< Mark 15 >

1 And immediately, in the morning, the chief priests having made a consultation with the elders, and scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin, having bound Jesus, led [Him] away, and delivered [Him] to Pilate;

2 and Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And He answering said to him, “You say [it].”

Pilat'n chong a rekela, a kôm, “Judangei rêngpa ni ni mo?” a tia. Jisua'n, “Nangman ke mi ni ti duo” tiin a thuona.

3 And the chief priests were accusing Him of many things, [but He answered nothing.]

Ochaisingei han abi tamtakin Jisua an nônna,

4 And Pilate again questioned Him, saying, “You do not answer anything? Behold, how many things they testify against You!”

masikin Pilat'n Jisua kôm chong a rekel nôka, “Nangman nu thuonloi rang mo? nang an nônnangei nâm hih rangâi roh!” a tia.

5 And Jesus no longer answered anything, so that Pilate wondered.

Avêlin Jisua'n chongbâi khat luo ti rang nuom maka, male Pilat'n a kamâm sabak zoia.

6 And at every celebration he was releasing to them one prisoner, whomsoever they were asking for;

Pilat'n chu Kalkân Kût zora zeta mi intâng ina aom inkhat mingeiin an ngên tak ha a mojôk pe ngei ngâi a baisi ani.

7 and there was [one] named Barabbas, bound with those making insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

Ma zora han mi inkhat a riming Barabbas hah, mi ânhelngei pâla mi, le loko injêlna kâra mi that sika intâng ina a oma.

8 And the multitude having cried out, began to ask for themselves as he was always doing to them,

Lokongei an intûpa male anni ranga a lei tho pe ngei ngâi anghan tho rangin an ngên lâihan,

9 and Pilate answered them, saying, “Will you [that] I will release to you the King of the Jews?”

Pilat'n an kôm, “Judangei rêngpa hih nangni mojôk pe inlang nin jôt mo?” tiin a rekel ngeia.

10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him up because of envy;

11 and the chief priests moved the multitude that he might rather release Barabbas to them.

12 And Pilate answering, again said to them, “What, then, will you [that] I will do to Him whom you call King of the Jews?”

13 And they again cried out, “Crucify Him!”

Anni han, “Khrosa jêmdel roh!” tiin an iniek nôka.

14 And Pilate said to them, “Why—what evil did He do?” And they cried out the more vehemently, “Crucify Him!”

15 And Pilate, resolving to do that which [was] satisfactory to the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and delivered up Jesus—having scourged [Him]—that He might be crucified.

16 And the soldiers led Him away into the hall, which is [the] Praetorium, and call together the whole band,

17 and clothe Him with purple, and having plaited a garland of thorns, they put [it] on Him,

18 and began to greet Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

19 And they were striking Him on the head with a reed, and were spitting on Him, and having bent the knee, were prostrating to Him,

20 and when they [had] mocked Him, they took the purple from off Him, and clothed Him in His own garments, and they led Him forth, that they may crucify Him.

21 And they impress a certain one passing by—Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from the field, the father of Alexander and Rufus—that he may carry His cross,

Hanchu lampuia mi inkhat ram renga khopuilien hongpan a riming Simon an intôngpuia, male râlmingeiin Jisua khros ruput rangin an dânderita. (Simon hah Cyrene Kurini mi, Alexander le Rufus ngei an pa ani.)

22 and they bring Him to the place [called] Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, “Place of [the] Skull”;

Jisua hah Golgotha an ti muna han an tuonga maha aomtie chu “Luru Mun” tina ani.

23 and they were giving Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, and He did not receive [it].

Ha muna han a pang ânhipna rangin uain murra loi leh ânpol pêk rangin an pûta, aninâkachu Jisua'n nêk jôt mâka.

24 And having crucified Him, they were dividing His garments, casting a lot on them, what each may take;

Hanchu khrosa an jêmdela, male a puonsilngei hah an insema, kho ahâr ha mo an chang rang chit rietna rangin taruo an sânna.

25 and it was the third hour, and they crucified Him;

Jisua an jêmdel zora hah jîng dâr kuo inringa ani.

26 and the inscription of His accusation was written above: “THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

Ama doia an nônna minrietna chong hah “Judangei Rêngpa” tiin a lu chunga an târra.

27 And they crucify two robbers with Him, one on the right hand and one on His left,

Jisua leh munkhatin mi inru inik a changtieng inkhat, male a voitieng inkhat an jêmdel sa.

28 [[and the Writing was fulfilled that is saying, “And He was numbered with lawless ones.”]]

Ma angdên han, Pathien lekhabu'n, “Ama khom mi puoloingei lâia telsân aom zoi” ati hah ahong tung zoi ani.

29 And those passing by were slandering Him, shaking their heads, and saying, “Ha! The [One] throwing down the temple, and building [it] in three days!

Hataka mingei ânloi murdi'n an lu an thuka Jisua an êroa, “Ohoi! Biekin set na ta, sûnthumin ni minding nôk rang na!

30 Save Yourself, and come down from the cross!”

Atûn khros renga juong chum inla, nethenin insan mojôk roh ba!” an tia.

31 And in like manner also the chief priests, mocking with one another, with the scribes, said, “He saved others; He is not able to save Himself.

Ha angdênin ochaisingei le Balam minchupungei khomin Jisua an phengsana, “Midangngei chu a mojôk thei ngâia, hannirese ama le ama chu insan mojôk thei mak!

32 The Christ! The King of Israel—let Him come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe”; and those crucified with Him were reproaching Him.

Tho atûn chu Messiah, Israelngei rêngpa hih khros lêr renga a juong chum lei en rei u, male ama ei iem rang ani!” an tia. Ama leh an jêmdel sa mi inik ngei khomin Jisua an êro sa zoi.

33 And the sixth hour having come, darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour,

Sûnchima konta inthum sûng chu rammuol ajîng khapa.

34 and at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a great voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabachthani?” Which is, being interpreted, “My God, My God, why did You forsake Me?”

Chonûk dâr inthum inring han chu Jisua rôl inringtakin ân-ieka, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabakthani?” a tia, maha, “Ka Pathien, ka Pathien, Ithomo mi ni mâksana?” tina ani.

35 And certain of those standing by, having heard, said, “Behold, He calls Elijah”;

Ha muna omngei senkhatin a he an rieta, male “Rangâi ta u, Elijah a koi ke!” an tia.

36 and one having run, and having filled a sponge with vinegar, having also put [it] on a reed, was giving Him to drink, saying, “Let alone, let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”

37 And Jesus having uttered a loud cry, yielded the spirit,

39 and the centurion who was standing opposite Him, having seen that, having so cried out, He yielded the spirit, said, “Truly this Man was [the] Son of God.”

40 And there were also women beholding far off, among whom was also Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of James the less, and of Joses, and Salome,

41 who also, when He was in Galilee, were following Him and were ministering to Him, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.

42 And now evening having come, seeing it was the Preparation, that is, before Sabbath,

43 Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counselor, who also himself was waiting for the Kingdom of God, came, boldly entered in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.

44 And Pilate wondered if He were already dead, and having called near the centurion, questioned him if He were long dead,

45 and having known [it] from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

46 And he, having brought fine linen, and having taken Him down, wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a tomb that had been hewn out of a rock, and he rolled a stone to the door of the tomb,

47 and Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of Joses, were beholding where He is laid.
