Mark 14
1 And the Passover and the Unleavened [Bread] were after two days, and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how, by guile, having taken hold of Him, they might kill Him;
Es war aber das Passah, und das Fest der Ungesäuerten nach zwei Tagen, und die hohen Priester und Schriftgelehrten suchten, wie sie ihn mit List griffen, und töteten;
2 and they said, “Not in the celebration, lest there will be a tumult of the people.”
Denn sie sprachen: Ja nicht am Fest, daß nicht ein Aufruhr im Volke entstehe.
3 And He, being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, at His reclining, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, of spikenard, very precious, and having broken the alabaster box, poured [it] on His head;
Und da er in Bethanien war, im Hause Simons, des Aussätzigen, und zu Tische lag, kam ein Weib und hatte ein Alabastergefäß mit einer Salbe echter köstlicher Narde; und sie zerbrach das Alabastergefäß, und goß es über sein Haupt herab.
4 and there were certain much displeased within themselves, and saying, “For what has this waste of the ointment been made?
Es waren aber etliche, die wurden unwillig bei sich selbst, und sprachen: Wozu ist diese Verschwendung der Salbe geschehen?
5 For this could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and given to the poor”; and they were murmuring at her.
Denn diese Salbe hätte können verkauft werden für mehr denn dreihundert Denar, und den Armen gegeben; und sie schalten sie.
6 And Jesus said, “Leave her alone; why are you giving her trouble? She worked a good work on Me;
Jesus aber sprach: Lasset sie! Warum machet ihr ihr Mühe? Sie hat ein gutes Werk an mir getan.
7 for you always have the poor with you, and whenever you may will you are able to do them good, but you do not always have Me;
Denn Arme habt ihr allezeit bei euch, und wann ihr wollt, könnt ihr ihnen Gutes tun; mich aber habt ihr nicht allezeit.
8 she did what she could, she anticipated to anoint My body for the embalming.
Sie hat getan, was sie konnte; sie ist zuvorgekommen, meinen Leib zu salben zum Begräbnis.
9 Truly I say to you, wherever this good news may be proclaimed in the whole world, what this woman did will also be spoken of—for a memorial of her.”
Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wo immer diese frohe Botschaft verkündigt wird in der ganzen Welt, da wird man auch sagen, was sie getan hat, zu ihrem Gedächtnis.
10 And Judas the Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went away to the chief priests that he might deliver Him up to them,
Und Judas, der Ischariote, einer von den Zwölfen, ging hin zu den hohen Priester, daß er ihn ihnen verriete.
11 and having heard, they were glad, and promised to give him money, and he was seeking how, conveniently, he might deliver Him up.
Da sie das hörten, freuten sie sich, und verhießen ihm Geld zu geben; und er suchte, wie er ihn bei guter Gelegenheit verriete.
12 And the first day of the Unleavened [Bread], when they were killing the Passover, His disciples say to Him, “Where will You, [that] having gone, we may prepare, that You may eat the Passover?”
Und am ersten Tage der Ungesäuerten, da man das Passah schlachtete, sagen ihm seine Jünger: Wo willst du, daß wir hingehen und bereiten, daß du das Passah essest?
13 And He sends forth two of His disciples and says to them, “Go away into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you, follow him;
Und er sandte zwei seiner Jünger, und sagt ihnen: Gehet hin in die Stadt, und es wird euch ein Mensch begegnen, der einen Wasserkrug trägt; folgt ihm!
14 and wherever he may go in, say to the master of the house: The Teacher says, Where is the guest-chamber, where the Passover, with My disciples, I may eat?
Und wo er hineingeht, da saget dem Hausherrn: Der Lehrer sagt, wo ist meine Stätte, wo ich das Passah mit meinen Jüngern esse?
15 And he will show you a large upper room, furnished, prepared—make ready for us there.”
Und er wird euch einen großen, mit Polstern belegten Saal zeigen; daselbst richtet für uns zu.
16 And His disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as He said to them, and they made ready the Passover.
Und seine Jünger gingen aus, und kamen in die Stadt, und fanden, wie er ihnen gesagt hatte, und sie berieten das Passah.
17 And evening having come, He comes with the Twelve,
Und da es Abend geworden war, kommt er mit den Zwölfen.
18 and as they are reclining, and eating, Jesus said, “Truly I say to you that one of you who is eating with Me will deliver Me up.”
Und als sie zu Tische lagen und aßen, sprach Jesus: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Einer unter euch, der mit mir ißt, wird mich verraten.
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, “Is it I?” And another, “Is it I?”
Sie aber fingen an zu trauern, und zu ihm zu sagen, einer nach dem andern: Doch nicht ich? und ein anderer: Doch nicht ich?
20 And He answering said to them, “One of the Twelve who is dipping with Me in the dish;
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Einer von den Zwölfen, der mit mir in die Schüssel taucht.
21 the Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been written concerning Him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up; it were good to him if that man had not been born.”
Der Menschensohn geht zwar dahin, wie von ihm geschrieben steht; wehe aber jenem Menschen, durch welchen der Menschensohn verraten wird; es wäre ihm gut, wenn jener Mensch nicht geboren wäre.
22 And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, broke, and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
Und als sie aßen, nahm Jesus das Brot, sprach den Segen, brach und gab es ihnen, und sagte: Nehmet, dies ist mein Leib.
23 And having taken the cup, having given thanks, He gave to them, and they drank of it—all;
Und er nahm den Kelch, sprach das Dankgebet, und gab ihnen, und sie tranken alle daraus.
24 and He said to them, “This is My blood of the New Covenant, which is being poured out for many;
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Dies ist mein Blut, das des neuen Bundes, das für viele vergossen wird.
25 truly I say to you that I may drink no more of the produce of the vine until that day when I may drink it new in the Kingdom of God.”
Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß ich hinfort nicht mehr trinken werde vom Gewächs des Weinstockes, bis zu jenem Tage, wann ich es neu trinken werde in der Gottesherrschaft.
26 And having sung a hymn, they went forth to the Mount of Olives,
Und da sie den Lobgesang angestimmt hatten, gingen sie hinaus an den Ölberg.
27 and Jesus says to them, “All of you will be stumbled at Me this night, because it has been written: I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered abroad;
Und Jesus sagt ihnen: Alle werdet ihr irre werden, denn es steht geschrieben: "Ich werde den Hirten schlagen, und die Schafe werden sich zerstreuen."
28 but after My having risen I will go before you to Galilee.”
Aber nachdem ich auferweckt bin, werde ich vor euch hingehen nach Galiläa.
29 And Peter said to Him, “And if all will be stumbled, yet not I.”
Petrus aber sprach zu ihm: Und wenn alle an dir irre würden, so doch ich nicht.
30 And Jesus said to him, “Truly I say to you that today, this night, before a rooster will crow twice, three times you will deny Me.”
Und Jesus sagt ihm: Wahrlich, ich sage dir, daß du heute, in dieser Nacht, ehe der Hahn zweimal gekräht hat, mich dreimal verleugnen wirst.
31 And he spoke the more vehemently, “If it may be necessary for me to die with You—I will in no way deny You”; and in like manner also said they all.
Er aber sagte noch viel mehr: Wenn ich mit dir sterben müßte, so werde ich dich doch nicht verleugnen. Gleicherweise aber sagten auch alle.
32 And they come to a spot, the name of which [is] Gethsemane, and He says to His disciples, “Sit here until I may pray”;
Und sie kommen in ein Landgut, mit Namen Gethsemane, und er sagt seinen Jüngern: Setzt euch hieher, bis ich gebetet habe.
33 and He takes Peter, and James, and John with Him, and began to be amazed, and to be very heavy,
Und er nimmt Petrus und Jakobus und Johannes mit sich, und fängt an sich zu entsetzen, und zu zagen.
34 and He says to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful—to death; remain here, and watch.”
Und sagt ihnen: Überaus traurig ist meine Seele, bis zum Tod; bleibet hier, und wachet!
35 And having gone forward a little, He fell on the earth, and was praying that, if it be possible, the hour may pass from Him,
Und er ging ein wenig weiter, fiel auf die Erde, und betete, damit, wenn es möglich sei, die Stunde von ihm vorübergehe;
36 and He said, “Abba, Father; all things are possible to You; make this cup pass from Me; but not what I will, but what You [will].”
Und sprach: Abba, Vater! Alles ist dir möglich; nimm diesen Kelch von mir! Doch nicht, was ich will, sondern was du willst.
37 And He comes, and finds them sleeping, and says to Peter, “Simon, you sleep! You were not able to watch one hour!
Und er kommt, und findet sie schlafend; und sagt zu Petrus: Simon, schläfst du? Vermochtest du nicht eine Stunde zu wachen?
38 Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.”
Wachet und betet, damit ihr nicht in Versuchung hineinkommt; der Geist ist zwar willig, aber das Fleisch schwach.
39 And again having gone away, He prayed, saying the same word;
Und er ging wieder hin, und betete, und sprach dasselbe Wort.
40 and having returned, He found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy, and they had not known what they might answer Him.
Und als er zurückkehrte, fand er sie wiederum schlafend, denn ihre Augen waren zu beschwert, und sie wußten nicht, was sie ihm antworteten.
41 And He comes the third time and says to them, “Sleep on from now on, and rest—it is over; the hour came; behold, the Son of Man is delivered up into the hands of the sinful;
Und er kommt zum drittenmal, und sagt ihnen: Schlafet ihr die übrige Zeit, und ruhet? Es ist aus. Die Stunde ist gekommen. Siehe, der Menschensohn wird überliefert in die Hände der Sünder.
42 rise, we may go, behold, he who is delivering Me up has come near.”
Stehet auf! Laßt uns gehen! Siehe, der mich verrät, ist nahe.
43 And immediately—while He is yet speaking—Judas comes near, one of the Twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and sticks, from the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;
Und alsbald, da er noch redete, kommt Judas, der einer von den Zwölfen war, heran, und mit ihm ein großer Volkshaufe, mit Schwertern und Knütteln, von den hohen Priestern und Schriftgelehrten und Ältesten.
44 and he who is delivering Him up had given a token to them, saying, “Whomsoever I will kiss, it is He, lay hold on Him, and lead Him away safely,”
Es hatte aber, der ihn verriet, ihnen ein Zeichen gegeben, und gesagt: Welchen ich küssen werde, der ist´s; greift ihn, und führt ihn wohlverwahrt fort.
45 and having come, immediately, having gone near Him, he says, “Rabbi, Rabbi,” and kissed Him.
Und da er kam, trat er alsbald zu ihm hin, und spricht: Rabbi, Rabbi! und küßte ihn (auf die Hand).
46 And they laid on Him their hands, and kept hold on Him;
Sie aber legten ihre Hände an ihn und griffen ihn.
47 and a certain one of those standing by, having drawn the sword, struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his ear.
Einer aber von denen, die dabeistunden, zog das Schwert, schlug den Knecht des Hohenpriesters, und hieb ihm das Ohr ab.
48 And Jesus answering said to them, “As against a robber you came out, with swords and sticks, to take Me!
Und Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr ausgezogen, mit Schwertern und Knütteln, mich zu fangen.
49 Daily I was with you teaching in the temple, and you did not lay hold on Me—but that the Writings may be fulfilled.”
Täglich war ich bei euch im Tempel, und lehrte, aber ihr habt mich nicht gegriffen, sondern damit die Schrift erfüllt würde.
50 And having left Him they all fled;
Und es verließen ihn alle und flohen.
51 and a certain young man was following Him, having cast a linen cloth on [his] naked [body], and the young men lay hold on him,
Und ein gewisser Jüngling folgte ihm nach, der hatte ein Leintuch umgeworfen über die nackte Haut, und die Jünglinge griffen ihn.
52 and he, having left the linen cloth, fled from them naked.
Er aber ließ das Leinentuch dahinten, und floh nackt von ihnen.
53 And they led Jesus away to the chief priest, and all the chief priests, and the elders, and the scribes come together;
Und sie führten Jesus zu dem Hohenpriester; und es kamen bei ihm zusammen alle hohen Priester und Schriftgelehrten.
54 and Peter followed Him far off, to the inside of the hall of the chief priest, and he was sitting with the officers, and warming himself near the fire.
Und Petrus folgte ihm nach von ferne, bis in den Palast des Hohenpriesters hinein; und er saß da mit den Dienern, und wärmte sich am Feuer.
55 And the chief priests and all the Sanhedrin were seeking testimony against Jesus—to put Him to death, and they were not finding,
Die hohen Priester aber, und der ganze hohe Rat suchten Zeugnis wider Jesus, daß sie ihn zum Tode brächten, und fanden´s nicht.
56 for many were bearing false testimony against Him, and their testimonies were not alike.
Denn viele legten falsches Zeugnis wider ihn ab, aber ihre Zeugnisse waren nicht gleichlautend.
57 And certain having risen up, were bearing false testimony against Him, saying,
Und etliche stunden auf, und zeugten falsch wider ihn, und sprachen:
58 “We heard Him saying, I will throw down this temple made with hands, and by three days, I will build another made without hands”;
Wir haben gehört, daß er sagte: Ich will diesen Tempel, der mit Händen gemacht ist, zerstören, und in drei Tagen einen andern bauen, der nicht mit Händen gemacht ist.
59 and neither so was their testimony alike.
Und auch so war ihr Zeugnis nicht gleich.
60 And the chief priest, having risen up in the midst, questioned Jesus, saying, “You do not answer anything! Why do these testify against You?”
Und der Hohepriester trat auf in die Mitte, frug Jesus, und sprach: Antwortest du gar nichts? Was ist es, was diese wider dich zeugen?
61 And He was keeping silent and did not answer anything. Again the chief priest was questioning Him and says to Him, “Are You the Christ—the Son of the Blessed?”
Er aber schwieg, und antwortete nichts. Da frug ihn der Hohepriester abermals, und sagt ihm: Bist du der Messias, der Sohn des Hochgelobten?
62 And Jesus said, “I AM; and you will see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of Heaven.”
Jesus aber sprach: Ich bin´s; und ihr werdet sehen den Menschensohn, sitzend zur Rechten der Kraft, kommend mit den Wolken des Himmels.
63 And the chief priest, having torn his garments, says, “What need have we yet of witnesses?
Der Hohepriester aber zerriß seine Kleider, und sagt: Was haben wir weiter Zeugnis nötig?
64 You heard the slander, what appears to you?” And they all condemned Him to be worthy of death,
Ihr habt gehört die Lästerung; was dünkt euch? Sie aber verurteilten ihn alle, er sei des Todes schuldig.
65 and certain began to spit on Him, and to cover His face, and to punch Him, and to say to Him, “Prophesy”; and the officers were striking Him with their palms.
Da fingen etliche an ihn zu verspeien, und sein Angesicht zu verhüllen, und ihn mit Fäusten zu schlagen, und zu ihm zu sagen: Weissage! Und die Diener nahmen ihn, und gaben ihm Backenstreiche.
66 And Peter being in the hall beneath, there comes one of the maids of the chief priest,
Und Petrus war unten im Palast; da kam eine von den Mägden des Hohenpriesters,
67 and having seen Peter warming himself, having looked on him, she said, “And you were with Jesus of Nazareth!”
Und als diese Petrus sah, wie er sich wärmte, betrachtete sie ihn, und sagt: Und du warst auch mit dem Nazarener Jesus.
68 And he denied, saying, “I have not known [Him], neither do I understand what you say”; and he went forth outside to the porch, and a rooster crowed.
Er aber leugnete, und sprach: Ich weiß nicht, und verstehe auch nicht, was du sagst. Und er ging hinaus in die Vorhalle, und der Hahn krähte.
69 And the maid having seen him again, began to say to those standing near, “This is of them”;
Und die Magd sah ihn abermal, und fing an zu sagen zu denen, die dabeistunden: Dieser ist einer von ihnen.
70 and he was again denying. And after a while again, those standing near said to Peter, “Truly you are of them, for you also are a Galilean, and your speech is alike”;
Er aber leugnete wiederum. Und über ein Kleines sprachen die Dastehenden abermals zu Petrus: Wahrhaftig, du bist einer von ihnen, denn du bist auch ein Galiläer und deine Sprache ist gleich.
71 and he began to curse, and to swear, “I have not known this Man of whom you speak”;
Und er fing an sich zu verfluchen und zu schwören: Ich kenne den Menschen nicht, von dem ihr sagt.
72 and a second time a rooster crowed, and Peter remembered the saying that Jesus said to him, “Before a rooster crows twice, you may deny Me three times”; and having thought thereon—he was weeping.
Und alsbald krähte der Hahn zum zweitenmal; und Petrus erinnerte sich der Rede, wie ihm Jesus gesagt hatte: Ehe der Hahn zweimal kräht, wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen. Und darauf weinte er.
