைக்குள் எறிந்துபோடுவார்கள். அங்கே அழுகையும், பற்கடிப்பும் இருக்கும்.
51 Jesus says to them, “Did you understand all these?” They say to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
“இவற்றையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் விளங்கிக்கொண்டீர்களா?” என்று இயேசு சீடர்களை கேட்டார். “ஆம்” என அவர்கள் பதிலளித்தார்கள்.
52 And He said to them, “Because of this, every scribe having been discipled in regard to the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a householder, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.”
“ஆகவே, பரலோக அரசின் சீடனான ஒவ்வொரு மோசேயின் சட்ட ஆசிரியனும், தனது பொக்கிஷ அறையிலிருந்து புதியவைகளையும், பழையவைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுவருகின்ற ஒரு வீட்டின் சொந்தக்காரனுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறான்” என்றார்.
53 And it came to pass, when Jesus finished these allegories, He removed from there,
இயேசு இந்த உவமையைச் சொல்லி முடித்தபின், அங்கிருந்து சென்றார்.
54 and having come to His own country, He was teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and were saying, “From where to this One this wisdom and the mighty works?
அவர் தமது சொந்த பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்து, அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயத்தில் மக்களுக்குப் போதிக்கத் தொடங்கினார், அவர்கள் வியப்படைந்தார்கள். “இவன் இப்படிப்பட்ட ஞானத்தையும், அற்புத வல்லமையையும் எங்கிருந்து பெற்றான்?” என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
55 Is this not the carpenter’s Son? Is His mother not called Mary, and His brothers James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
அவர்கள், “இவன் தச்சனின் மகன் அல்லவா? இவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் மரியாள் அல்லவா? யாக்கோபு, யோசேப்பு, சீமோன், யூதா ஆகியோர் இவனது சகோதரர்கள் அல்லவா?
56 And His sisters—are they not all with us? From where, then, to this One all these?”
இவனுடைய சகோதரிகளும், நம்முடன் இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? அப்படியிருக்க, இந்த மனிதன் இந்தக் காரியங்களை எங்கிருந்து பெற்றான்?” என்று சொல்லி,
57 And they were stumbled at Him. And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, and in his own house”:
அவரைக்குறித்துக் கோபமடைந்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “ஓர் இறைவாக்கினன் அவனது சொந்தப் பட்டணத்திலும், அவனது சொந்த வீட்டிலுமேயன்றி வேறெங்கும் மதிப்பு பெறுவான்” என்றார்.
58 and He did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.
அவர்களுடைய விசுவாசக் குறைவின் நிமித்தம், இயேசு அங்கு அநேக அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யவில்லை.
