Mark 10
1 And having risen from there, He comes to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again multitudes come together to Him, and as He had been accustomed, again He was teaching them.
İsa oradan ayrılıp Yahudiye'nin Şeria Irmağı'nın karşı yakasındaki topraklarına geçti. Çevresinde yine kalabalıklar toplanmıştı; her zamanki gibi onlara öğretiyordu.
2 And the Pharisees, having come near, questioned Him if it is lawful for a husband to put away a wife, tempting Him,
Yanına gelen bazı Ferisiler O'nu denemek amacıyla, “Bir erkeğin, karısını boşaması Kutsal Yasa'ya uygun mudur?” diye sordular.
3 and He answering said to them, “What did Moses command you?”
İsa karşılık olarak, “Musa size ne buyurdu?” dedi.
4 And they said, “Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to put away.”
Onlar, “Musa, erkeğin bir boşanma belgesi yazarak karısını boşamasına izin vermiştir” dediler.
5 And Jesus answering said to them, “For the stiffness of your heart he wrote you this command,
İsa onlara, “İnatçı olduğunuz için Musa bu buyruğu yazdı” dedi.
6 but from the beginning of the creation God made them a male and a female;
“Tanrı, yaratılışın başlangıcından ‘İnsanları erkek ve dişi olarak yarattı.’
7 on this account will a man leave his father and mother, and will cleave to his wife,
‘Bu nedenle adam annesini babasını bırakıp karısına bağlanacak, ikisi tek beden olacak.’ Şöyle ki, onlar artık iki değil, tek bedendir.
8 and they will be—the two—for one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh;
9 what God therefore joined together, do not let man separate.”
O halde Tanrı'nın birleştirdiğini insan ayırmasın.”
10 And in the house His disciples again questioned Him of the same thing,
Öğrencileri evde O'na yine bu konuyla ilgili bazı sorular sordular.
11 and He says to them, “Whoever may put away his wife, and may marry another, commits adultery against her;
İsa onlara, “Karısını boşayıp başkasıyla evlenen, karısına karşı zina etmiş olur” dedi.
12 and if a woman may put away her husband, and is married to another, she commits adultery.”
“Kocasını boşayıp başkasıyla evlenen kadın da zina etmiş olur.”
13 And they were bringing to Him children that He might touch them, and the disciples were rebuking those bringing them,
Bu arada bazıları küçük çocukları İsa'nın yanına getiriyor, onlara dokunmasını istiyorlardı. Ne var ki, öğrenciler onları azarladılar.
14 and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and He said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God;
İsa bunu görünce kızdı. Öğrencilerine, “Bırakın, çocuklar bana gelsin” dedi. “Onlara engel olmayın! Çünkü Tanrı'nın Egemenliği böylelerinindir.
15 truly I say to you, whoever may not receive the Kingdom of God as a child—he may not enter into it”;
Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim, Tanrı'nın Egemenliği'ni bir çocuk gibi kabul etmeyen, bu egemenliğe asla giremez.”
16 and having taken them in His arms, having put [His] hands on them, He was blessing them.
Çocukları kucağına aldı, ellerini üzerlerine koyup onları kutsadı.
17 And as He is going forth into the way, one having run and having kneeled to Him, was questioning Him, “Good Teacher, what may I do that I may inherit continuous life?” (aiōnios g166)
İsa yola çıkarken, biri koşarak yanına geldi. Önünde diz çöküp O'na, “İyi öğretmenim, sonsuz yaşama kavuşmak için ne yapmalıyım?” diye sordu. (aiōnios g166)
18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one [is] good except one—God;
İsa, “Bana neden iyi diyorsun?” dedi. “İyi olan yalnız biri var, O da Tanrı'dır.
19 you have known the commands: You may not commit adultery, You may not murder, You may not steal, You may not bear false witness, You may not defraud, Honor your father and mother.”
O'nun buyruklarını biliyorsun: ‘Adam öldürmeyeceksin, zina etmeyeceksin, çalmayacaksın, yalan yere tanıklık etmeyeceksin, kimsenin hakkını yemeyeceksin, annene babana saygı göstereceksin.’”
20 And he answering said to Him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”
Adam, “Öğretmenim, bunların hepsini gençliğimden beri yerine getiriyorum” dedi.
21 And Jesus having looked on him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: go away, whatever you have—sell, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me, having taken up the cross.”
Ona sevgiyle bakan İsa, “Bir eksiğin var” dedi. “Git neyin varsa sat, parasını yoksullara ver; böylece gökte hazinen olur. Sonra gel, beni izle.”
22 And he—gloomy at the word—went away sorrowing, for he was having many possessions.
Bu sözler üzerine adamın yüzü asıldı, üzüntü içinde oradan uzaklaştı. Çünkü çok malı vardı.
23 And Jesus having looked around, says to His disciples, “How hardly will they who have riches enter into the Kingdom of God!”
İsa çevresine göz gezdirdikten sonra öğrencilerine, “Varlıklı kişilerin Tanrı Egemenliği'ne girmesi ne güç olacak!” dedi.
24 And the disciples were astonished at His words, and Jesus again answering says to them, “Children, how hard it is to those trusting on riches to enter into the Kingdom of God!
Öğrenciler O'nun sözlerine şaştılar. Ama İsa onlara yine, “Çocuklar” dedi, “Tanrı'nın Egemenliği'ne girmek ne güçtür!
25 It is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of the needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
Devenin iğne deliğinden geçmesi, zenginin Tanrı Egemenliği'ne girmesinden daha kolaydır.”
26 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying to themselves, “And who is able to be saved?”
Öğrenciler büsbütün şaşırmışlardı. Birbirlerine, “Öyleyse kim kurtulabilir?” diyorlardı.
27 And Jesus, having looked on them, says, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
İsa onlara bakarak, “İnsanlar için bu imkânsız, ama Tanrı için değil. Tanrı için her şey mümkündür” dedi.
28 And Peter began to say to Him, “Behold, we left all, and we followed You.”
Petrus O'na, “Bak, biz her şeyi bırakıp senin ardından geldik” demeye başladı.
29 And Jesus answering said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for My sake, and for the good news’,
“Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim” dedi İsa, “Benim ve Müjde'nin uğruna evini, kardeşlerini, anne ya da babasını, çocuklarını ya da topraklarını bırakıp da şimdi,
31 and many first will be last, and the last first.”
Ne var ki, birincilerin birçoğu sonuncu, sonuncuların birçoğu da birinci olacak.”
32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them, and they were amazed, and following they were afraid. And having again taken the Twelve, He began to tell them the things about to happen to Him:
Yola çıkmış Yeruşalim'e gidiyorlardı. İsa önlerinde yürüyordu. Öğrencileri şaşkınlık içindeydi, ardından gelenler ise korkuyorlardı. İsa Onikiler'i yine bir yana çekip kendi başına gelecekleri anlatmaya başladı: “Şimdi Yeruşalim'e gidiyoruz” dedi. “İnsanoğlu, başkâhinlerin ve din bilginlerinin eline teslim edilecek. Onlar da O'nu ölüm cezasına çarptıracak ve öteki uluslara teslim edecekler.
33 “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will deliver Him to the nations,
34 and they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him, and the third day He will rise again.”
O'nunla alay edecek, üzerine tükürecek ve O'nu kamçılayıp öldürecekler. Ne var ki O, üç gün sonra dirilecek.”
35 And there come near to Him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, “Teacher, we wish that whatever we may ask for ourselves, You may do for us”;
Zebedi'nin oğulları Yakup ile Yuhanna İsa'ya yaklaşıp, “Öğretmenimiz, bir dileğimiz var, bunu yapmanı istiyoruz” dediler.
36 and He said to them, “What do you wish Me to do for you?”
İsa onlara, “Sizin için ne yapmamı istiyorsunuz?” diye sordu.
37 And they said to Him, “Grant to us that, one on Your right hand and one on Your left, we may sit in Your glory”;
“Sen yüceliğine kavuşunca birimize sağında, ötekimize de solunda oturma ayrıcalığını ver” dediler.
38 and Jesus said to them, “You have not known what you ask; are you able to drink of the cup that I drink of, and with the immersion that I am immersed with—to be immersed?”
“Siz ne dilediğinizi bilmiyorsunuz” dedi İsa. “Benim içeceğim kâseden siz içebilir misiniz? Benim vaftiz olacağım gibi siz de vaftiz olabilir misiniz?”
39 And they said to Him, “We are able”; and Jesus said to them, “Of the cup indeed that I drink of, you will drink, and with the immersion that I am immersed with, you will be immersed;
“Evet, olabiliriz” dediler. İsa onlara, “Benim içeceğim kâseden siz de içeceksiniz, benim vaftiz olacağım gibi siz de vaftiz olacaksınız” dedi. “Ama sağımda ya da solumda oturmanıza izin vermek benim elimde değil. Bu yerler belirli kişiler için hazırlanmıştır.”
40 but to sit on My right and on My left is not Mine to give, but—to those for whom it has been prepared.”
41 And the ten having heard, began to be much displeased at James and John,
Bunu işiten on öğrenci Yakup'la Yuhanna'ya kızmaya başladılar.
42 but Jesus having called them near, says to them, “You have known that they who are considered to rule the nations exercise lordship over them, and their great ones exercise authority on them;
İsa onları yanına çağırıp şöyle dedi: “Bilirsiniz ki, ulusların önderleri sayılanlar, onlara egemen kesilir, ileri gelenleri de onlara ağırlıklarını hissettirirler.
43 but not so will it be among you; but whoever may will to become great among you, he will be your minister,
Sizin aranızda böyle olmayacak. Aranızda büyük olmak isteyen, ötekilerin hizmetkârı olsun.
44 and whoever of you may will to become first, he will be servant of all;
Aranızda birinci olmak isteyen, hepinizin kulu olsun.
45 for even the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give His life [as] a ransom for many.”
Çünkü İnsanoğlu bile hizmet edilmeye değil, hizmet etmeye ve canını birçokları için fidye olarak vermeye geldi.”
46 And they come to Jericho, and as He is going forth from Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, a son of Timaeus—Bartimaeus the blind—was sitting beside the way begging,
Sonra Eriha'ya geldiler. İsa, öğrencileri ve büyük bir kalabalıkla birlikte Eriha'dan ayrılırken, Timay oğlu Bartimay adında kör bir dilenci yol kenarında oturuyordu.
47 and having heard that it is Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and to say, “The Son of David—Jesus! Deal kindly with me”;
Nasıralı İsa'nın orada olduğunu duyunca, “Ey Davut Oğlu İsa, halime acı!” diye bağırmaya başladı.
48 and many were rebuking him that he might keep silent, but the more abundantly he cried out, “Son of David, deal kindly with me.”
Birçok kimse onu azarlayarak susturmak istediyse de o, “Ey Davut Oğlu, halime acı!” diyerek daha çok bağırdı.
49 And Jesus having stood, He commanded him to be called, and they call the blind man, saying to him, “Take courage, rise, He calls you”;
İsa durdu, “Çağırın onu” dedi. Kör adama seslenerek, “Ne mutlu sana! Kalk, seni çağırıyor!” dediler.
50 and he, having cast away his garment, having risen, came to Jesus.
Adam abasını üstünden atarak ayağa fırladı ve İsa'nın yanına geldi.
51 And answering, Jesus says to him, “What do you will I may do to you?” And the blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may see again”;
İsa, “Senin için ne yapmamı istiyorsun?” diye sordu. Kör adam, “Rabbuni, gözlerim görsün” dedi.
52 and Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has saved you”: and immediately he saw again, and was following Jesus in the way.
İsa, “Gidebilirsin, imanın seni kurtardı” dedi. Adam o anda yeniden görmeye başladı ve yol boyunca İsa'nın ardından gitti.
