Mark 11
1 And when they come near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage, and Bethany, to the Mount of Olives, He sends forth two of His disciples,
Cuando se acercaron a Jerusalén, a Betfagé y Betania, en el Monte de los Olivos, envió a dos de sus discípulos
2 and says to them, “Go away into the village that is in front of you, and immediately, entering into it, you will find a colt tied, on which no one of men has sat, having loosed it, bring [it]:
y les dijo: “Id a la aldea que está enfrente de vosotros. En cuanto entréis en ella, encontraréis un pollino atado, en el que nadie se ha sentado. Desátenlo y tráiganlo.
3 and if anyone may say to you, Why do you do this? Say that the LORD has need of it, and immediately He will send it here.”
Si alguien os pregunta: “¿Por qué hacéis esto?”, decidle: “El Señor lo necesita”, e inmediatamente lo enviará de vuelta aquí.”
4 And they went away, and found the colt tied at the door outside, by the two ways, and they loose it,
Se fueron y encontraron un pollino atado a la puerta, en la calle, y lo desataron.
5 and certain of those standing there said to them, “What do you—loosing the colt?”
Algunos de los que estaban allí les preguntaron: “¿Qué hacéis desatando el pollino?”.
6 And they said to them as Jesus commanded, and they permitted them.
Ellos les dijeron lo mismo que Jesús, y los dejaron ir.
7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on it, and He sat on it,
Trajeron a Jesús el pollino y echaron sobre él sus vestidos, y Jesús se sentó en él.
8 and many spread their garments in the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees, and were strewing in the way.
Muchos extendían sus vestidos por el camino, y otros cortaban ramas de los árboles y las esparcían por el camino.
9 And those going before and those following were crying out, saying, “Hosanna! Blessed [is] He who is coming in the Name of the LORD;
Los que iban delante y los que les seguían gritaban: “¡Hosanna! ¡Bendito el que viene en nombre del Señor!
10 blessed is the coming kingdom, in the Name of the LORD, of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!”
¡Bendito el reino de nuestro padre David que viene en el nombre del Señor! Hosanna en las alturas”.
11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple, and having looked around on all things, it being now evening, He went forth to Bethany with the Twelve.
Jesús entró en el templo de Jerusalén. Después de haber observado todo, siendo ya de noche, salió a Betania con los doce.
12 And on the next day, they having come forth from Bethany, He hungered,
Al día siguiente, cuando salieron de Betania, tuvo hambre.
13 and having seen a fig tree far off having leaves, He came, if perhaps He will find anything in it, and having come to it, He found nothing except leaves, for it was not a time of figs,
Al ver una higuera lejana que tenía hojas, se acercó para ver si acaso podía encontrar algo en ella. Cuando llegó a ella, no encontró más que hojas, pues no era la época de los higos.
14 and Jesus answering said to it, “No longer from you—throughout the age—may any eat fruit”; and His disciples were hearing. (aiōn g165)
Jesús le dijo: “Que nadie vuelva a comer fruto de ti”, y sus discípulos lo oyeron. (aiōn g165)
15 And they come to Jerusalem, and Jesus having gone into the temple, began to cast forth those selling and buying in the temple, and He overthrew the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those selling the doves,
Llegaron a Jerusalén, y Jesús entró en el templo y comenzó a echar a los que vendían y a los que compraban en el templo, y derribó las mesas de los cambistas y los asientos de los que vendían palomas.
16 and He did not permit that any might carry a vessel through the temple,
No permitía que nadie llevara un recipiente por el templo.
17 and He was teaching, saying to them, “Has it not been written: My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations? And you made it a den of robbers!”
Les enseñaba diciendo “¿No está escrito que mi casa será llamada casa de oración para todas las naciones? Pero vosotros la habéis convertido en una cueva de ladrones”.
18 And the scribes and the chief priests heard, and they were seeking how they will destroy Him, for they were afraid of Him, because all the multitude was astonished at His teaching;
Los jefes de los sacerdotes y los escribas lo oyeron, y buscaban cómo destruirlo. Porque le temían, pues toda la multitud se asombraba de su enseñanza.
19 and when evening came, He was going forth outside the city.
Al caer la tarde, salió de la ciudad.
20 And in the morning, passing by, they saw the fig tree having been dried up from the roots,
Al pasar por la mañana, vieron la higuera seca de raíz.
21 and Peter having remembered says to Him, “Rabbi, behold, the fig tree that You cursed is dried up.”
Pedro, acordándose, le dijo: “¡Rabí, mira! La higuera que maldijiste se ha secado”.
22 And Jesus answering says to them, “Have faith from God;
Jesús les respondió: “Tened fe en Dios.
23 for truly I say to you that whoever may say to this mountain, Be taken up, and be cast into the sea, and may not doubt in his heart, but may believe that the things that he says come to pass, it will be to him whatever he may say.
Porque de cierto os digo que cualquiera que diga a este monte: “Tómalo y arrójalo al mar”, y no dude en su corazón, sino que crea que lo que dice sucede, tendrá lo que dice.
24 Because of this I say to you, all whatever—praying—you ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.
Por eso os digo que todo lo que pidáis y oréis, creed que lo habéis recibido, y lo tendréis.
25 And whenever you may stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, that your Father who is in the heavens may also forgive you your trespasses;
Siempre que estéis orando, perdonad, si tenéis algo contra alguien, para que vuestro Padre, que está en los cielos, os perdone también vuestras transgresiones.
26 [[and, if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your trespasses.”]]
Pero si no perdonáis, tampoco vuestro Padre que está en los cielos os perdonará vuestras transgresiones.”
27 And they come again to Jerusalem, and in the temple, as He is walking, there come to Him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
Llegaron de nuevo a Jerusalén y, mientras caminaba por el templo, se le acercaron los jefes de los sacerdotes, los escribas y los ancianos,
28 and they say to Him, “By what authority do You do these things? And who gave You this authority that You may do these things?”
y comenzaron a decirle: “¿Con qué autoridad haces estas cosas? ¿O quién te ha dado esta autoridad para hacer estas cosas?”
29 And Jesus answering said to them, “I will question you—I also—one word; and answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things;
Jesús les dijo: “Les voy a hacer una pregunta. Respóndanme, y les diré con qué autoridad hago estas cosas.
30 the immersion of John—was it from Heaven or from men? Answer Me.”
El bautismo de Juan, ¿es del cielo o de los hombres? Respondedme”.
31 And they were reasoning with themselves, saying, “If we may say, From Heaven, He will say, Why then did you not believe him?
Razonaban entre sí, diciendo: “Si decimos: “Del cielo”, dirá: “¿Por qué, pues, no le habéis creído?”
32 But if we may say, From men…” They were fearing the people, for all were holding that John was indeed a prophet;
Si decimos: “De los hombres”, temían a la gente, pues todos consideraban que Juan era realmente un profeta.
33 and answering they say to Jesus, “We have not known”; and Jesus answering says to them, “Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
Ellos respondieron a Jesús: “No lo sabemos”. Jesús les dijo: “Tampoco os diré con qué autoridad hago estas cosas”.
