Mark 4
1 And again He began to teach by the sea, and there was gathered to Him a great multitude, so that He, having gone into the boat, sat in the sea, and all the multitude was near the sea, on the land,
அநந்தரம்’ ஸ ஸமுத்³ரதடே புநருபதே³ஷ்டும்’ ப்ராரேபே⁴, ததஸ்தத்ர ப³ஹுஜநாநாம்’ ஸமாக³மாத் ஸ ஸாக³ரோபரி நௌகாமாருஹ்ய ஸமுபவிஷ்ட: ; ஸர்வ்வே லோகா: ஸமுத்³ரகூலே தஸ்து²: |
2 and He taught them many things in allegories, and He said to them in His teaching:
ததா³ ஸ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தகதா²பி⁴ ர்ப³ஹூபதி³ஷ்டவாந் உபதி³ஸ²ம்’ஸ்²ச கதி²தவாந்,
3 “Listen, behold, the sower went forth to sow;
அவதா⁴நம்’ குருத, ஏகோ பீ³ஜவப்தா பீ³ஜாநி வப்தும்’ க³த: ;
4 and it came to pass, in the sowing, some fell by the way, and the birds of the sky came and devoured it;
வபநகாலே கியந்தி பீ³ஜாநி மார்க³பாஸ்²வே பதிதாநி, தத ஆகாஸீ²யபக்ஷிண ஏத்ய தாநி சகா²து³: |
5 and other fell on the rocky ground, where it did not have much earth, and immediately it sprang forth, because of having no depth of earth,
கியந்தி பீ³ஜாநி ஸ்வல்பம்ரு’த்திகாவத்பாஷாணபூ⁴மௌ பதிதாநி தாநி ம்ரு’தோ³ல்பத்வாத் ஸீ²க்⁴ரமங்குரிதாநி;
6 and the sun having risen, it was scorched, and because of having no root it withered;
கிந்தூதி³தே ஸூர்ய்யே த³க்³தா⁴நி ததா² மூலாநோ நாதோ⁴க³தத்வாத் ஸு²ஷ்காணி ச|
7 and other fell toward the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it gave no fruit;
கியந்தி பீ³ஜாநி கண்டகிவநமத்⁴யே பதிதாநி தத: கண்டகாநி ஸம்’வ்ரு’த்³வ்ய தாநி ஜக்³ரஸுஸ்தாநி ந ச ப²லிதாநி|
8 and other fell to the good ground, and was giving fruit, coming up and increasing, and it was bearing, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one a hundred.”
ததா² கியந்தி பீ³ஜாந்யுத்தமபூ⁴மௌ பதிதாநி தாநி ஸம்’வ்ரு’த்³வ்ய ப²லாந்யுத்பாதி³தாநி கியந்தி பீ³ஜாநி த்ரிம்’ஸ²த்³கு³ணாநி கியந்தி ஷஷ்டிகு³ணாநி கியந்தி ஸ²தகு³ணாநி ப²லாநி ப²லிதவந்தி|
9 And He said to them, “He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.”
அத² ஸ தாநவத³த் யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோதும்’ கர்ணௌ ஸ்த: ஸ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
10 And when He was alone, those around Him, with the Twelve, asked Him of the allegory,
தத³நந்தரம்’ நிர்ஜநஸமயே தத்ஸங்கி³நோ த்³வாத³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்²ச தம்’ தத்³த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தவாக்யஸ்யார்த²ம்’ பப்ரச்சு²: |
11 and He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the secret of the Kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, in allegories are all the things done,
ததா³ ஸ தாநுதி³தவாந் ஈஸ்²வரராஜ்யஸ்ய நிகூ³ட⁴வாக்யம்’ போ³த்³து⁴ம்’ யுஷ்மாகமதி⁴காரோ(அ)ஸ்தி;
12 that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest they may turn, and the sins may be forgiven them.”
கிந்து யே வஹிர்பூ⁴தா: "தே பஸ்²யந்த: பஸ்²யந்தி கிந்து ந ஜாநந்தி, ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்த: ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி கிந்து ந பு³த்⁴யந்தே, சேத்தை ர்மந: ஸு கதா³பி பரிவர்த்திதேஷு தேஷாம்’ பாபாந்யமோசயிஷ்யந்த," அதோஹேதோஸ்தாந் ப்ரதி த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தைரேவ தாநி மயா கதி²தாநி|
13 And He says to them, “Have you not known this allegory? And how will you know all the allegories?
அத² ஸ கதி²தவாந் யூயம்’ கிமேதத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தவாக்யம்’ ந பு³த்⁴யத்⁴வே? தர்ஹி கத²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வாந் த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தாந போ⁴த்ஸ்யத்⁴வே?
14 He who is sowing sows the word;
பீ³ஜவப்தா வாக்யரூபாணி பீ³ஜாநி வபதி;
15 and these are they by the way where the word is sown: and whenever they may hear, Satan immediately comes, and he takes away the word that has been sown in their hearts.
தத்ர யே யே லோகா வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி, கிந்து ஸ்²ருதமாத்ராத் ஸை²தாந் ஸீ²க்⁴ரமாக³த்ய தேஷாம்’ மந: ஸூப்தாநி தாநி வாக்யரூபாணி பீ³ஜாந்யபநயதி தஏவ உப்தபீ³ஜமார்க³பார்ஸ்²வேஸ்வரூபா: |
16 And these are they, in like manner, who are sown on the rocky ground: who, whenever they may hear the word, immediately receive it with joy,
யே ஜநா வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ஸஹஸா பரமாநந்தே³ந க்³ரு’ஹ்லந்தி, கிந்து ஹ்ரு’தி³ ஸ்தை²ர்ய்யாபா⁴வாத் கிஞ்சித் காலமாத்ரம்’ திஷ்ட²ந்தி தத்பஸ்²சாத் தத்³வாக்யஹேதோ:
17 and have no root in themselves, but are temporary; afterward tribulation or persecution having come because of the word, immediately they are stumbled.
குத்ரசித் க்லேஸே² உபத்³ரவே வா ஸமுபஸ்தி²தே ததை³வ விக்⁴நம்’ ப்ராப்நுவந்தி தஏவ உப்தபீ³ஜபாஷாணபூ⁴மிஸ்வரூபா: |
18 And these are they who are sown toward the thorns: these are they who are hearing the word,
யே ஜநா: கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி கிந்து ஸாம்’ஸாரிகீ சிந்தா த⁴நப்⁴ராந்தி ர்விஷயலோப⁴ஸ்²ச ஏதே ஸர்வ்வே உபஸ்தா²ய தாம்’ கதா²ம்’ க்³ரஸந்தி தத: மா விப²லா ப⁴வதி (aiōn g165)
19 and the anxieties of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, and the desires concerning the other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
தஏவ உப்தபீ³ஜஸகண்டகபூ⁴மிஸ்வரூபா: |
20 And these are they who on the good ground have been sown: who hear the word, and receive, and bear fruit, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one a hundred.”
யே ஜநா வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா க்³ரு’ஹ்லந்தி தேஷாம்’ கஸ்ய வா த்ரிம்’ஸ²த்³கு³ணாநி கஸ்ய வா ஷஷ்டிகு³ணாநி கஸ்ய வா ஸ²தகு³ணாநி ப²லாநி ப⁴வந்தி தஏவ உப்தபீ³ஜோர்வ்வரபூ⁴மிஸ்வரூபா: |
21 And He said to them, “Does the lamp come that it may be put under the measure, or under the bed—not that it may be put on the lampstand?
ததா³ ஸோ(அ)பரமபி கதி²தவாந் கோபி ஜநோ தீ³பாதா⁴ரம்’ பரித்யஜ்ய த்³ரோணஸ்யாத⁴: க²ட்வாயா அதே⁴ வா ஸ்தா²பயிதும்’ தீ³பமாநயதி கிம்’?
22 For there is not anything hid that may not be revealed, nor was anything kept hid but that it may come to light.
அதோஹேதோ ர்யந்ந ப்ரகாஸ²யிஷ்யதே தாத்³ரு’க்³ லுக்காயிதம்’ கிமபி வஸ்து நாஸ்தி; யத்³ வ்யக்தம்’ ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ கு³ப்தம்’ கிமபி வஸ்து நாஸ்தி|
23 If any has ears to hear—let him hear.”
யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோதும்’ கர்ணௌ ஸ்த: ஸ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
24 And He said to them, “Take heed what you hear; in what measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear it will be added;
அபரமபி கதி²தவாந் யூயம்’ யத்³ யத்³ வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணுத² தத்ர ஸாவதா⁴நா ப⁴வத, யதோ யூயம்’ யேந பரிமாணேந பரிமாத² தேநைவ பரிமாணேந யுஷ்மத³ர்த²மபி பரிமாஸ்யதே; ஸ்²ரோதாரோ யூயம்’ யுஷ்மப்⁴யமதி⁴கம்’ தா³ஸ்யதே|
25 for whoever may have, there will be given to him, and whoever has not, also that which he has will be taken from him.”
யஸ்யாஸ்²ரயே வர்த்³த⁴தே தஸ்மை அபரமபி தா³ஸ்யதே, கிந்து யஸ்யாஸ்²ரயே ந வர்த்³த⁴தே தஸ்ய யத் கிஞ்சித³ஸ்தி தத³பி தஸ்மாந் நேஷ்யதே|
26 And He said, “Thus is the Kingdom of God: as if a man may cast the seed on the earth,
அநந்தரம்’ ஸ கதி²தவாந் ஏகோ லோக: க்ஷேத்ரே பீ³ஜாந்யுப்த்வா
27 and may sleep, and may rise night and day, and the seed springs up and grows, he has not known how;
ஜாக³ரணநித்³ராப்⁴யாம்’ தி³வாநிஸ²ம்’ க³மயதி, பரந்து தத்³வீஜம்’ தஸ்யாஜ்ஞாதரூபேணாங்குரயதி வர்த்³த⁴தே ச;
28 for of itself the earth bears fruit, first a blade, afterward an ear, afterward full grain in the ear;
யதோஹேதோ: ப்ரத²மத: பத்ராணி தத: பரம்’ கணிஸா²நி தத்பஸ்²சாத் கணிஸ²பூர்ணாநி ஸ²ஸ்யாநி பூ⁴மி: ஸ்வயமுத்பாத³யதி;
29 and whenever the fruit may yield itself, immediately he sends forth the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
கிந்து ப²லேஷு பக்கேஷு ஸ²ஸ்யச்சே²த³நகாலம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா ஸ தத்க்ஷணம்’ ஸ²ஸ்யாநி சி²நத்தி, அநேந துல்யமீஸ்²வரராஜ்யம்’|
30 And He said, “To what may we liken the Kingdom of God, or in what allegory may we compare it?
புந: ஸோ(அ)கத²யத்³ ஈஸ்²வரராஜ்யம்’ கேந ஸமம்’? கேந வஸ்துநா ஸஹ வா தது³பமாஸ்யாமி?
31 As a grain of mustard, which, whenever it may be sown on the earth, is less than any of the seeds that are on the earth;
தத் ஸர்ஷபைகேந துல்யம்’ யதோ ம்ரு’தி³ வபநகாலே ஸர்ஷபபீ³ஜம்’ ஸர்வ்வப்ரு’தி²வீஸ்த²பீ³ஜாத் க்ஷுத்³ரம்’
32 and whenever it may be sown, it comes up, and becomes greater than any of the herbs, and makes great branches, so that under its shade the birds of the sky are able to rest.”
கிந்து வபநாத் பரம் அங்குரயித்வா ஸர்வ்வஸா²காத்³ ப்³ரு’ஹத்³ ப⁴வதி, தஸ்ய ப்³ரு’ஹத்ய: ஸா²கா²ஸ்²ச ஜாயந்தே ததஸ்தச்சா²யாம்’ பக்ஷிண ஆஸ்²ரயந்தே|
33 And with many such allegories He was speaking to them the word, as they were able to hear,
இத்த²ம்’ தேஷாம்’ போ³தா⁴நுரூபம்’ ஸோ(அ)நேகத்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தைஸ்தாநுபதி³ஷ்டவாந்,
34 and without an allegory He was not speaking to them, and by themselves, to His disciples He was expounding all.
த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தம்’ விநா காமபி கதா²ம்’ தேப்⁴யோ ந கதி²தவாந் பஸ்²சாந் நிர்ஜநே ஸ ஸி²ஷ்யாந் ஸர்வ்வத்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தார்த²ம்’ போ³தி⁴தவாந்|
35 And He says to them on that day, evening having come, “We may pass over to the other side”;
தத்³தி³நஸ்ய ஸந்த்⁴யாயாம்’ ஸ தேப்⁴யோ(அ)கத²யத்³ ஆக³ச்ச²த வயம்’ பாரம்’ யாம|
36 and having let away the multitude, they take Him up as He was in the boat, and other little boats were also with Him.
ததா³ தே லோகாந் விஸ்ரு’ஜ்ய தமவிலம்ப³ம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா நௌகயா ப்ரதஸ்தி²ரே; அபரா அபி நாவஸ்தயா ஸஹ ஸ்தி²தா: |
37 And there comes a great storm of wind, and the waves were beating on the boat, so that it is now being filled,
தத: பரம்’ மஹாஜ²ஞ்ப்⁴ஸ²க³மாத் நௌ ர்தோ³லாயமாநா தரங்கே³ண ஜலை: பூர்ணாப⁴வச்ச|
38 and He Himself was on the stern, sleeping on the pillow, and they wake Him up, and say to Him, “Teacher, are You not caring that we perish?”
ததா³ ஸ நௌகாசஸ்²சாத்³பா⁴கே³ உபதா⁴நே ஸி²ரோ நிதா⁴ய நித்³ரித ஆஸீத் ததஸ்தே தம்’ ஜாக³ரயித்வா ஜக³து³: , ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴, அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ராணா யாந்தி கிமத்ர ப⁴வதஸ்²சிந்தா நாஸ்தி?
39 And having awoken, He rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be stilled”; and the wind stilled, and there was a great calm;
ததா³ ஸ உத்தா²ய வாயும்’ தர்ஜிதவாந் ஸமுத்³ரஞ்சோக்தவாந் ஸா²ந்த: ஸுஸ்தி²ரஸ்²ச ப⁴வ; ததோ வாயௌ நிவ்ரு’த்தே(அ)ப்³தி⁴ர்நிஸ்தரங்கோ³பூ⁴த்|
40 and He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How have you no faith?”
ததா³ ஸ தாநுவாச யூயம்’ குத ஏதாத்³ரு’க்ஸ²ங்காகுலா ப⁴வத? கிம்’ வோ விஸ்²வாஸோ நாஸ்தி?
41 And they feared a great fear and said to one another, “Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”
தஸ்மாத்தே(அ)தீவபீ⁴தா: பரஸ்பரம்’ வக்துமாரேபி⁴ரே, அஹோ வாயு: ஸிந்து⁴ஸ்²சாஸ்ய நிதே³ஸ²க்³ராஹிணௌ கீத்³ரு’க³யம்’ மநுஜ: |
