< Mark 16 >
1 And the Sabbath having past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome, bought spices, that having come, they may anoint Him,
atha vishrAmavAre gate magdalInI mariyam yAkUbamAtA mariyam shAlomI chemAstaM marddayituM sugandhidravyANi krItvA
2 and early in the morning of the first [day] of the weeks, they come to the tomb, at the rising of the sun,
saptAhaprathamadine. atipratyUShe sUryyodayakAle shmashAnamupagatAH|
3 and they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone out of the door of the tomb for us?”
kintu shmashAnadvArapAShANo. atibR^ihan taM ko. apasArayiShyatIti tAH parasparaM gadanti!
4 And having looked, they see that the stone has been rolled away—for it was very great,
etarhi nirIkShya pAShANo dvAro. apasArita iti dadR^ishuH|
5 and having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right hand, clothed in a long white robe, and they were amazed.
pashchAttAH shmashAnaM pravishya shuklavarNadIrghaparichChadAvR^itamekaM yuvAnaM shmashAnadakShiNapArshva upaviShTaM dR^iShTvA chamachchakruH|
6 And he says to them, “Do not be amazed, you seek Jesus the Nazarene, the crucified [One]: He rose—He is not here; behold the place where they laid Him!
so. avadat, mAbhaiShTa yUyaM krushe hataM nAsaratIyayIshuM gaveShayatha sotra nAsti shmashAnAdudasthAt; tai ryatra sa sthApitaH sthAnaM tadidaM pashyata|
7 And go, say to His disciples and Peter that He goes before you to Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
kintu tena yathoktaM tathA yuShmAkamagre gAlIlaM yAsyate tatra sa yuShmAn sAkShAt kariShyate yUyaM gatvA tasya shiShyebhyaH pitarAya cha vArttAmimAM kathayata|
8 And having come forth quickly, they fled from the tomb, and trembling and amazement had seized them, and they said to no one anything, for they were afraid. [[
tAH kampitA vistitAshcha tUrNaM shmashAnAd bahirgatvA palAyanta bhayAt kamapi kimapi nAvadaMshcha|

10 she having gone, told those who had been with Him, mourning and weeping;
tataH sA gatvA shokarodanakR^idbhyo. anugatalokebhyastAM vArttAM kathayAmAsa|
11 and they, having heard that He is alive, and was seen by her, did not believe.
kintu yIshuH punarjIvan tasyai darshanaM dattavAniti shrutvA te na pratyayan|
12 And after these things, to two of them, as they are going into a field, walking, He appeared in another form,
pashchAt teShAM dvAyo rgrAmayAnakAle yIshuranyaveshaM dhR^itvA tAbhyAM darshana dadau!
13 and they having gone, told [it] to the rest; not even them did they believe.
tAvapi gatvAnyashiShyebhyastAM kathAM kathayA nchakratuH kintu tayoH kathAmapi te na pratyayan|
14 Afterward, as they are reclining, He appeared to the Eleven, and reproached their unbelief and stiffness of heart, because they did not believe those having seen Him being raised;
sheShata ekAdashashiShyeShu bhojanopaviShTeShu yIshustebhyo darshanaM dadau tathotthAnAt paraM taddarshanaprAptalokAnAM kathAyAmavishvAsakaraNAt teShAmavishvAsamanaHkAThinyAbhyAM hetubhyAM sa tAMstarjitavAn|
15 and He said to them, “Having gone into all the world, proclaim the good news to all the creation;
atha tAnAchakhyau yUyaM sarvvajagad gatvA sarvvajanAn prati susaMvAdaM prachArayata|
16 he who has believed and has been immersed will be saved; and he who has not believed will be condemned.
tatra yaH kashchid vishvasya majjito bhavet sa paritrAsyate kintu yo na vishvasiShyati sa daNDayiShyate|
17 And signs will accompany those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My Name; they will speak with new tongues;
ki ncha ye pratyeShyanti tairIdR^ig AshcharyyaM karmma prakAshayiShyate te mannAmnA bhUtAn tyAjayiShyanti bhAShA anyAshcha vadiShyanti|
18 they will take up serpents; and if they may drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the ailing, and they will be well.”
aparaM taiH sarpeShu dhR^iteShu prANanAshakavastuni pIte cha teShAM kApi kShati rna bhaviShyati; rogiNAM gAtreShu karArpite te. arogA bhaviShyanti cha|
19 The LORD, then, indeed, after speaking to them, was received up to Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God;
atha prabhustAnityAdishya svargaM nItaH san parameshvarasya dakShiNa upavivesha|
20 and they, having gone forth, preached everywhere, the LORD working with [them], and confirming the word, through the signs following. Amen.]]
tataste prasthAya sarvvatra susaMvAdIyakathAM prachArayitumArebhire prabhustu teShAM sahAyaH san prakAshitAshcharyyakriyAbhistAM kathAM pramANavatIM chakAra| iti|
